BuzzJack Music Forum _ Reality TV _ Celebrity Big Brother ● Series 18

Posted by: Jonjo Jul 11 2016, 01:18 AM

Just thought I'd start a topic as we are likely to get rumours for the Summer series of CBB as it is apparently sometime this month! We also have a logo for it.

Lovely!

A MAJOR rumour and name being thrown around is Lil Kim! Who has supposedly bagged one of the biggest ever pays, to go in!

Posted by: Liаm Jul 12 2016, 08:16 PM

I hope that this logo being the same as the civillian one doesn't mean they have the other house division too, I feel like they might have one or two TOWIE/Geordie Shore types and bring an old fling in for some drama.

I'll post a round-up of the rumours later, some interesting ones as always!

Posted by: Liаm Jul 13 2016, 03:46 AM

Some of the rumours I could believe:

Lil' Kim (as Jonjo said! Idk I can just see this being bizarre enough to be true laugh.gif She just seems like one of those names you wouldn't make up for CBB)
Helen Lederer (PLEASE. She's a BOTS regular so she could easily be up for it I think! Just please don't be a Nadia Sawalha.)
Stephen Beach (the obligitary Ex On The Beach "star" - he's also Vicky Pattison's ex and the Vicky connection worked for Alex)
Sam Fox (seems totally believable as a washed up but known name for viewers of a certain age!)
Chloe Mafia (seems the sort of barely celeb they'd nab just for a couple of news stories)
Renee Graziano (token big US reality star - cant't see this not being true!)
Stephen & Chris (depends if they would leave Gogglebox as George had a bit of trouble because of them wanting to keep it to just "normal" people but I could see this)
Jaymi Hensley (as with Helen, a bit of a BOTS darling so I think he'd be up for it and seems like exactly the sort of young barely relevant musician to be on CBB)

The Sun reporting Katie Waissel is going in! sick2.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jul 15 2016, 01:39 AM

YES PLEASE

Posted by: Mack Jul 15 2016, 06:27 PM

Other rumours:

Spencer Matthews- Made In Chelsea star

Big Narstie- Grim artist appeared on Craig David's 'When The Bassline Drops'

Lee Chapman (A Jamie Vardy looklike seriously?

Renee Graziano (Mob Wives star)

Grant Bavey (ex-husband of Anthea Turner)

Posted by: cqmerqn Jul 15 2016, 08:13 PM

Can't wait for this!!

Posted by: Cal Jul 15 2016, 10:57 PM

RENEE GRAZIANO is a f***ing hot mess waiting to happen. I dislike her immensely. I hope it's true.

Posted by: Davidson Jul 19 2016, 11:17 PM

Heard rumours of Sarah Harding going in.

Please please please let it be true.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 20 2016, 05:05 PM

Aubrey O'Day is another rumour I've heard a bit over the past few days.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 23 2016, 10:39 PM

Apparently the advert aired during BB today about a "national treasure" pertains to CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS

Oh dear god PLEASE no. He'd be a genuine series ruiner for me to the point I don't know if I could watch it.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 24 2016, 02:17 PM

The Sun who I believe are pretty reliable for CBB have said the following are doing it now:

Katie Waissel (X Factor)
Lewis Bloor (TOWIE)
Marnie Simpson (Geordie Shore)
Renee Graziano (Mob Wives)
Chloe Khan/Chloe Mafia (X Factor, general media whore)
Stephen Bear (Ex On The Beach)
Grant Bovey (Anthea Turner's ex husband)
CHRISTOPHER CUNTING BIGGINS manson.gif

I'm also sure the glamourpuss advert thing was Sam Fox. So that's most of the line-up and I'm very disappointed :/ I know I'm always over dramtic but one in particular I just think will enrage and annoy so much I'll stop watching if he's as bad as usual laugh.gif

Posted by: Ryan. Jul 24 2016, 02:22 PM

Yay for Katie as I was hoping the rumours of her in civilian BB were true at the time but I really really want the Aubrey rumour to be true, she'd definitely be the love for providing drama/hate for being a little bit mean character (depending on what side of those characters you usually fall e.g. Farrah, Jenna, Speidi, Kristina & Karissa - all the amazing female American housemates really).

The line-up doesn't really bother me, you can never really tell how a series will play out from its line-up. Usually the biggest names tend to be the most boring anyway. Admittedly the celeb status of that line-up pretty much matches that of the current civilian line-up tho heehee.gif

Posted by: Lukuzz Jul 24 2016, 09:09 PM

So it will be reality tv heavy as per, but tbh the most unknown end up being the most entertaining usually anyways so I'm not bothered who's on

His Girlfriend is Aubrey O'day who is also rumoured to being doing it so maybe there are going in together ?

Posted by: Liаm Jul 26 2016, 04:18 PM

You're right Cameron Frankie Grande was ridiculously hated in the US, he probably would have got a rare booing from the eviction audience but the eviction wasn't live although it was filmed normally, so the audience was a fake one of CBS employees. Only a few housemates ever get booed over there as opposed to everyone ever in ours but I think he'd have got it.

I pray to god he's not in it as he is one of the worst housemates of all time across UK, US and Australian series. He was self absorbed, nasty and arrogant, he genuinely believed he was more famous than Ariana and that being in BB would make that even more of a fact drama.gif

Oh for crying out loud.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 26 2016, 07:53 PM

Line-up according to Capital (and it seems right tbh):

Aubrey O'Day (Danity Kane)
Lewis Bloor (TOWIE)
Marnie Simpson (Geordie Shore)
Katie Waissel (X Factor)
Sam Fox (singer/model)
Christopher Biggins (actor)
Stephan Bear (Ex On he Beach)
Renee Graziano (Mob Wives)
Frankie Grande (Youtuber)
Chloe Khan (X Factor, interestingly the same series as Katie)
Beth Chapman (Dog The Bounty Hunter's wife)
Grant Bovey (Anthea Turner's ex husband known for an affair)
Helen Lederer (comedian/actress/QUEEN)

Not sure I can deal with Frankie AND Biggins :/ :/ :/

Posted by: Ryan. Jul 27 2016, 10:09 AM

I saw the same line-up in The Sun yesterday as well. I'm just so pleased Aubrey is in it, she's certain to ruffle a few feathers based on Celebrity Apprentice USA! I think Biggins will suffer a bit of a fall from grace Nadia Sawalha or Lionel Blair-style, I think he has a bit of a streak in him that isn't the 100% lovely happy Biggins everyone apparently loves and I can see it coming out in CBB.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 27 2016, 05:09 PM

There's a few mroe in the Daily Star who I believe usually leak the line-ups, in addition to those above we also have:

Saira Khan (TV presenter)
Colin Newell (Storage Hunters)
James Whale (radio presenter)
Ricky Norwood (Fatboy from Eastenders

Posted by: Mack Jul 27 2016, 06:42 PM

Lil Kim then? Thought she had signed up for this. I heard a rumour that Azealia Banks may go in but that wasn't probably a reliable source. No

Posted by: Davidson Jul 28 2016, 12:32 AM

I wanted Sarah Harding and Lil Kim sad.gif

Not striking me as the best line up on paper but I would rather have big characters than big names tbh so I will reserve my judgement.

Posted by: Josh. Jul 28 2016, 06:46 AM

Don't really know many of them but I think Katie Waissel will be fun laugh.gif

Marnie is good too, never been one of my faves from Geordie Shore but it's like my favourite show so it's nice seeing them go on here as well. She has to be better than Ricci, right? laugh.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jul 28 2016, 10:17 AM

Beth Chapman has already dropped out apparently due to difficulties with getting a visa.

Posted by: Davidson Jul 28 2016, 11:30 AM

Shame. Never seen her on her programme but she looked like one of the more interesting characters, the American ones always are.

Replace her with Natalie Nunn as she is always posting that she would be 100% up for going on everytime the series is on laugh.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jul 28 2016, 08:12 PM

Biggins is gonna walk the win and I already f***ing hate it.

I love Saira though so far *.*

Posted by: Brett-Butler Jul 28 2016, 08:12 PM

BIGGINS!

Posted by: Roba S Jul 28 2016, 08:15 PM

Shame about Beth not going in. I know her from the Bounty show obviously (mum watches it sometimes) and she definitely would have been potentially interesting. I reckon maybe a motherly figure as well as a great spokeswoman too.

I'm expecting Biggins to not be the national treasure that everyone thinks on here. Barely any of them remain do when they go on cbb tbh.

Posted by: Serg Mix Jul 28 2016, 08:17 PM

Oh my god Frankie is so annoying, can he walk after 2 days like Jonathan drama.gif

Posted by: Cameron Jul 28 2016, 08:18 PM

Saira to do really well please heart.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jul 28 2016, 08:18 PM

Of all the hundreds of people I've seen in probably around 40 series of Big Brother I've seen from the UK, US and Australia, Frankie was one of the absolute worst so I don't expect him to be much different on here...

Posted by: Cameron Jul 28 2016, 08:23 PM

I can't see Ricky doing any better than Cheryl Ferguson

Posted by: JosephStyles Jul 28 2016, 08:24 PM

LOVE Biggins, Saira and Fatboy so far. The less said about Frankie, the better.

Posted by: Serg Mix Jul 28 2016, 08:28 PM

Renee wub.gif

I love her.

Posted by: Cameron Jul 28 2016, 08:32 PM

Ew, Marnie

Posted by: Josh. Jul 28 2016, 08:34 PM

Marnie doesn't really have the same charm as Charlotte, Vicky or Scott. I do like her on GS but she's not one of my favourites. I'd hate for her to be disliked on the show though as she is still likeable I think.

