First out with a fairly unanimous result it's 'I'm So Stupid'. The highly electronically synth-ed track takes the sounds of the album to the extreme offering extremely harsh electronic sounds alongside the more acoustic sounds she experimented with. It apparently initially had more gentle vocals, which were then frozen to create a more distorting affect (particularly in the "i'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" screeches). It's a song that lashes out at listeners proclaiming that everyone is stupid in this indictment of her American life. 11. I'm So Stupid (8 votes, 72.73%) |

This was once my least favourite and probably one of my top worst ever Madonna songs, so I can't really deny it being last, even if it has grown to be one of the best for me.
'X-Static Process' again, although, in typical fashion, the song has been stuck in my head this past week. Like I said though, it does have a really gorgeous, soft melody and it's just the fact it drags a tad without going anywhere that puts it in last place for me. It's going to be interesting to see how 'Die Another Day' does here. It's usually considered one of the worst Bond themes but I think it has a special following on here. |

'X-Static Process', To be honest up until these polls, I haven't listened to this album in years as I find that this is one of my least fave Madonna albums, but listening to it again I did give it another chance and while there are a few standout moments like 'Hollywood', 'Nothing Fails', 'Intervention', 'Mother And Father' & 'Die Another Day', I still very much uneven about it, and at the time I hated the title track, although I am starting to warm to it slightly.

Having just listened to the album this morning, I definitely think Nobody Knows Me was the weakest link. Although I thought Mother and Father was worse than I remembered it being too.

I'm really getting into the album again thanks to this. I think 'Intervention' might have a good shot at winning.. surely it's IMPOSSIBLE to dislike that?

I don't really see much vocal appreciation of it but I could just picture it being a song lots of people do love. Show the love, guys!

Oh it is clearly the best thing on the album - I think I said as much in round one?

Although I don't think I've ever openly stated it, returning to the album now I definitely agree it's an album highlight and could be the best song on it for me. A really beautiful piece of music amongst all the frenzied mayhem that surrounds it.

I have long stated Intervention as being my favourite Madonna song tbh, it's just without flaws.

Oh yeah, I definitely recall you saying as such. Glad to see there is indeed a lot of love out there for it!
We've currently got a tie between 'Love Profusion' and 'X-Static Process'. You know what to do, people. |
