Don't forget the Texas forum, unless if Sharleen Spiteri will release another album. Obviously when I said "by no means the only one", that would include Texas..... Also Garbage (who have now split up..), Evanescence (who seem to be in the wilderness atm...), Darius, The Libertines, Razorlight, Natasha Beddingfield..... If we pruned that lot, then we could maybe talk about a forum for Lady GaGa..... |

Garbage are on a mere haitus and there are many a forum which should be removed before Nat Bed's. Obviously Lady GaGa shouldn't have one one album in. Nobody should. I didn't think Leona should've.

Why? Shouldn't Buzzjack cater to the members? Why have an empty Garbage forum which nobody posts in and then a Pop forum clogged up with about 8 GaGa/Leona/Sats threads? There is just no logic at all and it's so petty IMO. I think the whole AF system should be more fluid and match the times. |

Glad we got a confirmation for the next single.
It's weird though, "Lovegame" was the obvious choice since it seems to getting a release everywhere else... Hopefully it does well. |

I wanted 'LoveGame' more, but I guess 'Paparazzi' is less similar to the first two singles. I have to admit it's grown on me immensely, the chorus is just irresistable.

Starstruck should really be the 3rd US single, she needs to smash Xtinas record and imo Starstruck will definately get the 3rd #1 for her. The tracks been in the top 200 download chart ever since the albums release and also Flo is massive there.

Flo isn't on the album version of Starstruck is he?
Anyway, I'm really glad this is the third UK single, although think Eh Eh would have made a better summer release... |

Starstruck would definitely get her 3rd top 3 single in the UK if released.

He is, he's the rapper on it.
Tbh this is how I'd do her singles: 1st - JD 2nd - PF 3rd Europe - BDR 3rd N America - Starstruck 3rd Oceania - Eh Eh 4th - Paparazzi 5th - LoveGame Possible 6th - Money Honey or Boys Boys Boys or maybe no 6th and replace Eh Eh with one of these two I just think it would have worked. How would you guys of done the singles? This post has been edited by Bibliotheque: 7th April 2009, 07:18 PM |

I would have done the same single order everywhere, don't see the point changing it for different territories.
1. Just Dance 2. Poker Face 3. Paparazzi 4. LoveGame 5. Eh Eh 6. Money Honey (if there was a sixth) |

Here's how I would like the singles, but like Ethereal, I'm keeping them for the same territories.
1. Just Dance 2. Poker Face 3. Starstruck 4. LoveGame 5. Paparazzi 6. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich (if a sixth will be released) |

I did different territories different 3rd singles because I think Starstruck is suited perfectly to N America and wouldn't do as well here but BDR would do well in Europe but I fear it would flop in N America.

Casting Notice Project Name: LADY GAGA Project Type: Music Video Format: Rate/Compensation: see roles Message: Hello One and All, I am working on this video for Lady GAGA with the Jonas Akerlund, rates are not great but it's a very small cast all lead and feature roles no big extras driven stuff. Thanks much Role Role Type Gender/Age/Ethnicities Description/Note GAGA'S BOYFRIEND Lead Male / 25 to 35 / Caucasian, Multi-Ethnic Our main hero guy should be really good looking but with a dark side... A bit of a bad boy... A young Mickey Rourke in 9 1/2 weeks. Must be a real good actor as there is lots of acting scenes with GAGA and her guy with some dialogue. Lot's of sex appeal with a mix of danger, mystery and a bit dirty -needs to be good looking but more importantly he needs that special leading man quality. Leading guys like Colin Farrell, Viggo Mortensen are a good example of the vibe we are looking for. Gaga's admirer Lead Male / 18 to 28 / Caucasian, Multi-Ethnic Good looking in the opposite of the Hero guys, more of the white horse night in shiny armor. So tall and beautiful like prince charming. Female Hero's (3) Lead Female / 18 to 25 / All Ethnicities High fashion models to play GAGA's best friends. Beautiful as well as sexy with that high fashion edge. Girls need to be comfortable shooting in lingerie on set. Party Friends (10) Featured Male or Female / 18 to 28 / All Ethnicities Looking for edgy sexy fashion forward people. Must must have charisma a bit of sultry unapproachable fabulous aura, decadence. Think studio 54 party or a Bruce Weber Helmet Newton model party. Swat Team (6) Featured Male / 22 to 40 / All Ethnicities Need swat team, six guys that are in great physical shape. Paparazzi Featured Male or Female / 25 to 45 / All Ethnicities Need aggressive paparazzi types. -------------------- Looks like it's next then |

Oh yes I do agree with that. Starstruck is perfect for Urban radio in the US. I don't think it should be released anywhere else though personally. It's not one of my favourites and I find it very repetitive and bland. I'm still stunned that Fashion didn't make the album to be honest. It was recorded with RedOne when she did JD, PF, MH, LG etc and she decided not to put it on when I think it's stronger than a lot of the songs on the album. |

I guess she wrote it for Heidi and only did her own version when approached for the soundtrack. I can't wait for Paparazzi vid, thanks for posting cisus. |

From what I've read she recorded her version but decided she didn't want it for her album so Heidi recorded it. But it was GaGa's version which went on the soundtrack. Video sounds great. Can't wait to see. |

[size=1]Garbage are on a mere haitus Yeah, I've heard that one before dude..... If I had a quid for every band who claimed to be on a "hiatus" before splitting up/disappearing without trace, I'd be pretty rich..... System of a Down, for example, have been on "hiatus" since about 2005, and in the meantime both the lead singer and guitarist have put out albums playing with different bands.... Regardless, I dont think we should just continue to have a forum for a band who are out of things seemingly indefinitely, if not permanently..... |