Posted by: Serg Mix Jul 28 2016, 08:35 PM

Marnie is a try hard. drama.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jul 28 2016, 08:37 PM

I'm just fed of having to have Geordie Shore on everything just because Vicky won I'm A Celeb laugh.gif Like even Alex on Civillian Big Brother, also Scotty on CBB obviously. I've never seen GS but I can't see Marnie being on the level of Vicky.

Posted by: Serg Mix Jul 28 2016, 08:53 PM

Ew, don't like this guy.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 28 2016, 09:00 PM

It's really embarrassing that everyone with a vague connection with Vicky Pattison are coming out of the woodwork and would sell their own mother fora bit of airtime off her back since she won IAC drama.gif

Posted by: Cameron Jul 28 2016, 09:02 PM

omg

Posted by: Serg Mix Jul 28 2016, 09:03 PM

oh my god Katie sad.gif

Posted by: Liаm Jul 28 2016, 09:07 PM

I actually love Katie from that, I think she could be a real surprise and do well by turning around what the public thought of her! That or she'll totally ruin it like Chloe Jasmine laugh.gif

Can they please stop casting carbon copies of all these British reality TV bellends, he's basically the same as Stephen? :/

Posted by: Cameron Jul 28 2016, 09:09 PM

He's 26 now, did you know that?

Posted by: Kye Jul 28 2016, 09:14 PM

Aubrey O'Day was amazing on Celebrity Apprentice so I can't wait to see what she brings wub.gif love her.

I hate all these male reality TV clones.. IQ of 15, good body, love themselves and a 'ladies man'. Boring, get off!

I hope to god he does a Leslie Jordan from the other year, it goes to his head and it goes tits up and he's evicted like 3rd.

Posted by: Froot. Jul 28 2016, 10:11 PM

The line-up started off so well (apart from Frankie) but the latter half were a bit disappointing. I'm excited for Biggins, Aubrey, Katie, Ricky, Marine & Sam and I'm interested to see what Renee is like. I don't know how Saira will be, I think she's a bit annoying in heavy doses so having her on every night will probably be a bit too much. Yawn at 'Bear', Lewis & Grant. WTF at Heavy D & Chloe (surely two of the least famous housemates ever). And just a big fat NO at Frankie. I had been preparing for Frankie to be appearing in BB US All Stars whenever that will happen but having to put up with him every day for the next few weeks, I'm going to cry.

Also, Arron from BB13 has changed his name to Sebastian Grace and was in the audience tonight supporting Renee!!! laugh.gif

Katie, Aubrey, Chloe and Frankie are my initial faves. I don't get the hate for Frankie, I've always thought he was unintentionally hilarious laugh.gif

Not many I hate either, Biggins is overrated as f*** though. James is obviously disgusting too, so he'll probably do well.l

Posted by: JosephStyles Jul 28 2016, 10:37 PM

I totally get the Frankie hate having watched him on BB US, very self-absored and fame hungry. Irritating. Not actually the worst of the bunch though, a big fat NO at Bear and James.

Biggins and Katie are my initial faves and BOOM to become the new SHOWBIZ please *.*

Posted by: Jack Jul 28 2016, 10:38 PM

I watched BB US and I liked him, but each to their own.

Posted by: Roba S Jul 28 2016, 10:45 PM

Quite a decent set of housemates. Katie is my solid main favourite. Always liked her even on X Factor (found the backlash she received really uncalled for) but she's shown herself to be a down to earth girl from her first few minutes and hope that doesn't Change. Also love everyone up to 9. Frankie is really cringe worthy but he does have potential to be a "hate him but I can't help but find him great tv" tbh. I hope Chloe can avoid being the inevitable first evictee sad.gif as she comes across very sweet.

Posted by: JosephStyles Jul 28 2016, 10:46 PM

(re. Frankie) I just personally don't find him entertaining because he's so self-centred and I get the impression that he has a high opinion of himself drama.gif

Posted by: pippa Jul 29 2016, 12:59 PM

I will make an early prediction gamble and say the final 3 will be Biggins, Ricky and Samantha.

I have a sense Biggins will win as he has a big enough following but i dont want him win. That said, if he entertains me enough over the coming weeks my opinion may well change.

Posted by: HausofKubrick Jul 29 2016, 01:15 PM

Last night wasn't the best live launch but it was decent enough. Katie and Aubrey are my initial favourites, I really think this could be a big turn around for Katie. The last anyone saw of her she was public enemy #1 so it can surely only get better now? She seems much more confident and aware of herself now too!

I am confused as to why the crowd were so... nice last night mellow.gif where we're the boos? (I'm not complaining just genuinely baffled)

Posted by: Froot. Jul 29 2016, 10:21 PM

I'm never normally a fan of the summer CBBs for some reason but I have a good feeling about this one. It was a very exciting episode tonight despite it just being the first night where nothing normally happens. I think there's a lot of interesting dynamics that will develop.

Hopefully it can be 3/3 great series for this year as the other two have been some of the best of the last few years!

Posted by: cqmerqn Jul 29 2016, 10:35 PM

May I just add that JAYNE is a panellist on BOTS this Monday!!!!!!

Posted by: Kye Jul 29 2016, 10:43 PM

Saira Khan's already getting on my nerves.
She has this tone in her voice where she makes it sound like she's addressing them rather than talking to them.
Good on her for getting nominated, though.. even if she sunk to the lowest of the lows and played on missing her kids.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 30 2016, 01:08 AM

She's definitely quickly moving towards Nadia Sawalha territory, I thought she'd maybe last a bit longer before she dd but evidently not laugh.gif I mean obviously it's just the first day we've seen but it's not a great sign if she's already like this, rather than it being the result of gradually being worn down by the madhouse.

Posted by: Aaron. Jul 30 2016, 01:44 AM

Saira is insufferable. She's here to discuss taboo subjects like Politics and Sex.. but the second Marnie starts talking about anything sexual she looks someone slapped her across the face with a dead fish? Get lost.

Posted by: Jack Jul 30 2016, 08:34 AM

Saira is even more annoying than Nadia I'd say! Saira is so self righteous and up herself.

My early faves are Frankie, Chloe and Renee at this point.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 30 2016, 08:38 PM

God Bear is an idiot. He's my least favourite at this point but I know the public will lap him up.

And I know we can't see what they see but he's so much more insufferable than Lewis seems to be?

Posted by: Aaron. Jul 31 2016, 05:37 AM

The men seem very bitchy this year. Well, I guess more so Bear and Lewis. Even more so than Frankie.
Also, why am I being subjected to seeing Frankie's ass? What did that bring to the conversation.

RENEE IS LIFE. I've never seen Mob Wives, but I could just hear her talk about the Mob, Rehab or a random Surgery all day. I think she's fascinating. I really hope she can become a crowd favorite.

Posted by: Liаm Jul 31 2016, 11:54 AM

Like I've said the male cast is generally just terrible laugh.gif They're all either irritating to the point where if there's too many of left and not enough of the interesting female characters left later in the series this will be impossible to keep watching.... Bear is my least fave as I said but I'm SO sick of Biggins. So many of the really interesting and lovely ones like Kaite, Aubrey and Sam aren't being shown enough because Biggins can't shut up for 5 minutes and we have to watch Bear moaning about everyone. Plus Saira ofc. It's only the first couple of days so I'm thinking maybe some of them just aren't coming out of their shells yet. Compared to Bear and Biggins I don't find Frankie *that* bad yet, compared to the stuff he was saying in BB16. He's obviously still annoying and self centred though. I know I, like most of Buzzjack, usually prefer the females but this imbalance is ridiculous :/

Posted by: Jack Jul 31 2016, 09:16 PM

Marnie is one of my worst alongside Bear and Heavy D. I'm not particularly a fan of Saira but she does speak sense at some times.

I just wish we saw more of Frankie, Katie, Aubrey and Renee. Especially as they were the ones I was most excited for sad.gif.

Also why is Bit On The Side so f***ing TERRIBLE?! I don't want to hear about Mark Byron and his incorrect opinions or Dan Wooten, and I have no idea why they focus on the tv audience so much either, no one gives a flying f***?!

Posted by: Kye Jul 31 2016, 10:53 PM

Saira's no angel (and I kinda think she knows what she's doing for air time) but she didn't deserve the treatment that she got tonight.
Four of them shouting their same opinion at her because god forbid she asks them questions they don't have the intellect to answer.
And then Marnie was so, so out of order for what she did tonight. If that was Bear that dropped his trousers and waved his d!ck in her face, he'd have been evicted!

I just absolutely despair at the 'Geordie Shore' generation of people who think getting naked and being crass is the funniest thing ever.
I've never actually seen the show but every person on that show seems to be morally devoid and utterly classless, this Marnie character being the perfect example.

And Heavy D is just embarrassing himself. He's what.. mid-thirties? And he's acting like a 25 year old, wanting to sit with the 'cool kids'. Ugh, idiot.

