I’m here for our Lord and saviour Jessica Mauboy. Of course I’m also here for the annual unappreciation of Slovenia ceremony. Poor loves they deserve so much more.
Also hoping for a spectacular failure by Rybak but Slovenia is more likely to qualify than that Jacques Houdek from Croatia last year just ripped into Salvador on Facebook-one very long rant. A snippet: Yaaaaaas Jacques! Salvador remains a truly rancid prick I see. Awful song sung by a complete c**t. If I wanted that from Eurovision I’d go watch Ed Sheeran perform. |

I honestly gained a lot of respect for Jacques for that post (even if it was a bit nonsensical here and there) and lost whatever shrivel of respect I may have stashed somewhere for Salvador.
I can't at people actually liking this Hungarian shoutfest. My ears bleed whenever I hear the screaming. Praying to god the jury sink it to the bottom of the sea where it belongs. |

I think Jessica Mauboy could be a good contender for the Barbara Dex award this year, that dress is awful.

Romania will qualify.
This is likely the first year Australia wont do well even if they qualify. Denmark, Hungary, The Netherlands and Malta i really want to see going through, Sweden, Norway, Moldova and Ukraine are certs to qualify. |

Jessica missed a few notes last night and put her mic out to the crowd a few times at the end of the song presumably because her voice was almost gone. Her voice has sounded more and more tired as the week has gone on. Nevertheless, I still think it was easily competent enough to get the jury support it needs!
In this afternoon's rehearsal though she sounded pretty great. I'm sure she'll be fine! |

Phew, fingers crossed! Yeah it's gonna be their lowest placement anyway which is gutting given the utter shite that got them to 9th last year Like Saara though I think she's just happy to represent her country and be on the stage with her song so like Saara I'm just happy if she gets the final mostly! If it were to slip out I'd be more gutted than I've ever been for a DNQ

In what world is there any chance that Australia doesn't qualify? We saw last year that the jury will give them points just for existing and it'll be the same again for Jessica.

Jessica may have struggled in SF1, but should be fine here. She is likely to get a high televote score as there is literally no competition from the rest of the female singers in this semi- songwise anyway.

I’m not convinced Norway are winning this semi. Are juries really gonna side with him that much?

Possibly not, but I can't see anyone touching him, or even particularly close, in the public vote for this semi. So even coming 3rd or 4th with the jury could be enough to keep him top.
Sergey could've come like 6th or 7th with the juries in his semi in 2016 and still have won the semi because his televote lead was so great. He could've got 0pts from the juries and still nearly come top 5 infact, and I see Alexander potentially being this years Sergey. |

Predict:
01 Sweden 02 Moldova 03 Ukraine 04 Hungary 05 Australia 06 Norway 07 Denmark 08 Poland 09 Montenegro 10 Russia -- 11 Romania 12 Malta 13 Serbia 14 Latvia 15 Netherlands 16 Georgia 17 Slovenia 18 San Marino I'd prefer 01 Romania 02 Sweden 03 Hungary 04 Moldova 05 Denmark 06 Montenegro 07 Slovenia 08 Netherlands 09 Australia 10 Ukraine A bit of room to maneuver though, I wouldn't mind Russia or Poland in just as long as my top 5 are all through, I'm very worried for Romania now. and yes, you can take this as read that I am now PROPERLY STANNING Ingrosso |
