Petite Meller contradicts the itunes chart by being at 23. Could do better though. QUOTE Mint Royale @mintroyale 4m4 minutes ago BOO! Years & Years are not number 1 (it’s David Zowie) QUOTE Mint Royale @mintroyale 3m3 minutes ago BOO! Fifth Harmony are tickling them from behind at number 3 and might beat them. QUOTE int Royale @MintRoyale 2m2 minutes ago Nathan Sykes is fairly Wanted at number 6. QUOTE [Mint Royale @MintRoyale 2m2 minutes ago
Pharrell has gone up to 35 now, in case you were concerned for his bank balance. |

Interesting that Petite is 23 it's frustrating that BL won't hang on unless it climbs a bit throughout the week

good to see David Zowie #1 even if it's for just one update, the pre-orders clearly gave him a headstart. Will be interesting to know the sales though and whether it's possible for Y&Y to catch up.

DZ has decent streaming numbers but probably not enough to catch Y&Y.. pretty surprised to see him ahead of them though.

Y&Y are apparently 5.5k behind Zowie. Can they make it up? Apparently Y&Y have higher streaming than both 5H AND Zowie.

Come on David Zowie!
Remain ahead of Years & Years by Friday! Shame there's no Spotify update. Well, there's an exciting chart battle this week! EDIT: Well done Nathan Sykes. Probably top 20 on Friday then. This post has been edited by Jason: Jul 7 2015, 10:37 AM |

In the one about 5H he mentions that they're #3 and that they could beat them, so I imagine overall there's only about 7k separating #1 & #3! I'd love for the top 3 to reverse from what it is now. But I wouldn't grumble at a Y&Y/5H, 1/2 though!EEEK. This is quite possibly the most exciting chart battle I've seen in ages <3 I might actually avoid ALL midweeks myself |

It's a shame Y&Y have all their Shine/album promo from Friday onwards when they will have probably lost out already.

This is going to be one great battle, I still think Y&Y can get the #1 somehow, I wonder if there is any download sales missing from somewhere.

I was thinking that too, from the fact Nathan is so high... Also Y&Y are quite a bit higher on Amazon, Play and itunes, as well as aparently, streaming - so it's quite a surprise to me that they're 5.5k behind Zowie, even though Zowie had higher pre-orders. |

maybe there's missing Spotify data? That would explain how Y&Y are already streaming better than Zowie/5H

If they are missing from iTunes that could be quite a bit, so they should overcome David Zowie, also I wasn't expecting Petite Meller that high. |

Also, Petite Meller being #23 I'm sceptical about - I would welcome it for sure because I love her song, but she was no where near troubling the top 50 on iTunes until today, and her streaming isn't exactly great.
If they are missing from iTunes that could be quite a bit, so they should overcome David Zowie, also I wasn't expecting Petite Meller that high. I'd agree that it is more liekly to be iTunes data missing rather than Dan's suggestion of Spotify data. I have a feeling they have Sunday's iTunes data but iTunes data could be missing from yesterday. It would explain why Petite and Nathan were so high and why Y&Y were so far behind despite a decent lead on iTunes. This post has been edited by Joe.: Jul 7 2015, 10:54 AM |

If only Y&Y released their album this week, that would have guaranteed them the double, as there be a second version of the single getting cherry picked.

WTF! Y&Y are not number 1? and 5.5K behind?! That's a lot! They will not make it in the next 2 days. SHAME! I wish it was a regular week I guess.
