Will Drake finally be toppled? Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber & MŲ are eyeing up the top spot with their single Cold Water, although we could also see Jonas Blue, Calum Scott or The Chainsmokers make it - it's wide open right now ohmy.gif Also this week, Anne-Marie may score her first top 40 hit with Alarm which is making good upward progress on iTunes and Spotify.

On the album chart, it's a quiet week once again, perhaps Bear's Den will make it to #1, or could we see another week for Adele? Maybe Christine and the Queens will jump up? Time will tell. Expect Now 94 to be the compilations #1 too.

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm.
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

Ooh, not sure Major Lazer is actually selling quick enough to topple Drake. Exciting!

Bear in mind that these Minty comments are typically off the mark heehee.gif

Their streaming will have up to ramp up massively throughout the week I suspect, which is certainly achievable!

Not sure who will get the number one album this week, yesterday on Itunes Bear's Den were the highest placed artist album. Gucci Maine is doing well on apple music.

I must admit Final Song will get more recognition with MŲ been at #1 on Cold Water, the collaboration should give Final Song more attention. Let's hope Final song will continue to rise now up the chart, its such a good track.

I think the major laser track would be selling a lot more if it was Justin bieber feat major lazer instead of the other way round i think drake might keep the number 1

Mark Ronson never had any issues - it's only been out one day.

Christine & The Queens' Album was able to increase Sales last week on the back of more airplay for "Tilted" and TV advertising, it would be great if this continues this week and secures the top spot.

Possibly worth noting that half of the current top 10 is reduced to 59p on iTunes - Drake, Jonas Blue, Shawn Mendes, Clean Bandit and Calum Scott, plus Bastille Good Grief now sneaking in to the iTunes top ten due to reduction.

Major Lazer has had a great opening start on Spotify with 311k.

If he can around 25k stream points, 35k sales will probably be enough if 60k is the likely target.

it's not miles ahead, Perfect Strangers is actually closer than anybody has been to One Dance in weeks

I think that Cold Water has the #1 guaranteed if it doesn't drop on SPotify... it's selling 3 times more than One dance on itunes and has started with over 300K on Spotify
