Just a little topic on your thoughts on the Kylie track "Golden Boy", that was released on Vinyl for Record Store Day. Personally I think that it is a fantastic track and should have definately made the Kiss Me Once album. It would have been a perfect addition, just listen to it and along with Crystalize which also should have made the album and it's just another example of the record label botching up another Kylie album, like they did with X.
I also think that in my opinion that it would have made a fantastic single as well, could you imagine if she followed "Into The Blue" with this, and along with a decent video. Then maybe yes stuck with "Crystalize" as a charity single and then possibly release "Les Sex" as the 4th single. That would have been a much better campaign. But that's just my opinion. What dp you think. |

I like it, I think it sounds a lot more 'Kylie' than some of the album and wouldn't mind it being on there in place of a couple of the other tracks.
'Crystallize' however is nothing that special at all. |

The lyrics is a bit repetitive and it could be great with better production but I agree with Aly that it's better than about half the songs on KMO.

It's a decent track, better than a few album tracks but not really a glaring omission from the album.

I also think that Sleeping With The Enemy should have been included on the standard edition and released as a single possibly as well

It really should have at least been included on the standard edition, I still struggle to understand that.

Bumping this as Golden Boy just appeared on iTunes and Spotify on Friday as part of a compilation called Dance Queens put out by Warner, random!

I've been listening to a lot of Kiss Me Once leftovers recently and 'Golden Boy' is one I really enjoy. Maybe not the biggest of the omissions from the album, but 'Golden Boy' alongside the likes of 'Sparks', 'Sleeping with the Enemy', 'Mr President', 'Glow', 'Wait' etc. as well as some of the songs that did make the final cut would be such an album.

I do feel it should have made the album over some of the tracks selected.
That said, Crystalize should without doubt have been added as i think it is a great song and a highlight from what otherwise a dull and disappointing era from Kylie. |

KMO gets so much hate - it’s actually become one of my most played kylie albums and I have to say I love it (I wasn’t impressed when it was first released but listen to it all the time now).

It's got a similar name, maybe people are confusing it with Golden That's how I came across it on Spotify yesterday...

It is strange that it's almost 600 places higher than her new official single on iTunes.
