'This Is How We Do' in the top 15 is a success for me *.* It was always a highlight of 'Prism' for me.

'California Gurls' in about it's rightful position, which is pleasing to see! 'Thinking Of You' is too. 'Last Friday Night' should be a bit lower. It's good though.

Pleased to see TIHWD top 15. Pretty catchy but perhaps it should've been an album track.

cry.gif at LFN so low mad.gif would've thought it would end AT LEAST top 5! One of her best tbh.

'Last Friday Night' is a great pop song, but I just don't love it like her other singles.

11. UNCONDITIONALLY - Average: 7.97

YOU'RE HOT: 11 Johnkm, Mike Sugafan, Sean Grey, 10 Liam, Acidburn, Lotti, Cremey, AdamAloud
YOU'RE COLD: -1 Atonement, Scene, 3 Jade

Unconditionally also way performs my expectations and just misses the top 10. Well the just misses the top 10 part is a lie because even though this came 11th, it is over 0.35 behind 10th place average wise. And thank gosh it missed the top 10 because I would have had a fit if this got in over the song at #10. I am glad this seems to be appreciated on here as it is a beautiful Katy ballad with great vocals and a lovely video. This flopped worldwide and missed the top 20 here despite an X-Factor performance and also struggled in most countries unfortunately  I love this song and this is the first song to receive multiple 11’s let alone three 11’s and it also got a load of other high scores but on the other end of the spectrum it also got multiple -1’s and quite a few low scores!

Your Top 10 is:
Dark Horse (Ft Juicy J)
E.T. (Ft Kanye West)
Firework
Hot N Cold
I Kissed A Girl
Roar
Teenage Dream
The One That Got Away
Waking Up In Vegas
Wide Awake
The top 10 will start later and any predictions?

Uncle de Sean Ali *.* I've really grown to love that song recently music.gif shame it missed top 10 and hopefully there's a banger taking its place biggrin.gif

Sorry. laugh.gif I'm sure I have a few high ones on the way. I really can't stand 'Unconditionally'. Plus this forum has made me think of "Uncle DeSean Ali" every time I see Seann Miley Moore on XF due to his name plus the fact the song was playing during his audition. tongue.gif

I feel like I need to open a 'This is How We Do' appreciation thread.

I agree with Jay 'Thinking of You' is way too high...What a nothing song. Same goes for Unconditionally.

'Waking Up In Vegas' top ten <3, I'm sure it'll be next out though...

'Part Of Me' and 'California Gurls' deserve to be as low as they are. 'Birthday' doesn't. sad.gif

Some great songs dropping here, "California Gurls" is still amazing to this day and ranks as one of her best, "Last Friday Night" is also fantastic and was so pleased when it got announced as a single. "This Is How We Do" is okay but doesn't do anything for me, it's just kinda there and "Starstrukk" should be lower, aged pretty badly now.

"Unconditionally" is something that has grown on me through the last couple of months and did deserve better than it did. Like I said before the problem was the timing, all the hype was still on "Roar" at the time, and this kinda got caught in the crossfire and was released too soon. Then when "Roar" starting dying down, all the hype went on "Dark Horse" and "Unconditionally" got forgotten.

For the top 10 I predict =

01. E.T.
02. Firework
03. Teenage Dream
04. Dark Horse
05. Hot N' Cold
06. Roar
07. Wide Awake
08. The One That Got Away
09. Waking Up In Vegas
10. I Kissed A Girl

I think I agree with this prediction except I'd put IKAG in 9th and WUIV in 10th.

Are we waiting for 'Walking On Air' to become a single? Because I totally support that plan.

I can only assume that "Teenage Dream" won. I wouldn't want the task of revealing that either.

10. THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY - Average: 8.30

YOU'RE HOT: 11 Jonjo, JosephStyles, Lotti, Cremey, 10 DionTheSats123, *Tim, NickF1, Ultraviolence1989, Sean Grey, Johnkm
YOU'RE COLD: 4 Joe, 6 Atonement, Regina, KylieJackson, AmericanOyxgen, Juliano, HenEveryTuesday, Mack

Despite being miles ahead average wise of #11, I am shocked and so annoyed this can only just make the top 10 sad.gif I nearly gave this my 11 and it is my 2nd favourite Katy Perry song and I can't believe this isn't even the highest ballad here sad.gif The One That Got Away is an absolutely beautiful ballad and the lyrics are one of Katy's best. The 'in another life' part is just heartbreaking and this is the best Katy has sounded on a song in my view. Her vocals are absolutely stunning on this and this deserved to do so much better officially and in this rate. This was the 1st single of the Teenage Dream era to miss the #1 spot in America and this also only peaked at a low #18 here but it held on for a long time and has sold fantastically thank gosh *.* The video is also utterly fantastic and one of Katy's best! This received 4 11's and a lot of other high scores but quite a lot of 6's and 7's prevented it from going any higher sad.gif

9. I KISSED A GIRL - Average: 8.34

YOU'RE HOT: 11 NickF1, 10 Ultraviolence1989, Cody Slayberry, Liam, Mr_Pmt, Acidburn, Jay, HenEveryTuesday
YOU'RE COLD: 5 Johnkm, 6 Regina, Mike Sugafan, Cremey, Juliano

Yeah this top 10 is really starting the wrong way round as we now lose another Katy single which is her top 3 ever! I Kissed A Girl was the song that kicked of Katy's career and was a massive number 1 worldwide including spending 5 weeks at the top in the UK and being one of the biggest sellers of the year! I absolutely adore this song and it is a pop gem and classic *.* The video was also quite good and Kesha is also in the video and I find this really underrated nowadays sad.gif This means Roar is the only lead single still in the running now! IKAG only received 1 11 but got a lot of other high scores and no lower than a 5!

Not a fan of The One That Got Away - by far her worst in the top 10, so I'm glad it were out first. I Kissed A Girl is amazing, but it's a stellar top 9.

8. WIDE AWAKE - Average: 8.36

YOU'RE HOT: 11 DionTheSats123, Noahspike, AdamAloud, Jade, 10 Ultraviolence1989, Sean, NickF1, Lotti, *Tim
YOU'RE COLD: -1 Regina, 4 Atonement, Kylie Jackson, Scene

I'm surprised Wide Awake did as well as this as I'm never sure if this is loved or not liked on buzzjack. Wide Awake was the 2nd single from the Teenage Dream Deluxe Era and was released at the time of Katy's concert movie Katy Perry: Part Of Me *.* This song is a fantastic ballad but I would have put it a few places lower tbh. The video is great though and a really nice video! This received 4 11's and a wide range of high scores but on the other hand a -1 and quite a few lower scores stopped it from going higher. Actually without Regina's -1, it is pretty much certain this would have gone top 5 and maybe even as high as top 3!

7. WAKING UP IN VEGAS - Average: 8.42 (Less 11's)

YOU'RE HOT: 11 Joe, Regina, Riser, 10 Ultraviolence1989, Jahq, Kylie Jackson, Johnkm, *Tim, AdamAloud
YOU'RE COLD: 4 MikeSugafan, 5 Cremey

Next up is probably the 3rd biggest surprise of the rate in how high it finished (after Thinking of You and Unconditionally) in the form of Waking Up In Vegas. WUIV was the 4th single from Katy's breakout era- One Of The Boys- and had an ok performance in the charts. This is a fantastic pop song with an amazing video which shows Katy getting loads of money to losing it all and this is really highly appreciated on buzzjack which is good to see! This got 3 11's- 2 of them unsurprisingly being from Joe and Riser who's 2nd song that both were heavily hyping falls out- and barely any low scores at all. This just missed out on 6th place (thank gosh considering what is 6th) due to receiving less 11's but still it's a fantastic performance here for a Katy single that only just made the top 20!
