I don't completely disagree with that review, to be honest — there is too much here and a lot of it is pretty one note. I wish 'Attention' was the blueprint and the direction of the album went further towards the trip-hop, jazz beats, neo-soul side of things.

I personally love the album , it’s very solid and cohesive. Agora Hills is definitely a smash waiting to happen also !

I actually get the “one note” criticism. But I think this for like 90% of rap albums I listen to. However, I do think the tracks stand extremely well on their own away from the album. Her rapping and flow is incredible and some lyrics/wordplay here are fantastic.

As an album it’s good (great rap album) but it’s better when the tracks are listened to seperately, imo.

For the 2nd week in a row, Doja Cat has TWO SOLO songs in the top 10 US Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. 'Paint The Town Red' down to #5 (tying Lizzo's ('Truth Hurts') record of weeks in the top 5) and 'Agora Hills' rising up 1 spot from #10 to #9! I NEED her to perform 'Agora Hills' at the GRAMMYs and get it boosted into the top 5 tbh.

Also... makes history as the first female rapper to HEADLINE Coachella. Ohhhhh... that performance is going to be absolutely incredible. Can not WAIT!