I love Renee's top 6 wub.gif

Can't stand Bear & Sairah at all.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 1 2016, 12:12 AM

Marnie's apology was fine and I think she spoke sense but there was really no need to flash her tits... I really don't think Saira is that bad laugh.gif She has a bit of a condescending way of speaking to people and is quite annoying though so I think she'd drive me mad to live with. But she is actually right a lot of time, it's just that she isn't that good at putting her point across in a nice way. I think becasue she was put in the house off the back of some of her outspoken views, she is using that as a way to get airtime I agree, but anybody would probably try that really laugh.gif Like I said I don't think she means to be horrible to people or make them feel uncomfortable, she just doesn't really have a filter, and seems to forget that some people do and might not be as comfortable as her to talk about anything and everything in such a blase way. One thing's for sure she's earning her paycheck biggrin.gif

Heavy D and Bear are my two worst for sure, Heavy D is just an utter idiot and totally embarrassing and Bear is way too full of himself too. Really not a fan of Biggins either but I feel like that's total biased because I've always found him insufferable. Frankie surprisingly isn't too bad given how utterly awful (like one of the worst of all time) he was on BBUS but I think he probably knows what he's doing and has toned himself down etc. in accordance with being on a different format in a different country.

This series is an odd one, I feel like it was so promising at first but I'm already a bit tired of it laugh.gif Like with the Secret Boss thing going on, it felt like Biggins had all the airtime that wasn't taken up by Saira, Bear or Marnie, and like I've said the male cast is utterly horrendous but a lot of the females seem like ones I'll like but who'll go early. I can see this being like the 2014 summer series, although NOTHING can be as bad as that so maybe not. I bloody hope not. The only redeeming thing that series when Dee went downhill by like week 2 was Frenchy and she didn't even last much longer than that. This series they need to start showing more of them not just the same few, because it's like in the summer 2014 series where the ENTIRE series seemed to centre around bloody Gary Busey and it was so tiring. Housemates I think could have been good like Lauren and Edele got virtually no airtime in favour of the same old shit and I feel like this could happen to the likes of Sam and Aubrey this time.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 1 2016, 08:33 PM

The way the young ones (and Heavy D) were with James today they reminded me of the ones who fail everything at the back of the class winding up the poor supply teacher until she cries. Bear has to be, and I know I say this all the time but it's always a heat of the moment thing and they seem worse right when you're suffering them, one of the worst housemates I can remember. Literally every second he's on screen since his VT I'm mentally (or actually, sometimes) shouting what a dick he is.

And that bisexuality comment just there is why I hate Biggins. He has awful views on LGBT issues (he also rubbished gay marriage, and not in a "I personally won't get married" way, it was "marriage is for straight couples) but oh no GOD FORBID he's a national treasure it's ok for him to say that x

Posted by: Froot. Aug 1 2016, 09:07 PM

This series has very much nose-dived very quickly! Was the requirement this time for the celebs to have less than 10 brain cells?

The trio of Bear, Heavy and Lewis is HORRIFIC. Bring back the young guys with no personality, all is forgiven!!1! Really not warming to Marnie either after the incident and the way she handled it in tonight's episode. Shoving your tits in someone's face is not breaking the ice. All four of them are bordering on bullying: 'choose a new victim'. It's very sad to watch Grant, trying to pretend he is younger than he is. Not that he should have to share the views of the older people just because of his age but he seems to be doing it to try and fit in. Then the fact he seemed to have genuinely fallen for Marnie is a bit... :/

I want to see more of Aubrey/Renee and less of the bully clique!

Posted by: Froot. Aug 1 2016, 09:12 PM

Also, it's annoying that they've disregarded their usual nomination strategy of trying to get more than 2 people up so that they can save Bear & Marnie and get rid of an older housemate!

Posted by: JosephStyles Aug 1 2016, 09:19 PM

See I feel like Lewis has potential away from Bear/Heavy D and the showmance with Marnie, but I just know he's not gonna separate himself drama.gif He's had a few nice moments where he's shown himself to actually have a few brain cells, but the incidents with the "bully clique" as you put it Froot just undoes it all sad.gif

THIS!!

I was revelling in the fact that Bear was going to have his smug grin wiped off his face and it's just the two oldies!
Can't say I'm surprised because they know their audience is made up of a lot of Geordie Shore/Ex On The Beach viewers who will watch it for them.

I'm appalled that Big Brother hasn't cautioned Marnie and tell her that her behaviour is unacceptable.
And Lewis 'choosing their next victim'.. Figure of speech or not, it's clear that he meant that and they'd conspired to go for James next.

Grant is just embarrassing himself, it's actually really cringe. Like, as if you ever stood a chance with Marnie?! Get a grip of yourself.

I'm really sad that we're not seeing much of the American housemates and instead they're favouring the bullies.. as per.

It makes me feel physically sick of Grant trying to woo Marnie.

I agree,Marnie should have received a warning for what she did if it was a man did it they be kicked out a la Aaron Frew from Big Brother 16.

Put £1 on James to win at 22/1 earlier and tonight's episode could well be the sort of catalyst to do that.

Posted by: Hazza Chapman Aug 1 2016, 10:56 PM

I hope Marnie doesn't win but Geordie Shore people always seem to win these type of shows. I don't see the hype with her tbh, she's not that attractive in my opinion and I don't think she will bring a massive amount of entertainment either.

It really feels like Viacom are running with the fact they can use CBB as a vehicle for their Ex On The Beach and Geordie Shore "stars" or to promote said shows. Ex On The Beach starts a new series in a couple of a weeks so it feels a bit convenient. It'd be fine if they always did 2 up but it's not been that way since the 2012 civillian series. For some reason it was the norm then but since then we've only had Ryan vs. Sam in the Rylan CBB series and Joel vs. Eileen in Power Trip, but that was because of Jack using his immunity pass so technically those three were nominated for eviction not the two. So it really does feel tailored to their agenda of protecting the young reality stars, it's sad we have to be this cynical about BB all time laugh.gif The stupidest thing is, it's not as if Bear/Marnie/Lewis would even go in a vote to save so I have no idea why they had to fix it this way anyway :/

Also I agree with Rob, I'm getting slight Gary Busey teas. Right now, Biggins is nearly odds on with Sam and Marnie next around 7/1 drama.gif But give James a Gary Busey sort of storyline and he could easily do it. I really hope not though because as I've said, that series is my least favourite of any BB I've seen and I don't want a rehash.

Posted by: Davidson Aug 1 2016, 11:46 PM

Really finding it hard to take to this series at all.

The Bear, Marnie, Heavy D and Lewis clique is disgusting, they are just antagonising the housemates they don't like and passing it off as a joke. Really horrible stuff.

I'm finding it hard to like the others either. The American's aren't really being very interesting apart from Renee who I have went off of after the whole bisexuality convo with Biggins. James isn't my kind of person, Grant is embarrassing, Chloe, Ricky and Katie have been dull as dish washer. Probably leaves Siara as my fav by default despite her being massively irritating and patronising at times; I do also find her the most human and the one who speaks the most sense as well though.

Posted by: Serg Mix Aug 2 2016, 03:52 AM

Ricky is invisible in this house biggrin.gif

Posted by: Jack Aug 2 2016, 06:44 AM

Just put Tiffany Pollard back in the house tbh.

Posted by: pippa Aug 2 2016, 01:53 PM

I cant stand Bear, he comes across as horrible trouble making bully and represents everything that is wrong with society. I am surprised by how background material Ricky is, i expected him to be more of a front runner.

I really like James and i dont know why, he has that something and i think if he remains he will go on to surprise everyone. Grant Bovey can go, he is coming across as pathetic with Marnie, he went into Big brother to try and get people to change their opinion of him and within 3 days he is chasing a girl the same age as his daughter, in my opinion its pathetic.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 2 2016, 08:27 PM

I'm really not sure I can watch this anymore. Bear, Heavy D etc are just vile, they're reminding me of the idiots at my secondary school who bullied me when i wasin year 7-9ish... Winding people up until the point of frustration and then just laughing and laughing at it when they react. They need to grow up and learn some respect.

Posted by: Mack Aug 2 2016, 08:57 PM

Dumb, dumber, and dumberer all Lewis, Bear & Heavy D. A bunch of wind-up merchants.

Posted by: Kye Aug 2 2016, 09:13 PM

I'm watching on catch-up so only on the first 10 minutes but have the housemates gone DEAF?!

Bear was one of the people talking about nominations and nobody says a word to him??
Lewis gets on his high horse about them discussing nominations.. he's sat next to one of the rule breakers?!?!

I'm with Liam.. I don't think I can watch this anymore.

Posted by: Froot. Aug 2 2016, 10:11 PM

This series has become so unbearable to watch, I really can't believe it's not even been a week yet. I genuinely don't know if I can continue watching whilst Bear and Heavy are still in there. Tonight's episode was one of the rare occasions where I've felt so uncomfortable watching the show to the point I'm wishing for it to be over.

The biggest shame for me is that I think it could be a REALLY interesting house without those two in it. There's so many people in there with big personalities that we're just not being given a chance to see because they're being drowned out by two of the most arrogant and self-centered people ever.

SUCH a shame after the other two series we've had this year have been my two favourites in recent years. This is very quickly heading towards being my least favourite ever.

Hopefully, this all becomes hyperbole with hindsight though and they either leave or it calms down.

Posted by: Kye Aug 2 2016, 10:30 PM

There is a glimmer of hope because Marnie/Lewis look like they could turn on Bear if he carries on the way he does.
Marnie was quick to point out that she knows what he's like..

Posted by: Serg Mix Aug 3 2016, 01:55 AM

I'm totally wrong for thinking Sairah was bad. She's not that good, but she's better than half of the house.

