QUOTE Scissor Sisters star Jake Shears has revealed he and his pal Kylie Minogue have something "up their sleeves" music wise Jake Shears and his pal Kylie Minogue have a collaboration "up their sleeves". The Scissor Sisters star and his bandmate Babydaddy previously teamed up with the Australian pop princess on her 2004 hit 'I Believe In You' and 2007 record 'Aphrodite'. And now the 'Filthy/Gorgeous' hitmaker, who has been in the UK promoting his self-titled debut solo record, recently enjoyed a takeaway and catch up with Kylie, 50, at her West London pad, and they could be set to cook up a storm in the studio. He told the Metro newspaper of his meetings with the 'Dancing' hitmaker: "There's no night out with us. "It's a night in with take-out and just catching up. "We have our adventures. She and I have a lot to catch up on. There's so many things!" The 39-year-old star also revealed that the pair love to dance to one another's songs in the kіtchen before they are released to the world. He added: "We dance to each other's tunes before they come out. "Once something's out you never talk about it again or listen to it again. "But before something comes out you really get excited and play it to each other. "You dance in the kіtchen. She and I have some stuff up our sleeves." The pals may not even need to come up with new material as in 2014, Jake claimed there's a plethora of songs which could be released that they wrote together. He said: "I love writing with her and always have. I'm really proud of all the songs I've written with her and I think someday I'm gonna, like, put together a Scissors-Kylie record. "There's a whole album's worth of music. It's from over the years. There's some really cool stuff that no-one has heard. We could definitely put together a fun little album. Someday I'm gonna be shifty and leak it." Jake heaped praise on Kylie's songwriting abilities and said it was more like "playtime" than grafting. He continued: "She's a great writer and I love writing with her, she's great with lyrics. But it's just like playtime, you know. It feels like play, not work. It's just a nice time for us to hang out and be creative with each other." (Source: List) 'I Believe in You' and 'The Other Boys' are fantastic, I'd welcome hearing this stuff they've come up with, past or present. |

IBIY is one of my Top 5 Kylie songs so totally ready to hear what they have done together! Love the idea of him putting out a mini collection or something.
We always get teased with stuff like this though.... I’m already over having to wait for the Sigala collaboration |

Yes IBIY and TOB! So much love for those. But let's not forget 'White Diamond'. It's stunning.

Something as camp, anthemic and joyful as 'The Other Boys' will do nicely.

Both Jake and Kylie have shown they can work wonderfully together.
That said, i think in large the time has passed for their style of music, based on what we have heard to date. If they worked on an album together some years back success could have easily become of it but i would not be so sure now. |

That's obvious though, neither of them can get hits on their own in this day and age.

True so some level, i think the best for both would be possible album tracks.
The fans would likely welcome and enjoy it. |

I'd be fine if it's a single after Kylie released one collaborating with James Corden. You can't really sink lower than that.

And I still can’t listen to that song after the record company literally pressed a handful of promo copies of it and I had to spend an obscene amount of money to get one |
