On paper i like the Mick storyline, it's a great issue based storyline to tackle, but I just can't care when it's Mick AGAIN. So many characters get nothing and Danny Dyer gets everything chucked on him, ofc they had Linda's alcoholism as a family, Ollie's autism, Mick's anxiety, now this. I know the storyline makes sense with him being in care, but the secret daughter was enough without this big important storyline too. It could have been a great backstory for an underused character, but again it's the same old.

The great thing to come out of this is more Shirley. I had hoped for a bit more Tina seeing as she'll be gone soon.
Not here for Tiff being Stuart and Rainie's surrogate. It's like Kate and Jon have been watching Hollyoaks (Liberty, Sienna, Brody) so I hope it is different and Tiff doesn't plan on trying to keep the baby. Can we have an update on Sonia and her dad please x |

More Shirley is indeed a good things but I hate seeing Mick behave like an entitled man child.
I think this is one dark secret from the Carters’ past too far. |

Eek, awkward moment on Eastenders 2008 when Pat and Patrick joke about Peggy having Alzheimer’s. Very sad now.

The Tiffany/Stuart/Rainie storyline is plain weird, how many 17 year old girls get married and become surrogates I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to be 21 to be one as well At least we’ll get more Stainie (my heart at the couch scene last night ), yeah I swear all soap surrogacies end with her keeping the baby though

Not that I can believe it’s been 6 years but she really was the most useless detective.

The actress who plays Katy literally hasn’t aged since Bad Girls and she left that show in 2001!
She looks pretty much the same as she did throughout S3 of the show. |

I cannot overstate how much I LOVE Stuart and Rainie and I love the coupling of them with Tiff who is such a brilliant character. I just know something will go wrong though like Tiff getting pregnant by Keegan but passing it off as the surrogacy for the money but I’ll enjoy these characters interacting whilst it lasts.

I hope it’s not a predictable Tiffany decides she wants to keep the baby type story. Especially because realistically a couple like Stuart and Rainie are the types of people most wouldn’t want anywhere near their kids

It looks to be Keegan who will throw a spanner in the works rather than Tiff, I suppose that's an interesting angle that you don't see often. It'll be how the surrogacy affects their relationship as well, rather than Tiffany just being a plot device for Stuart and Rainie.

Catching up on last night's two episodes. "Have a baby for them? What like giving birth?". Yeah... that's the idea Keegan?
Kat and Phil scenes are such a hoot though. |