Bear & Heavy D are absolutely unbearable drama.gif
Heavy is so immature, like so annoying. He just laughs and asslicks Bear rolleyes.gif

Please more of Aubrey, Katie & Frankie! We want to see them wub.gif

Posted by: Liаm Aug 3 2016, 02:17 AM

See I dont't think Marnie and Lewis are bad people so I think there is hope for this series. I think they got a bit swept up in the crowd and joined in with the wrong things, but they do seem to realise when things go too far (Marnie did apologise to Saira even if she botched it by getting her boobs out laugh.gif). I can't say I'll enjoy their obviously engineered romance very much but it's a better alternative to what we have atm... I just hope that they hurry up in standing up to Bear and Heavy D. I know I end up saying this with someone or another every series, but Bear and Heavy D have to be two of the worst celeb housemates ever - never before have I wanted to turn off a WEEK into a series and it's all because of them :/ The last series I enjoyed a series this little was the Gary Busey series but even that lasted a couple of weeks! And it's only because of those two idiots, it's just enraging as soon as they get any airtime. I hope they kick one of them out or one gets evicted 2nd because I can't tolerate them much longer. I'd like to say the producers could just even out the airitme a bit but that won't happen - as long as they're being like this it'll be the main storyline.

I agree though, it's frustrating more than anything because we have potentially really good housemates in almost ALL the others, ruined by those two taking up all the airtime. I actually think Saira is one of my favourites now. I mean she can be awful in the way she puts things across but I don't think she's nasty at all. Like I said before I think she's just nosy, perhaps a bit too opinionated and doesn't always know how to adapt her approach to different people, she just assumes everyone can take her as she is and that's sadly not the case tongue.gif But she speaks more sense than a lot of them fundamentally regardless of her flaws in communicating said sense!

Posted by: Jack Aug 3 2016, 09:49 AM

It's weird to me, because from the line up alone I thought it was going to be such a good series! sad.gif

Posted by: pippa Aug 3 2016, 01:16 PM

Bear needs to go. The problem at the moment is its messy, the bonds haven't fully formed yet, most are looking for air time, i think when it settles a little bit more we may get a good show. Ite enjoyable at the moment but certainly not unmissable.

Posted by: Davidson Aug 3 2016, 04:08 PM

This series is horrid so far.

I cannot stand Bear, Heavy and Lewis. The whole argument last night and the whole idea of "calling dibs" on a woman is horrifying and so uncomfortable to watch. The horrific product of lad culture today. To see both Marnie and Chloe sit there and somewhat take what was going on on the chin was dumbfounding.

Also very disappointing to see all the American housemates side with the idiots and ally themselves with the vile characters. There is no-one to root for in there at all.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 3 2016, 09:16 PM

Yes Aubrey shouldn't have done that, it's vile, but I don't get how precious national treasure Biggins (and Renee) being biphobic is fine, Heavy D/Bear pushing people to frustration is fine, Marnie flashing her tits is fine, but this is a "final warning". I'm not saying Aubrey doing that isn't a vile thing to do and shouldn't have been punished but the others SHOULD have been imo.

Posted by: Kye Aug 3 2016, 09:51 PM

Are they taking the P!SS?!

Big Brother do not tolerate anything that could be considered inappropriate by housemates or the viewing public?!
MANY housemates expressed their dismay at Marnie flashing her breasts and 90 people complained to Ofcom!
She needs to be reprimanded. If I were Aubrey, I'd have spat in his face.. And get evicted, I wouldn't care laugh.gif

Posted by: pippa Aug 4 2016, 03:05 PM

As wrong as it is, Aubrey spitting in Bears Tea was the highlight of last nights show, outside of that it was highly boring.

Posted by: Mack Aug 4 2016, 08:04 PM

How the f*** with the damage Bear did on the trailer stay in the house?

Posted by: Mack Aug 4 2016, 09:00 PM

Shades of Megan there in the Diary Room. He should been have been kicked out. That was completely unacceptable behaviour from him.

Chloe Mafia was completely stupid out there with the snogging.

Bear is an complete dick.

What's warrants getting kicked out of the house, Channel 5?
Again if it was Channel 4 he would have been long gone.

Posted by: Cameron Aug 4 2016, 09:04 PM

He is a vile creature who needs to learn not to slacken his jaw when he talks. I thought I needed subtitles laugh.gif

Posted by: Liаm Aug 4 2016, 10:30 PM

I don't get how it's Chloe's fault she doesn't fancy Heavy D laugh.gif I mean bloody Helen Keller would swerve that. And people on twitter keep twisting it to be about looks, it's not even that, he could look like Lewis and he'd still be vile because of his vile personality. All she did was get drunk and kiss someone as a dare...

That "warning" was pathetic too, it felt like they were talking to a child who'd accidentally done something wrong.... Whereas Aubrey was spoken to really forcefully and it felt like a final warning, by comparison. In C4 that would have got Bear kicked out, I think they just pick and choose drama.gif I mean look at Helen cruising through being so vile, but the year before Daley got ejected for really losing his temper once. They'll want an ejection for ratings and it's really only a matter of time before Bear does something ejectable. Tbh as I said, back in the day that would have got you kicked out but they just seem to pick and choose when something is ejection worthy and when it isn't. I think they'll maybe drag it out a little more until something else really explosive happens and then eject someone. And then it'll probably end up being Renee or someone random rotf.gif

Posted by: Kye Aug 4 2016, 11:07 PM

It's outrageous what they're putting up with for the sake of ratings.
Big Brother said that they'd spoken to Bear a number of times..

I hate attention seeking little arseholes like him.. you can see, even with the edit, that everything is about him.
He left the table during the dares and came back and was like '123' as if they'd just waited for him.
Then when he went to the bedroom, everyone was having conversations with each other and he barges in and tries to make it all about him.
Heavy D was obviously hurt by what had happened and Bear aggravating him like that was not nice.. that turned very quickly.
But getting up in his personal space like that, breaking a mirror (which people were BEHIND!) and then he broke the door.. unacceptable.

It was HILARIOUS when he was acting the hard man "I'll turn this gaff over, let me out NOW" and then the security guy appeared and Bear sh@t his pants laugh.gif

It's also very telling that he has made a point about not being able to trust anyone and that's totally because he knew he's untrustworthy.
He's paranoid about being stabbed in the back because he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Just 2 days ago Heavy D was his bestie!

Posted by: Aaron. Aug 5 2016, 12:15 AM

This season is just a mess.
I'm glad we're finally seeing some stuff from Aubrey. Her giggling and clapping her hands during the Bear/Heavy D fight was hilarious.
I feel like this Bear/Chloe storyline just came straight outta no where. You've never seen them speak before and now all of a sudden they're making out.

They should just rename the series Bear and Friends. Every single thing revolves around him.
Fully expecting a Bear/Chloe or Bear/Chloe/Heavy D nomination next week. Sad thing is Bear will survive a vote to save.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 5 2016, 12:27 AM

At this rate he'll be ejected by then and we won't have to worry rotf.gif

I am sure Bear & Heavy D will go up for next eviction and hopefully one of them leaves.

This is so funny.

I've never seen these Made in Chelsea/Geordie Shore/Ex on the Beach/Love Island/TOWIE ECT ECT ECT Shows..
But..
Should it come down to say, Lewis/Bear/Marnie.. who would be the winner? Who's more popular outside?
I only ask because Scottie T literally did sweet f*** all last year, but secured the win. Not sure if it's relevant in this case because I see what you're saying. Bear is currently OTT where he could just walk with it at this point.
The only one that I've heard of is Marnie (from this grouping of "Celebrities")

Posted by: Jack Aug 5 2016, 02:21 PM

Marnie is easily the most popular and has the biggest following, all Geordie Shore people have a really strange large following.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 5 2016, 03:14 PM

I think Marnie is our best chance for a non Biggins winner, unless James gets a Gary Busey edit but the heat seems to be off him in that way because there are so many conflicts and heated dramas, it's not like the Gary series where it was all on Gary. I still think Bear will get ejected but I worry he could do a Helen.

In the civillian series yes as that's vote to evict, I just worry it'll be impossible to shake him with vote to save. In a vote to save it's kind of a "there's no such thing as bad publicity" situation. When you're pretty much the whole series like Bear, airtime just equals votes. At the very least he'll be a Farrah Abraham sort of figure, where nobody seems to like him but he keeps getting the votes to stay for a few evictions. He certainly won't go yet, I'm thinking maybe Aubrey or Heavy D next.

In a vote to evict though it'd be nearly certain really. That's why at times I prefer vote to evict, but at other times really good strong characters fall foul of it so I'm iffy on both types of voting. As a rule of thumb you can't trust the British public though laugh.gif

Posted by: Froot. Aug 5 2016, 10:44 PM

With Biggins gone, I think there is a lack of an 'obvious' winner. None of the reality stars are the big names of their own series. Marnie probably has the biggest chance but she's not as big a name as Charlotte/Scotty T/Vicky. Gaz is the only other Geordie Shore name on the same level as those three winners but Marnie does still have a good chance.

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 6 2016, 05:04 PM

If I were forced to say a winner at this point I'd probably go with James Whale even tho he's not one of the 5 "runaway" favourites at the moment (Ricky, Sam, Marnie, Frankie and Bear). I could see Frankie being a potential winner though if he becomes a little more prominent.

Posted by: Hazza Chapman Aug 7 2016, 12:05 PM

I'd love to see Ricky and Bear have an argument, Fatboy going in on Bear would be entertaining to watch!

Posted by: Liаm Aug 7 2016, 04:27 PM

Caught up with last night and Biggins' comment was vile. Like I've said I'm not even that surprised, he's always saying shit like that about LGBT communities etc., and it sounds like he's said other things (I feel like the Nazi comment must have been really bad for them not to air it :/). To be fair they seem to be being lenient with warnings but if he's just gone and said that after being warned then he deserves ejection. I'm sick and tired of all the people on Twitter etc defending it with "he's a national treasure!!1111!" - what on earth has he done with his career for that title? :/ Even if he had done all that, nothing excuses him saying that. His stature with the viewing public is astoundingly undeserved :/ And yes, BB has been more than lenient with other housemates such as Bear but that doesn't mean Biggins is allowed to say these things.

