In a landslide round, Unbreakable drops out. Janet's most recent album has done incredibly well to make the top 5 over many of these classics and it's deservedly so! It is Janet's 11th studio album and is the first to be released from her independent label Rhythm Nation. She left her previous label after they failed to fully support her 2008 album Discipline and returned here after several years of abandoning projects, films and touring. As an album it explores a vast array of issues ranging from Janet's early childhood life, to the death of her brother Michael and to more social injustice issues that she has frequently touched on. It reached #1 in the US and has been praised for showing a growth and maturity from the artist, especially compared to some of the albums that came just before it. Its singles were: "No Sleeep", "Unbreakable" and "Dammn Baby" with the former becoming a top 100 hit in the US (and Janet's 40th overall)!

I absolutely adore the Unbreakable album and am very impressed and pleased to see it reach the top 5 here. It's her best album since perhaps the 90s for me! Those that doubt it, give it a listen and see if it does anything more for you because it's one of her greats I believe!

This round my vote HAS TO go to Control because, as amazing as it is, the other 3 albums are complete masterpieces that go so much further than Control and do so majestically and with so much more finesse.

Control for me too. Love it, but the other three really are the holy trinity.
