Sound of the Underground: On a Round, Lights, Music, Camera, Action What Will The Neighbours Say?: Androgynous Girls, History Loving Is Easy Written by: Girls Aloud, Miranda Cooper, Brian Higgins, Lisa Cowling, Shawn Lee Produced by: Brian Higgins & Xenomania Appeared on: Wake Me Up Vinyl QUOTE Can't explain how I'm feeling So confused, never felt so alone Tired of constantly wanting you near Loving you, hating you Here by the phone One day we're up We're doing fine Along comes a vice To mess with our minds We're giving it all Two fragile hearts But each time reality tears us apart Loving is easy It's all of the rest that just gets in the way Devotion don't feed me Cos absence just leads lonely lovers to stray Who says it's easy? This journey called life's never liked me that much Words only tease me Sometimes love is not enough Shakes in the night Kisses so cold Tears I can't cry Stuck in this hole Two separate worlds Mine's filled with doubt I'm just a girl So what's this about? Need some time to be alone Tired of crying on the phone Too much history Shouting sorries in the rain Round in circles once again It's too much for me Loving is easy It's all of the rest that just gets in the way Devotion don't feed me Cos absence just leads lonely lovers to stray Who says it's easy? This journey called life's never liked me that much Words only tease me Sometimes love is not enough Loving is easy It's all of the rest that just gets in the way Devotion don't feed me Cos absence just leads lonely lovers to stray Who says it's easy? This journey called life's never liked me that much Words only tease me Sometimes love is not enough What do we all think of 'Loving Is Easy' then? It's one of the GA songs I'm least familiar with definitely, but it's pleasant enough I guess. Didn't deserve to be more than just a b-side though. |

^ Agreed! This part is the best moment in the song:
QUOTE One day we're up We're doing fine Along comes a vice To mess with our minds We're giving it all Two fragile hearts But each time reality tears us apart At the time of release I was a bit miffed that they'd relegated a B Side to vinyl... about as bad as when LMCA was only on cassette (in the UK). |

I remember being rather happy that this song ended up being included on the Rarities disc of 'The Sound of Girls Aloud', because for nearly 2 years only a vinyl rip existed!