I feel more and more like Bear will win drama.gif The idiotic British public will be like "but he's entertaining he winds everyone up!!11!", he'll survive every eviction and the final will be all more subdued or quiet housemates and he'll get all the votes. With him it kind of sums up the double standards between men and women on Big Brother, because Stephanie Davis got shot down in flames when I actually think she did fall for Jeremy, and you can't help what happens with your heart really, but he's necking on with Chloe because he'd do anything for airtime despite being with someone outside, it's just another thing he's using to get "15 more seconds" as Renee put it. Aubrey has him nailed - he has no respect, compassion or understanding for others and how they may feel as a result of his actions.

Katie did my head in too, how is trying to cop out with "you wanted to play the game" "telling the truth"? laugh.gif I did think she came across as a little fake there, there are many many reasons to select Bear that aren't cop outs like that... Lewis also, his arrogance was ridiculous when he said he'd get involved with every argument because he's the biggest and strongest :/ Is that not kind of implying physical violence? laugh.gif

Posted by: JosephStyles Aug 7 2016, 04:59 PM

I liked Biggins for most of his time in the house, but his comments were totally unacceptable and he had to go with the accumulation of them for sure. It's strange because he's the one with the most to lose I'd say, being a national treasure (which he totally is, and probably will continue to be, I know I find him pretty hilarious a lot of the time). I'd like to see him issue an apology for his words but sadly I'm not sure that's coming, we'll see how this affects his status I guess.

I think I've exhausted all my negative adjectives for Bear by now lol. Yay at him getting eternal nomination but eww at how he took it. He is just ghastly.

What was with no warning for Heavy D for raised fists?

Posted by: Steve201 Aug 7 2016, 09:57 PM

Was a ridiculous arguement fueled by alcohol (as usual) and it arose because of the nomination announcements!

Posted by: Jack Aug 7 2016, 10:19 PM

Marnie, Lewis, Bear and Saira are all awful awful people.

Renee, Aubrey and Frankie are my faves by far. I actually want Heavy D to stay the most out of who's nominated, whoever would've thought!

Posted by: Kye Aug 8 2016, 01:10 AM

Aubrey is like the actual commentator.. I'm so glad she's seeing how sh*t is going down.

Posted by: Serg Mix Aug 8 2016, 04:07 AM

Lewis & Marnie as just as nasty and vile as Bear.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 8 2016, 01:39 PM

Oh my, Biggins other comment was "You better be careful or they'll be putting you in a shower and taking you to a room" to Katie.... She is Jewish :/

They've had 90 complaints about him being removed :/ I'm sorry but saying stuff like that, it is justified, whether BB are being lenient to others or not. I do agree that Bear at least should have been removed by now but that doesn't mean Biggins shouldn't have been.

Posted by: pippa Aug 8 2016, 04:34 PM

Biggins comments were uncalled for and i can see why they felt they needed to remove him from the house. That said, how they have not removed Bear from the house is absolutely baffling.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 8 2016, 05:29 PM

God Lewis is such an idiot laugh.gif I can't stand when housemates won't take being nominated. He seems to have such a high opinion of himself that he thinks he is only nomianted because of Bear... I mean yes a lot of it is TO DO with Bear but it's not Bear's fault that Lewis is being such an idiot, condoning everything he's doing to wind up most of the house. And he's acting really old fashioned towards gender, it's like "poor Marnie can't stick up for herself" and just gets involved in every little thing about her. "I've got a bird" well done babe, typical TOWIE alumni measuring self worth on whether you have a relationship...

Saira is also really disappointing, I feel like she *wants* to be hated, aligning with those up for nomination or causing the most furore within the house when she hated them mere days ago laugh.gif It's like she's deliberately siding with the house underdogs as if to act as some sort of perennial social justice warrior.

I still bloody hate Heavy D though. One of the most annoying people I've ever seen on this show, he just can't really put his point across well and comes across as really really immature and dumb, not that Lewis should have acted like that but it was a bit of wine at the end of the day and he was spoiling for a fight a bit, stirring things up, but Lewis shouldn't have acted like such a twat over it if he thought it was that stupid and trivial....

Because he's from Viacom kink.gif

THAT BALLOON TASK *.*
Brilliant.
The best moment of that episode was Siara holding Heavy D's balloon hostage while she continued to grill him on the pronunciation of her name, knowing full well she would never pop his balloon. Mastermind. Pure Mastermind.

Renee locking herself in the room while taking the opportunity to verbally assault Bear was also brilliant.

I don't really care that we didn't even get to see the party. The rest of the episode was brilliant.. outside of the Lewis/Marnie shower and Bear bending Chloe over the bathroom sink.

Posted by: pippa Aug 9 2016, 01:16 PM

I really enjoyed the balloon task, i found it extremely funny when Siara burst Sam's balloon, it was certainly a re-wing moment. I am starting to hate Bear more and more with each episode, i find him horrific and he is dominating the show which is not a good thing for me. In fact he is making me want to switch off.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 9 2016, 08:40 PM

I really don't think I can watch until Heavy D goes. Bear is one thing but he's just thick as pig shit and it's so bloody annoying and unwatchable when he just laughs at everyone and can't at all carry himself in any form of social interaction.

I'm going to have to record and FF I think or not watch at all laugh.gif

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 9 2016, 08:59 PM

Awful twist, Bear will obviously nominate Aubrey and she is all but gone unless someone quiet and without a fanbase like Katie or Chloe ends up nominated with her.

Yep definitely. This just feels like another thing tailored towards Bear... Get one of the few out who'd stand up to him properly.

Posted by: JosephStyles Aug 9 2016, 09:11 PM

This series is absolutely dire lmao. Only watching out of habit cause I have nothing better to do sad.gif

Posted by: Serg Mix Aug 9 2016, 09:59 PM

They put this twist just so the bully clique can survive another week.

Posted by: Kye Aug 9 2016, 10:20 PM

I hate when they give nasty, deceitful people power.. It's not a reflection on who the house would like rid of at all.
This and Bear surviving tonight's eviction will make him think he's invincible.. It will become unbearable.
I know this holds no bearing but I think if we lose someone like Aubrey next then I'll stop watching. I can't handle how they're manufacturing the house to enable people associated with the production company to last longer.
It might sound dramatic but I wish Ofcom would investigate because it's genuinely not a fair game. C5 will pick a winner, not the public.

I also recently learned that Marnie & Lewis have the same manager so this 'romance' is totally tailored. Not that we didn't already know that.

Posted by: Jack Aug 9 2016, 10:29 PM

C5 love the nasty disgusting people for some reason, Helen, Farrah, Marc, Jason, Stephanie... the list goes on! It makes for difficult viewing. I'd genuinely rather a series full of FUN rather than forced drama and people being disgusting human beings tbh. But that might just be me???

Posted by: Kye Aug 9 2016, 10:34 PM

It's not just you, I feel the same. Obviously I love a bit of a drama but none of this manufactured BS that they're putting on this series.

I genuinely think that out of the last 5/6 CBB's I've watched, this has been the worst.
There's just so many unlikable characters getting all of the screen time, it's not an easy watch.

Posted by: Jack Aug 9 2016, 10:59 PM

Yeah I agree and it's not even like the others are boring or wouldn't be fun to watch . I'd love to be able to see more of Frankie, Renee, Aubrey and even Katie! But it's going to focus on the showmance and Bear til it ends and that is so ridiculously boring to me, enough to make me want to switch off.

I'd love to see more of all of those that you said. When they show the conversations that Renee has, she's amazing wub.gif

I get really angry watching the episodes when nobody retaliates to Bear's behaviour. Like, I understand they're taking the high road and ignoring him.
But if he came out and pretended to trip up and waste the eggs, I would bide my time and then purposefully trip him up later and be like "omg you and your ankles! what are you like!"
Maybe I'm just passive aggressive laugh.gif

Posted by: Liаm Aug 10 2016, 12:49 AM

I guess reacting to him would just make him even worse, if that's possible laugh.gif He's like this without much of a reaction, imagine how he'd be if they really rose to it! I mean Renee kind of has, Frankie, and Ricky certainly will before long.

I am EXACTLY the same laugh.gif If I was at uni I wouldn't but because I'm at home just in most nights I will. But the rate it's going I still will give up drama.gif Like Jack said, it's actually a really good line-up if you take out Marnie, Bear, Lewis and Heavy D but they're the ones getting virtually ALL the airtime, Saira was the only one who also got a look in but she's gone now so it will only be worse laugh.gif Even when anyone outside that does get airtime, it still seems to be about Bear.

I did end up turning off the Gary Busey series but this is heading towards being as bad as that one, although in that one there was only Frenchy and Edele I liked whereas in this I actually like everyone outside of the aforementioned four (I mean James isn't that bad even just dull af). So it's a real dilemma but at the end of the day if I wanted to watch a fake blossoming relationship between two trashy reality "stars" I'd watch Ex On The Beach or TOWIE. I really can't see anyone who isn't Marnie or Bear winning :/

Posted by: pippa Aug 10 2016, 03:30 PM

I remain disappointed in the viewers not voting Bear out. He is just a bully and loves making everyone feel as uncomfortable as possible which is a horrid trait in any one.

