Confirmed with a big favourite
I had whittled this down to two songs and the deciding factor in the end was choosing the older song, so newer participants are more likely to get a discovery out of it. |

I hoped this would be my chance to finally give an 18 to 'Arcade Summer' aww xx (but your other option was great too ofc. ) |

I'm going to be going with the track that I still listen to most often these days that is old enough to be included (Christine aside!)

Up To No Good!!! Just seen this! I'm still a big fan of the song but I don't think it'd be any more successful than it was back in the day - probably less so considering the audience now? As for you I'm a massive fan of Chordashian and still play it regularly, but I quite like hearing a curveball Aeroche entry. When you entered Slava again to one of these spin-offs it really caught my attention as I really didn't like it in it's original contest! If I were you I'd try something like Data Romance that was really popular at the time but hasn't been well remembered since. |

and whilst I remember I've got an idea for the next YBO; it could have the theme of 'songs that flopped that really deserved better'. similar to YBO 2 which was DNQs only but would be extended to also songs that finished lowly in the final. would be interesting to rediscover the undeserved flops (and I presume we will get a few in this one too though personally I'm sending one of my biggest hits! (and one that predates quite a few countries here so I hope it's a discovery for some))

That's basically what Andra Chansen was (except not restricted to your own entries obvz).

Maybe a 'Andra Chansen' type thing where the aim is to give something another shot - whether it be a DNQ or a song that finished top 20 rather than top 5? I like the idea though. |
