We say goodbye to another 3 songs from Round 3. For the several upcoming rounds, only 2 songs will be eliminated. So, please vote for 2 of your least favorite tracks. The deadline is on Saturday, July 8th at 23.59 BST. 19. Lovesick (with Sophie Simmons) [4 votes, 33.33%] Released in 2022 as the 6th single of the 3rd album Walkerverse, Alan collaborated with Canadian artist Sophie Simmons. Same as Becky Hill's collaboration with B Live and JME, the song sampled Hungarian Dance No. 5 in F♯ Minor (G Minor for Orchestra): Allegro by Johannes Brahms. The album itself performed awfully, especially during post-teaser promotions, becoming a possible reason why only Hello World and The Drum that got charted in Norway. Lovesick, however, deserved a chance to take part in this survivor series after getting exposure at BJSC. =17. Lily (with K-391 & Emelie Hollow) [2 votes, 16.67%] Released in 2018 as an album track of Different World, Alan teamed up with K-391 and another fellow Norwegian Emelie Hollow. It originally came from K-391's epic rap beat tutorial song called Flux. Although the track is performed by all-Norwegian acts, it was nowhere near becoming a hit in the country. Instead, it was in Indonesia and Malaysia where the song became popular, peaking at top 6 Spotify prior the release of On My Way. I would assume US knew the song better, for it peaked at #12 on Billboard Hot Dance / Electronic Songs. By today, the song already reaches 345 million Spotify streams, his 9th most streamed song. =17. Headlights (with Alok & KIDDO) [2 votes, 16.67%] Released in 2022 as an non-album collaboration single, Alan teamed up with Brazilian DJ Alok and Swedish singer-songwriter KIDDO. Alok had a UK top 100 hit last year, while KIDDO was a 3-time BJSC entry who had a non-UK European hit with Robin Schulz and co-wrote the Tiësto x Charli XCX collab Hot In It. The song also became Alan’s first ever single in the biggest EDM imprint Spinnin’ Records. It peaked at #15 in Norway and #59 in Sweden, also having almost 95 million Spotify streams. Previous results: =20. Lost Control (with Sorana) [4 votes, 13.33% – TIEBREAK: 7 votes, 35.00%] =20. Paradise (with K-391 & Boy in Space) [4 votes, 13.33% – TIEBREAK: 7 votes, 35.00%] 22. Man On The Moon (with Benjamin Ingrosso) [5 votes, 16.67%] 23. Not You (with Emma Steinbakken) [2 votes, 7.41% – TIEBREAK] 24. Sweet Dreams (with Imanbek) [5 votes, 18.52%] 25. PS5 (with salem ilese & TOMORROW X TOGETHER) [6 votes, 22.22%] Playlists: |