Posted by: Hazza Chapman Aug 10 2016, 04:34 PM

I was hoping Lewis would get voted out yesterday because he is boring and I don't think he will become more entertaining anytime soon. He shouldn't even be in there at all, people use the term "celebrity" so loosely these days.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 10 2016, 09:39 PM

I recorded and watched the show afterwards, started at 10 past and finished a couple of mminutes ago drama.gif Who on EARTH wants to watch shower sex, turgid relationship dilemmas and Heavy D/Chloe struggling to form coherent sentences for an hour?

Posted by: Mack Aug 10 2016, 10:05 PM

People who regard them as idols.
The worst BB episode ever. The four of them are as thick as shit, Bear,Lewis, Marnie and Chloe who is allegedly married. This series is the worst and could be the death knell for Celebrity Big Brother. Some elements would be shown on a 900 channel on Sky in this show. It'll be interesting to see the viewers now. This is disgusting to watch. If there was an mass walkout then you can't really blame. James, Katie, Sam, Frankie, Ricky.
I believe at the beginning of the series, Frankie was considered to be the most annoying going into the house. He's done nothing wrong compared to the 4 prats and Heavy D

Posted by: Liаm Aug 10 2016, 11:15 PM

Yep I really expected Frankie to be the villian of the series!! On the American BB he was incredibly self centred, nasty (he made rape jokes about a girl, told another to kill herself) and just generally horribly annoying. But he's fine here, he may have been playing it up on that version or he may realise he has to really tone himself down onthis one, but whichever way from being the one I was dreading the most alongside Biggins he's actually gone into my top 3 because he's funny, switched on and everything he WASN'T in the American version tbh laugh.gif

Posted by: Hazza Chapman Aug 11 2016, 08:38 PM

Now that Chloe is up for eviction it is 100% certain that she will go tomorrow, I can't imagine anyone voting to save her apart from the people who know her personally or people who find her attractive.

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 11 2016, 08:58 PM

The only way Chloe could stay is if Emma does her usual "let's save 2 of the housemates" thing she does on a Friday, which will save Bear and Marnie. Then fans of the "squad" could keep Chloe in head-to-head battle with James. Hopefully all of the "squad" haters will already have voted to save James enough though so that Chloe can't recover the deficit.

Posted by: No Sleeep Aug 11 2016, 10:56 PM

Ughhh this has turned into the Bear show. How could it go from the best celeb series in January to this cry.gif Everytime we see anybody else it's all somehow related to the stupid 'squad'.

I usually love BOTS but even that is becoming unwatchable, they all just stick up for Bear sick2.gif

Thank god Chloe's up! But even she's the weakest link in the group, I doubt we'll notice, they'll probably just get even worse cry.gif Oh and who the hell is she to call Renee fat and ugly, has she seen her face? That ain't cute tongue.gif

Why are Renee and Aubrey the only ones who really seem to be trying to do anything about it? Katie, Frankie, Heavy D, even Ricky keep trying to make conversation with them, I doubt they'll stick with Aubrey's nomination plan (although with "killer nominations" I think BB will do whatever it take to keep them in lol).

Edit: forget it. Aubrey is looking like she's Lewis and Marnie's bff on the live feed. I feel so bad for Renee! She's the only sane person in there.

Renee has no problems with Marnie. She hates Bear. Lewis for being his minion and Chloe for being his toy. It's Aubrey that wants to get rid of them all and got the plan.

Posted by: Jack Aug 12 2016, 08:49 AM

Renee is everything right now, easily my favourite. She's funny with her arguing too unlike Bear, her Chloe impressions are giving me life!

Marnie's Bear's minion too, they all are. Didn't she join in with Bear when Renee nominated Chloe? I don't think Aubrey does anymore, she was having a laugh with Lewis and Marnie on the live feed dry.gif

Tonights twist - the bottom 2 will play a game of chance

The loser gets evicted...

Chloe would've gone by default, but now that there's a 'game', James will go.

Posted by: Jack Aug 12 2016, 04:14 PM

I don't think James will be bottom two hopefully, the percentages for him on polls are crazy.

Saira was winning on polls too, but then look what happened.

Marnie has a HUGE fanbase, and that will see her have the most votes tonight. Bear will probably be second, with James and Chloe being 3rd and 4th.

The 'twist' (fix) will see James leave for sure.

Posted by: Davidson Aug 12 2016, 08:55 PM

Thank f*** for that.

I would actually love it to be Marnie that goes if its down to the wheel as I feel like this is the last time we will have the chance to get rid of her.

Posted by: Mack Aug 12 2016, 08:58 PM

At least one of the showomances won't be seen after tonight and one of the 'adult' show won't be seen after Saturday night. This is just like what Channel 5 used to show in its early days.

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 12 2016, 09:01 PM

I think I want Marnie to go out of these two, her showmance with Lewis is so unbelievably fake. That's two night-before-eviction arguments in a row now for those two to try and bag themselves some last minute airtime. I'm sure Chloe and Bear is a showmance too but they aren't really pretending to be anything substantial whereas Lewis and Marnie's "love's young dream" is just intolerable.

So Marnie to go and Chloe will be gone on Tuesday - I agree with Davidson that Marnie is more likely to escape future evictions than Chloe so it is best she goes now.

Posted by: Mack Aug 12 2016, 09:04 PM

Chloe Mafia not changed at all since her XX Factor experience in 2010. Although it's expected. She has a child does she even care that her child will see this about her in 10-15 years time. Sorry she is completely shameless.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 12 2016, 09:08 PM

Yeah definitely gunning for Marnie to go now. As a person I prefer Marnie but I agree, I just hate hate hate the fakeness. I don't want to see "Bhloe" and personally I think she's just a pawn in his game but they aren't as deliberately OTT fake as "Lewnie". Plus as has been said she'll probably be in the final otherwise whereas Chloe will go as soon as she's next up. Either way splitting up one of the showmances will be brilliant.

Posted by: cqmerqn Aug 12 2016, 09:11 PM

I'm so shocked - but hoorah!!

Marnie to go please - just so Lewis can get a heads up

Posted by: Jack Aug 12 2016, 09:20 PM

Really hoping for a Marnie eviction! Chloe is dumb and annoying but Marnie going will have more of an impact and Chloe will go next time anyway so it doesn't really matter to me.

Posted by: Kye Aug 12 2016, 09:26 PM

Marnie getting on her high horse about Aubrey talking about her and Lewis because she thought they were friends, but she nominated her?! That's two faced!

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 12 2016, 09:32 PM

I thought exactly the same! Marnie playing the innocent when she's done exactly the same rolleyes.gif

Posted by: Liаm Aug 12 2016, 09:40 PM

JAMES GOG MORE THAN BEAR OMG

But how the f*** is that "chance", like 2/11 "chance" for Marnie to go??

Posted by: Davidson Aug 12 2016, 09:42 PM

I so wanted it to land on Marnie, would have been hysterical laugh.gif

Think we will have to put up with her until the final now unfortunately.

And fantastic news at James getting the most votes! There is justice in the world.

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 12 2016, 09:46 PM

James topping the vote despite such little airtime! ohmy.gif That makes me think there is a substantial anti-squad vote that may easily transfer to Renee and/or Aubrey when they are inevitably up next week along with Marnie, Lewis and Bear (unless there are twists of course).

I wonder why Channel 5 decided to give us that information though, very unusual.

Posted by: Kye Aug 12 2016, 09:53 PM

Call me sceptical but I feel like they've told us that James topped the votes because they want the Bear brigades voters to up the ante.

I wonder if the 2% was between Bear and Marnie ohmy.gif I expect it was James and Bear but if it was the anti "squad" vote I guess he could have pulled further ahead.

I think they told us that so that there was a reason for picking a specific housemate. Emma wouldn't have been able to do it because people would have accused it of being a fix and therefore they needed a clear reason to pick a certain housemate.

Bear so close to going then though if there was 2% in it! cry.gif

So bored of hearing of Lewis & Marnie's undying love for each other when they're clearly going to come out, get any magazine deals that they can and split up over Twitter two weeks later. It's literally SO predictable, it's just incredibly dull.

I'm sure they've said the exact same stuff multiple times on their own shows.

Posted by: Jack Aug 14 2016, 10:50 AM

It reminds me of Jeremy and Stephanie all over again which was one of my worst showmances ever.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 14 2016, 11:24 AM

I liked Stephanie (oops) so I didn't mind that one so much as this one but it was tedious when it was focused a bit too much. However it was never as inescapable as Lewnie, and even individually I don't like them as opposed to only disliking Jeremy. But even with Jeremy/Steph there were still the likes of Gemma and Tiffany, even John (not that I wanted to watch him) being shown. The only respite we seem to get from Lewnie is bloody Bear who's even worse. But I never really like these showmances, even the ones that seem more real like "Jacksina". I just don't really want to watch that sort of thing, I find it so tedious to watch whether it's cringy like Lewnie or overly sexual like Bear and Chloe. But like Ryan said at least the latter weren't pretending to be something they're not. They were just kind of seeing whatever happened and going with it (I just wish "whatever happened" wasn't shown on TV..... kink.gif), whereas Lewis and Marnie are acting like they're the epitome of realtionship goals and love's young dream and nothing can come between and it's so perfect. It feels like they've just come together because they have to have someone on the go at all times, I hate the way Lewis judges worth on whether ot not you have a "bird".

Posted by: Hazza Chapman Aug 14 2016, 11:40 AM

I hope Marnie goes next, she's another person who shouldn't be labelled a "celebrity" and this fake relationship with Lewis is boring af.

