great. Aus loves Eurovision, and any country that is willing to put up with the time differences to enter deserves a slot. The standard of songs is much better with more countries, too, and no one country dominates like they used to.
Other parts of the world could always arrange their own versions and we could have a gigantic World Song Contest from the top entries. |

With timezones and shit, it'd be tricky to organise a live event!

Something like World Idol could happen I guess. That was pre-recorded iirc.
(Although I'll still never get over Kurt Nilsen comprehensively beating Kelly Clarkson and Will Young) |

Here are some odds for who the Australian representative will be: http://www.nicerodds.co.uk/australias-repr...eurovision-2015
Samantha Jade currently 5/1 favourite with Ricki-Lee, Anja Nissen and Jessica Mauboy behind her. |

IT NEEDS TO BE RICKI OR JESS Omg or NatBass who's on those odds!!
Any of those ladies would be fab though, Anja has an incredible voice. |

Sheppard and The Veronicas should be in that list!
Delta please and thank you! Although I think I'd literally die if my two biggest musical obsessions were combined like that! |

Iggy Azalea on 13/1 tho she would never do eurovision.
Samantha Jade seems like the most likely option, no surprise she's at the top of the odds |

Ricki Lee did post her little sister on Instagram singing Over The Rainbow and jokingly asked what the age limit was for Eurovision so she must be a fan, hope that was a hint or sign

Natalie Bassingthwaighte is amazing, all though not the best live vocalist under pressure. See All We Have on the X Factor.
I don't think they would trot out Jessica Mauboy again, she must be kicking herself at only doing the semi final last year. Kylie is so unlikely. Dannii doesn't really sing anymore. Samantha Jade would be amazing, and probably her best chance of getting her album out too. Ricki Lee, one last chance at being relevant? I wouldn't be surprised to see them try and do something credible sounding and go with Guy Sebastian. |

I'd be very happy with Guy Sebastian, I loved the song Liam sent of his to BJSC that I've now completely forgotten the name of. Apparently Julia confirmed in an interview somewhere that they won't be sending a novelty entry so that's good!

I'd quite like either The Presets or Cut Copy to represent Australia.
They could really shake the whole contest up. |

^ Battle Scars (that was meant for Ryan of course oops )
Guy would be fab, he's one of Australia's best vocalists. I totally forgot about THAT performance of All We Have on XF Australia from NatBass Ricki-Lee has a great voice too and is a reliable performer, she could do with the boost too whereas Guy and Jessica for example are huge in Aus anyway (but I guess they could do with a profile boost WW). |

Delta has replied to a tweet from a fan about being the Aussie entrant.
Wouldn't Sitting on Top of the World have been perfect for this?! |

Blink TV, who are working with SBS, have starting asking for song submissions so it looks like the entry isn't yet decided. Everyone get tweeting your favourite Australian artists to send in their latest singles!

Hmm, the announcement video from last week made it sound like it had already been decided to me, the way she says "can you guess who it's going to be?" But maybe it is a case of still being a guessing game even for SBS at this stage.
Not like they've got loads of time to come to a decision |

Maybe they do have an entry selected but are just opening it up to the "public" so they feel included and to avoid criticism that it'll all be being done behind the scenes. Just like the BBC did with their "open submissions" even though I'm pretty sure it will be someone connected to BBC Introducing anyway unless someone like One Direction, Ellie Goulding or Ella Henderson chose to submit a song!

Holly Valance has reportedly submitted a song according to ESC Forum! 'Kiss Kiss' would've been perfect 10 years ago.
