14. Crocodile (6 votes | 12.77%)



Crocodile is one of the most MARMEET episodes of the whole series. I've seen people either love it or absolutely hate it. I'm in the former category as I love following the lead make more and more unwise decisions as she unravels a darker and darker path. It is certainly one of the darkest episodes and I know people criticise it for being unnecessarily bleak and also criticise the ending. It really is one of my favourites though and I enjoyed the twists and turns it took you down.

15. The National Anthem (9 votes | 19.15%)



It's the one with the pig. It was such a brave move to introduce a new risky anthology series with an episode where the Prime Minister must get and down and dirty with a pig but somehow it pulled it off and the show is amongst the biggest in the world! And of course we since know a former PM chose to do it whilst part of the same club as the current PM... I do think the episode is slightly too focused on the central concept but, conversely, there is a lot more too it than the reactions may suggest. Rory Kinnear really plays a great role in capturing someone in that horrible position and the twist is so dark and clever. I probably should give it greater recognition that I do