Posted by: Kye Aug 15 2016, 12:38 AM

I really don't like that Bear & Co are reducing Renee to tears every day, Big Brother should really step in.

What a SNAKE James is too. Aubrey was fronting that she didn't care but that totally hurt her.. and rightfully so!
You must be bad if Bear thinks your behaviour is wrong.

I really feel like Aubrey & Renee are coming into their own, Frankie is definitely waaay behind in third in terms of US housemates.

Posted by: Froot. Aug 16 2016, 01:28 PM

I'm not sure why no one told Bear that it's not just his opinion that counts, why can't the others share their opinions. Urgh, him and Heavy D are two of the most immature housemates ever and it's horrendous to watch. I don't think anyone's been as focused on getting as much camera time as they can as Bear and we had PEREZ. I hope the other housemates continue to try their best to just ignore him when he's playing up because all he wants is a reaction.

Posted by: Jack Aug 16 2016, 02:41 PM

It actually says a lot about how disgusting we are as a country that Bear is the fave to win. The British public just shouldn't be able to make any decisions ever.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 16 2016, 02:58 PM

Renee is actually the most popular pick to stay on Facebook and Twitter tonight - she's ahead of Bear on both wub.gif

Facebook (likes/hearts/angry):
Renee (2.1k/135/32)
Bear (1.3k/93/63)
Lewis (561/17/39)
Heavy D (232/8/56)

Twitter (retweets/likes):

Renee (232/144)
Bear (140/86)
Lewis (82/61)
Heavy D (27/27)

Obviously thrse aren't the gospel but it's encouraging and seems like the casual viewers are getting behind Renee rather than her just being a BB stan fave. She's really come into her own and she's sort of reminding me of Michelle Visage with balls (not that Michelle isn't fierce af, she just lacked a lot of that side on BB imo) and an extra edge to push her further.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 16 2016, 08:41 PM

Grow yourself a penis rotf.gif and Bear's face when Sam said it.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 17 2016, 08:47 PM

Sam is gone then. I'd love a shock of Ricky because he ust bores me to tears, at least has stood up for herself tonight etc. Well ideally it'd be Lewis and Bear but it's going to be Lewis and Sam.

Then again I suppose she could be the one to get the anti Bear vote as Ricky is quieter, the thing is the anti Bear vote will be split laugh.gif I honestly wouldn't be surprised a huge amount at Sam and Ricky?! We're due a shock eviction laugh.gif

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 17 2016, 08:49 PM

I think Sam is definitely gone too, the other I see as a close call between Ricky and Lewis. I can actually see it being Ricky, I'm not sure he's going to get people to pick up the phone for him whereas Lewis is always guaranteed some votes.

Aubrey survives yet another set of nominations! *.*

I think Lewis is certainly a goner but I think a case could actually be made for all the other four, yes I genuinely believe Bear could be in danger! If I was forced to say, I do think he's the safest though. Considering she only had 2 noms, I think they added in Sam to keep Bear in as it now means any anti-Bear votes are split further.

I would probably say it'll be Lewis & Ricky but it's far from being clear cut.

Posted by: Jack Aug 17 2016, 10:10 PM

I actually think Lewis and James are going to go, as far as polls go, tellymix is nearly always right.

Posted by: Kye Aug 17 2016, 11:20 PM

You really think 'Our Sam' is gonna go? ohmy.gif

Posted by: Liаm Aug 17 2016, 11:29 PM

She's not really shown much (but then neither is Ricky), and she's an older female laugh.gif Both deadly things in a vote to save. Plus you can't really rely on the "anti Bear vote" as Sam and Ricky are both prominently on that side so they'll split it. Thinking more rationally than my instant reaction, Lewis and James does seem a good call but I wouldn't rule out Sam OR Ricky, but Sam seems more likely.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 18 2016, 08:19 PM

Omg that was awful to see Lillie like that sad.gif

And Big Brother STILL has sympathy for him, they couldn't be more transparent in being so far up his ass... Watch the stupid public STILL support and defend him.

Posted by: Jonjo Aug 18 2016, 08:40 PM

Yep. Bear is definitely winning it from the clips I've seen of the ep that's shown today. They're trying to get the public to sympathise with him so badly!

Posted by: Houdini Aug 18 2016, 09:22 PM

I'm surprised at how well spoken Bear's Ex girlfriend is. I would have expected to hear something like "you are getting right on me fackin nut", "oh go on babe drop me out" etc....

How Bear cheated on her with Chloe is beyond me, Chloe is no where near as attractive as she is and I would guess that she's got a lot more upstairs as well than Chloe.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 18 2016, 10:06 PM

Even without the sympathy, which is so OTT, it just in general couldn't be more obvious they're really fixing it (as close as they can without rigging the votes lmao) for Bear. In vote to save, generally airtime = votes, and Bear is getting nearly ALL the airtime. You see a lot of casual viewers who don't think as deeply as someone like me does over BB say "it would be boring without Bear", but just because the others aren't being shown because of Bear doesn't mean that they're boring. But people think that and with a few flying under the radar it puts them in real danger of a vote to save, even well like celebs like Ricky and Sam. It's just the most blatant form of manipulation besides actually rigging the vote and it's so tedious. I know they can't force the public to vote for Bear but giving him so much airtime definitely gives him a real push. Casual fans are just going to think the others are boring and Bear keeps it entertaining but for me he's just the epitome of how Channel 5 subtly (or not so subtly in this case) gears it towards whoever they choose.

Posted by: Kye Aug 18 2016, 11:44 PM

It'll be interesting to see if they actually follow through with their threat if Bear wastes any more food.
They said it was his final warning.. so, if he throws food and doesn't get thrown out, it'll be a joke.

Posted by: Houdini Aug 19 2016, 12:42 AM

After being evicted Heavy D is back in familiar territory on ArsenalFanTV and he has challenged Lewis to a charity boxing match.

Posted by: pippa Aug 19 2016, 01:32 PM

Bear is getting far too much airtime and leeway by the producers, they appear desperate for him to win and it is turning me off the show. This is most certainly my least liked series ever of Big Brother and that includes both versions.

They won't. He's the least paid celebrity generating the most money in the Vote to Save. If they were going to kick him out they would have done it by now. If he acts up again they probably would just not show it.

Posted by: Froot. Aug 19 2016, 02:25 PM

The usual Facebook and Twitter stats seem to suggest that James leaving is a certainty with Lewis most likely to join him, Sam isn't far behind though.

Increasingly certain by the day that Channel 5 are fixing this so Bear will win.

Posted by: Froot. Aug 20 2016, 05:15 PM

Just realised that we have 5 girls and 3 guys left, has there ever been a time where they've been more girls than boys so late on?

Also, I saw last night that someone said there's more Americans left this year than at the same stage in UK v USA! laugh.gif

The series has possibly been my least favourite ever, the first two weeks certainly were, but those two factors are pretty impressive and surprising!

Posted by: Mackenzie Aug 20 2016, 05:37 PM

I wish Heavy D stayed, as annoying as he is, he brought some entertainment even if it was egging on Bear and driving Katie insane. Happy however James and Lewis have gone, hopefully it'll give Marnie room to shine as she's been quite one dimensional, especially when compared to the ex Geordie Shore celebrities who have gone into CBB.

Next I want Ricki (as lovely as he is to stare at all day, he brings nothing) and Frankie (annoying as hell) out, I think an all-girl finale with Bear would be hilarious.

Posted by: Aaron. Aug 20 2016, 07:00 PM

Shockingly, I don't hate Frankie this go around. I'd rather see Renee or Aubrey win if an American was going to win.. but.. a lot more bearable compared to BBUS.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 20 2016, 07:42 PM

Frankie is fine this time yeah laugh.gif I really really hope Ricky doesn't win, he's a lock for at leas top 3 but honestly part of me would rather have Bear :/ Ricky has brought NOTHING and I really hate the double standards that Katie and Sam are "boring" but Ricky is hailed as some hero who's saved the series... Just because the wine mums with their kids as their profile pic on Facebook are like "he was good in Eastenders xxxxxxxxxxxxx" drama.gif

Posted by: Jack Aug 21 2016, 10:14 PM

Channel 5 is so f***ing weird sometimes. I think their next biggest TV shows are 'On Benefits' and 'Can't Pay, We'll Take It Away' though laugh.gif.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 22 2016, 08:22 PM

Yep I'd definitely rather Bear won than Ricky now. Ricky is so drainingly tedious it's actually offensive.

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 22 2016, 08:27 PM

If you'd told me that Aubrey of all people would be the only person to make the final without facing any evictions I'd have completely laughed in your face, she's played it perfectly - tells it how it is but stays popular in the house. I think she'd be much more popular outside of the house too if it wasn't for the spitting incident which was her only mistake in the series.

Marnie is already a million times better she isn't spending all her time around Lewis and Bear, I think she's left it too late for a Stephanie-esque comeback though.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 22 2016, 08:35 PM

I'm thinking Samantha and Katie will go then!

Gonna guess at:

01 Ricky
02 Bear
03 Renee
04 Marnie
05 Frankie
06 Aubrey
07 Samantha
08 Katie

I think Frankie, Marnie and Aubrey are inerchangable though and Ricky/Bear could both win. Katie is doing herself no favours not taking it that well laugh.gif

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 22 2016, 08:49 PM

Katie is certain to go, I'd be tempted to put Marnie as going with her at the moment seeing as Our Sam has her Fox Army who she has to constantly sign autographs for seemingly voting for her. Marnie seems to be in a bit of no-mans land now and I doubt that will motivate votes, if she escapes it'll be only just. I find Sam so arrogant/delusional it is such a shame, she's probably my least favourite in there now.

