♪ I don't wanna sleep tonight-night-night-night-night, I just wanna take that ride ♪ Troye Sivan ft Ariana Grande — Dance To This [2-11-12-30-32-xx] A song which deserved way more than it got officially, in fact it got barely anything officially for some reason. Well, it's probably because it was released at the same time as Bed and everyone assumed a Nicki & Ari collab would be an instant hit so this got shoved under the rug. Whilst Bed did better commercially this was the much better song and lands at #99 in my Top 100 of 2018. Troye Sivan hasn't spent much time in my chart and his only other single to have charted for me didn't even make the Top 200 - however a new release from him with Lauv may change things as we go into 2019. You know an album's been handled poorly when a collab with Ariana Grande practically goes unnoticed :') Dance To This is quite good on its own merits though, totally wasted potential!

A song I passed over on the albums release later got a single push and became quite the radio hit both in Australia and in the US. Delicate re-entered my chart two months after it's initial run thanks to the SeeB remix - and whilst it didn't manage to find a new peak it did manage to push the track into the Top 100 (if not for the re-enter it would have landed at #131). ♪ Somewhere between a minute and a lifetime ♪ Mabel & Not3s — Fine Line [33-25-20-14-14-9-11-16-29-34-xx] Mabel's first 'solo' hit on my chart actually came joined at the hip with Not3s, the man behind My Lover who gave Mabel her first Top 10 hit in late 2017. This is the much better song from their two collaborations and my favourite from Mabel to date (maybe joint with Finders Keepers) including Ring Ring which - whilst it peaked higher - got a bit tedious to listen to eventually! Fine Line is definitely my favourite from Mabel so far, it's really catchy and her voice on it is just great! It's #11 peak will annoy me forever though

Well they never met in person to write or record this, Ed just sent him his vocals for a chorus years ago and Eminem finally decided to use it to grab an easy chart hit. It's a decent song and definitley a highlight from Revival but really was not a good Eminem song especially when Kamikaze was just around the corner with infinitley better music. Stepping Stone and The Ringer from Kamikaze placed in the Top 200 and Lucky You is yet to come. ♪ I've been talking to your answerphone, na na ♪ Banx & Ranx + Ella Eyre ft Yxng Bane — Answerphone [18-17-15-17-22-16-12-13-16-25-38-xx] Despite debuting in the Top 20 this struggled to take off much further, eventually peaking at #12 after 6 weeks in the chart and falling out of the Top 20 for one of them! If I'm thinking correctly this is also the longest running Top 20 hit in my chart to have not made the Top 10 with 8 weeks between #12 and #18! Ella Eyre later had a minor chart hit with Just Got Paid which landed at #128 in my Top 200. ♪ Oops I got 99 problems singing bye, bye, bye ♪ Anne-Marie — 2002 Oops I got a crappy song charting in my Top 100. I actually liked this at first hence it's 3 weeks in the Top 10 but it fell out very quickly and now I find it one of the most annoying songs of 2018 I do like Anne-Marie a lot of the time but a lot of her 2018 material was just trashy. I loved Friends (and still do a bit x) but the likes of 2002, Don't Leave Me Alone, Perfect To Me, and a lot of her album is just plain bad. To think she went from making 10/10 pop songs like Do It Right, Alarm, Rockabye, Catch 22, Ciao Adios to this crap  Also Rewrite The Stars is adhorent and by far her worst. She hasn't had any chart impact since then though sooooo nice. This is a nice song, it's not as impactful as Don't Kill My Vibe but it's definitely a great showcase of her vocal talents and a good indicator of what's to come in her future. ♪ My eyes are getting wider with every word you say ♪ The Wombats — Lemon To A Knife Fight [37-29-22-21-16-13-14-12-14-21-30-36-xx] The last song in my Top 100 that did not reach the Top 10 is this TUNE from The Wombats! I'd never given them much notice as a band before 2018 and only listneed to Lemon out of curiosity, instantly loved it and their album was one of my favourites of the entire year! If I post my top albums of 2018 Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life will most definitely be making an appearance but as far as the singles Top 200 goes this is the last showing for The Wombats! Three songs in my Top 200 is an impressive statistic, although a few others have managed to beat their chart success... ♪ Low-key, no pressure, just hang with me and my weather ♪ Paramore — Rose-Colored Boy [40-29-19-12-10-12-19-27-27-40-xx] One of the most consistently successful bands on my chart are Paramore, creators of 4 Top 10 hits to date all hailing from a gorgeous 2017 album. 80's-pop-rock styled After Laughter has fast become my favourite Paramore album - effortlessly blending uplifting melodies and instrumentals with lyrics that cut straight through the bulls***. This is the sort of music Paramore should have been making all along, I ADORE all of their older stuff but I honestly cannot find a single flaw in this album. Nice to see Lemon in your Top 100, it's a great song and I just think the chorus is such an earworm! Strangers and Rose Coloured Boy are both song I've really liked over the past year as well!

I suppose I got back to All The Stars more now just because of how much more I hear it in public etc. but it did not chart for me so is absent from the Top 200. The Weeknd hasn't had any other chart hit since this, his most recent single flopped a bit and I don't think he's released much else if anything since my chart began. The same kind of goes for Kendrick although his only other chart entry did become a hit here - LOVE. featuring ZACARI. ♪ I’m broken here tonight and darling, no one else can fix me ♪ Cheat Codes x Little Mix — Only You [27-15-11-10-8-9-11-20-31-xx] A surprise collaboration which came during the one period of the year where we thought we wouldn't have any new Little Mix songs to play! It's about as basic as pop-dance records come really but it's a cute bop if a rip-off of numerous other songs. Little Mix all sound great as usual and Cheat Codes... do an alright job as well? The girls carry the song for sure but in the same breath I can also easily imagine any other female artists singing this! A minor official hit in the UK and this has so far outpeaked all/any releases from their most recent album in my chart! I suppose Strip managing to chart for me as an album track was fairly impressive but otherwise Woman Like Me didn't even make my Top 100 of the year (at #111) and their latest single debuted very low after already being out a week or two... ♪ There's no better way to spend the day than getting high with me ♪ Duke Dumont ft Ebenezer — Inhale [39-33-37-32-25-12-6-10-19-28-36-38-xx] A slow burner in my chart which eventually shot up the chart after breaking the Top 30 and ending up spending 2 weeks in the Top 10, peaking at #6. Duke Dumont had a big hit here last year with Real Life which only just missed out on my Top 40 of 2017 and followed it up with Inhale. I do prefer Inhale from his recent releases but Ocean Drive is still the song to beat as one of my favourite dance songs ever!
