Dexton's Top 20 (22/08/2017) (Week 15)

This week Avicii holds on tightly to both #1 and #2 with Without You and Lonely Together, but his third entry in my chart, What Would I Change It To featuring AlunaGeorge (3-4) is replaced by New Rules in the Top 3. Dua shows that she won't let anyone - not even Avicii - keep her too far from the top atfer her brief stint as #1 three weeks ago. Duke Dumont & Gorgon City's Real Life featuring NAATIONS reaches a new peak this week as it climbs 6-5, pushing Camila Cabello (5-9) clean out of the Top 5.

Pink becomes the only other song on the chart this week to climb, reaching a new peak (15-6) after What About Us debuted on the chart last week at 15. The Script (7-7), Martin Solveig (8-8), and The Killers (10-10) refuse to budge this week whilst new entries come from three of the freshest names in dance music: Jaded, James Hype, and Marshmello. If you haven't heard Jaded's In The Morning yet (and you should), just imagine the lovechild of Jax Jones and Kungs but in a not-so-trend-chasing manner.

This week we say goodbye to Imagine Dragons' Thunder, which peaked at just #3 but managed a whole 10 weeks on the chart! Taking over as the Longest Running are The Killers with The Man, but at #20 this week will it hold the record for much longer?

Loving the Avicii takeover here! Amazing top 2. The Aluna one is my least fave but still good enough for my top 10 of course.
New P!nk is growing for me now, should make my top 100 this week.
Ouch at Camilla dropping 1-9 in the space of two weeks. Havana is growing for me now, could possibly peak in my top 40 eventually.

Utterly fantastic chart this week, I'm especially loving the Avicii #1 and Duke City's single right now!

Thrilled I could have some small part in introducing you to Jaded, and that James Hype cover of En Vogue's classic 90's hit is just ace!
