So without using our 'cheap generic dance entries', East Rukahavian have qualified for the final. A spokesman reported that they don't accept our Head of BJSC entries is not a 'cheap hoe' as it was reported that he was following their entries with Spinnin' Records and are demanding an apology. We spoke to Faith Capaldi and she said 'East Rukahavian will always continue to support BJSC'. however this is the first time people of East Rukahavian have listened to her as with her surnames both being two singers that are forbidden to listen to.

An immediate investigation is underway at East Rukahavian, as the embarassment of a nil pointer has happened last night during the semi-final results. A spokesman for East Rukahavian said:
QUOTE This nil pointer has devastasted me, especially to the people of East Rukahavian, we hope to come back in the next contest, we want to feel that we take heart and pride in our entries, especially after the 'cheap generic dance-bloc entries' controversy. |

We have entered: soft serve- Wait For You Following the fiasco of BJSC 149. we have decided to change genre for this contest. We spoke to Faith Capaldi and she said QUOTE "In the last contest, we were embarrassed, we felt that there had to be a change following the nil-pointer", |

Not meant to be, but we'll be back, thanks to everyone for your votes. Better feedback than previous entries which include the nul-pointer, generic dance entries and the notorious David Jordan entry.

This already sounded good from when I was previewing the songs before the contest started but it did continue to grow also, not enough to make votes but it was included in the difficult batch to cut really. It'll be more down to how strong most found the semi more than anything. Keep it up tho Mack!

About the band behind our entry:
QUOTE As the brain-child of Los Angeles native Jake Hays, Maudlin Strangers began its inception as a solo indie rock project in 2010. After a handful of independent releases and curating a band composed of close friends, they signed with BMG/Vagrant Records to release the label-debut "Overdose" EP in 2015, subsequently touring with label-mate Bad Suns across US/Canada. After a west coast tour with pop-trio LANY, they toured as direct support for Cold War Kids on their North America/Canada tour, before ultimately going on a hiatus in 2016. Forward to 2023, Maudlin Strangers re-emerges with a new lineup of more close friends (original member Richie Gonzales on Drums, Alexander "Schmorgle" Morgan on Guitar/Keys, and Drew Bruchs on Bass).
