05th Roar = 15 Votes

Welcome to Round 20 of least fave Katy Perry single and after a really close battle where we've lost another 2 of her classics and both from the 'Prism' era leaving only the 'Teenage Dream' singles left in the running. 'Roar' finishes in 5th place with 15 votes which is the 2nd highest amount since round 1, and this also means that this was the last remaining lead single left in the competition. "Roar" was her big comeback single after conquering the globe with the 'TD' which made her an household name, all eyes were on Katy as to whether she could do it again and carry on the massive momentum she had built up. Of course she did with this monster hit which became the biggest hit of her career so far hitting #1 in the UK and USA, as well as several other countries, showing everyone that she had the staying power for a long career ahead of her. The song itself is nothing new with it's message of empowerment and resilience, to which had long been a suitable template for music's finest storytellers, and Katy being at the absolute height of her fame knocks it out of the park with it's massive chorus that really struck a chord with people and was the perfect choice to kick off a brand new chapter in her career.
It would be a shame however that to date, she hasn't scored this kind of momentum ever again with any further hits.

04th Dark Horse = 13 Votes

Finishing in 4th place is yet another 'Prism' era single 'Dark Horse', which despite featuring on the same album, it has a totally different sound and feel to it where Katy embraces an upward trending music genre, this time using Trap music and featuring rapper Juicy J for that extra bit of street cred. as well as causing quite a stir before it even got properly released, originally a promo single before the album's release, but quickly becoming more successful than the album's 2nd single 'Unconditionally', basically eclipsing that song and therefore having no choice but to make this a single in it's own right. This definitely stands out in her discography as well as anything else that was on the radio at the time, her vocals are powerful and seductive that really pulls you in and shows that even fans of Katy's pop music will follow her when she tries new and exciting things.

Right then guys just 3 songs left 'Teenage Dream', 'Firework' & 'E.T.', which of these will go to the final round that's for you to decide. So same rules apply just vote for your least favourite out of the remaining 3.

Quite easily Firework again.

If Dark Horse made the top three then that would've been the PERFECT line-up sad.gif

Has to be E.T for me purely because the other two are in my top ~20 songs of all time, but I'm happy enough to see Firework claw its way into the top 3 because I know it has its larger share of haters than many others, or at least I thought so.