I'd predict tomorrow's vote to be: Bear > Ricky > Frankie > Samantha > Marnie > Katie

And if my bottom 2 are right, my final prediction at the moment would be: Bear > Frankie > Ricky > Renee > Samantha > Aubrey (Frankie seems to be gaining momentum while Ricky is losing it)

Posted by: Aaron. Aug 23 2016, 02:33 AM

Marnie and Samantha will go, only because Aubrey has been spot on with her Nominations.

Posted by: pippa Aug 23 2016, 03:18 PM

I certainly believe Samantha will go, her true competitive side has came tunneling through in the last 1-2 weeks and its not a pleasant side to her. She rates herself too highly believing she is adored by the nation when in reality she only has a small fan base remaining.

Samantha and Katie i think will go but would prefer it to be Samantha and Marnie or Bear.

Posted by: Aaron. Aug 23 2016, 07:02 PM

Bear leaving would be such a Gemma/Perez type of eviction. I'd be fine with it TBH.

Posted by: Kye Aug 23 2016, 07:28 PM

I would prefer Bear to win over Ricky.. even if it's for all the wrong reasons.

Ricky is totally not a team player at all. Him not wanting to do any of the tasks (wanting to do anything actually) has really let him down.
He'd be such a BLAH winner.

Posted by: cqmerqn Aug 23 2016, 09:37 PM

I think Frankie could have a chance of winning, especially with the help of Ariana!! He's so underestimated

Posted by: Froot. Aug 23 2016, 10:08 PM

lol at the edit they're giving for Bear, the usual bad guy goes good in final week to become the winner. Funny how they find time to show a 'humourous' Diary Room monologue where he's talking about the model animals yet they don't show him temporarily blinding someone, accident or not.

Predictions for final:

01. Bear
02. Frankie
03. Renee
04. Ricky
05. Marnie
06. Aubrey

Aubrey's the only one I'm certain on, I would probably swap Ricky with Renee but surely it's not going to be an all-male Top 3? I'm pretty positive Bear will win now that even the housemates are starting to like them, he has the usual awful winner 'redemption' arc.

I have enjoyed this series a lot more during this past week which is obviously good but it makes me think it's a huge shame because the series as a whole's potential has been ruined by Heavy, Chloe, Bear & Lewis. They've all been toxic and they're certainly amongst my least favourite housemates ever. I think I can already say that Heavy is my least favourite of all time.

Posted by: cqmerqn Aug 23 2016, 10:17 PM

The thing is with Aubrey, she has never been up for eviction so we can't tell if she will have fans or not..

Posted by: Liаm Aug 24 2016, 12:03 AM

I'm glad I'm not he only one saying Heavy D is possibly the worst of all time laugh.gif I was trying to give mysef the usual cooling off period because at the time I feel like everyone who's the worst in their series is the "worst ever" but I was thinking, there wasn't a single positive moment with him. Like even Lewis and Bear have had funny moments or moments where they've seen or spoken sense even if it's just once or twice, but from the second he walked out Heavy D was nothing but an irritant and a headache. There wasn't a single redeeming feature but with other celeb housemates I'd put as low as him (for example Hopkins, Gary Busey, Perez, John Partidge) they at least had an unintentionally funny moment or in the case of John started off good. There's just not even one tiny moment where I smiled or laughed or felt good about anything Heavy D did. I mean even Helen bloody Wood had that period of like a week where she seemed ok !!

Completely agree! It feels like he'd have not got so far if he wasn't the actor behind a very popular EE character. That's another I hate about CBB, it feels like some people get so far based on who they are, not what they're like. Like if he was say an American singer but had the exact same personality he'd be a 5th evictee from being boring sort of housemate, not a potential winner.

Well, I follow Aubrey on Twitter ( and she follows me heart.gif ) and they seem to be retweeting a lot of people saying they're voting.

I was also so pressed that Frankie sang in that effing STUPID key when Aubrey was singing tonight. First chance to show what she's famous for and he drowned her out trying to be Ariana.

Posted by: pippa Aug 24 2016, 01:45 PM

Bear winning would be a disaster. Bear is what is wrong in today's society, the way he has treated people is simply disgusting. He showed no respect for any one in that house and now for him to be rewarded as the winner (should this happen) is an absolute joke.

People are forgetting all the horrible things he has done in that house. It is extremely clear Big Brother want him to win, he has got so many warnings that had any one else in the house received would have been removed from the house.

If Bear wins Big Brother, do you honestly think he will have learned any thing of importance. In my opinion the answer is no. If he wins he will believe it is perfectly acceptable to treat people any way he wants and going forward in his own life that will do him no favours at all.

I understand he has entertained the audience, but in large entertained for the wrong reasons.

Ricki is the opposite to all the above and i believe he would be a more worthy winner. I understand he is not as entertaining but as a human being he is a much more worthy winner. Ricki is very down to earth, appreciates his surroundings and can adapt to people, listen to them and help them.

Has anyone ever thought that if Bear had not been so over powering we may have seen more of the other housemates come alive. Bear disrupted everything and dampened their mood and as a result i dont think any of the other contestants got a chance to really shine and show their true selves.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 24 2016, 03:26 PM

Ok I'm kinda changing my mind about Bear over Ricky, apparently he's had FOUR warnings "in recent days"....

I really don't want either to win though, both would among the worst winners CBB have had. Ricky for being so hideously boring and not a team player, quite miserable. And Bear for being basically the immature version of Helen Wood. I don't think he's as nasty as Helen Wood I just think he'd just rather have his fun and he doesn't care if other people are annoyed, hurt or upset, which I guess is nasty and unpleasant in a different way but not much better than Helen. I'd much rather Frankie, Renee, Aubrey or even Marnie won but I don't think any of them have a chance. Marnie could do a Stephanie Davis on a lesser scale, like maybe 3rd or 4th, I guess. She's seemed ok in the past few days without Lewis, I'd argue she could've been Bear's challenger had Lewis not been in there.

Posted by: pippa Aug 24 2016, 06:45 PM

Aubrey would be the ideal winner here but i know that will not happen. Ricki would be ok with me too. Ricki is the only one with a chance of beating Bear, this is in large down to his EastEnders fan base.

Posted by: Ryan. Aug 24 2016, 08:02 PM

Posted by: Jack Aug 24 2016, 10:56 PM

Also so bored of BB pulling Bear into the Diary Room only to tell him off but do f*** all. He could punch someone in the face and probably get away with it.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 24 2016, 11:02 PM

They're knd of making a mockery of warnings, they have since the whole Conor thing. SO many complaints and nothing was done. And then Helen got 14 or whatever it was warnings, and now there's Bear who's temporarily blinded Samantha despite being on a "final warning". The producers are like that kind of supply teacher who'd write names on the board as warnings but they were too timid to send anyone out or do anything about it.

Posted by: Froot. Aug 25 2016, 08:29 PM

This is SO frustrating because, whilst I agree with them, all Renee & Aubrey are doing is creating sympathy for Bear for the idiots that vote. Its so annoying that a Bear win is so obvious. sad.gif

He's a horrible person yet the public are just blind to it because 'there would be no show without him!!!'. With the Speidi series, that was most certainly true because Rylan was the only one in there who could also create entertainment but, in this series, nearly every housemate has had the potential to be entertaining but they're just not allowed to be because Bear wants to be the focus of attention all the time (see all the live bits/nomination announcements) and just hog the screen time. Even just looking at the last civilian Big Brother, Marco hogged the screen time for the first week but he was a horrible housemate and, once he left, everyone else helped to create one of the best Big Brothers of recent years. Whilst Marco was in the house, I wasn't enjoying the series but, once he was out, there was so many entertaining moments that followed.

How close is the relationship between Channel 5 & Viacom?

Posted by: Liаm Aug 25 2016, 09:16 PM

Completely agree Froot, that's the worst thing! If it was a shit series anyway then fine but this had the potential to be one of the best CBBs ever. So it's just even worse that bloody Bear has taken it over, quashing the potential of viirtually everyone else because so many housemates got not enough airtime between Heavy D and Bear. If it was just one of the two and they went early ish (like Heavy D) it wouldn't be so bad, but it hasn't been nay better since Heavy D went either - it's been Bear taking up what he did. It's never been so blatant imo that the producers want someone to win, even the Helen series drama.gif

I think it's between Bear & Marnie for who will win Big Brother. The Geordie Shore people always seem to win these reality shows so it could happen again for Marnie although I really hope it doesn't.

05 Marnie

Think

01 Bear
02 Ricki
03 Marnie
04 Frankie
05 Renee
06 Aubrey

I would be delighted for Ricki, Aubrey or Renee to win. That said i believe i would be happy for anyone to win except Bear.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 26 2016, 03:08 PM

I think Ricky was joking about the "great take" thing but the sad thing nowadays is that it being scripted wouldn't surprise me given how much they want the show to be Ex On The Beach/GS/TOWIE laugh.gif

Posted by: Froot. Aug 26 2016, 03:24 PM

The ex-civillian housemates have come out as saying it isn't scripted, obviously I wouldn't be surprised if it was or the celebrity one was though. HOWEVER, I personally don't think it is. The particular 'scene' in question is perfect to end the series on and not everyone goes to bed at the same time in order to make that work. I think it's just a special scene rather than it being the regular thing. This bad publicity does however mean that there's a 99% chance that there will be no more live feed in future! sad.gif

The controller of Channel 5, Ben Frow, has also said he wishes he could put Big Brother on at 11pm but it's too expensive for him to do so it's good to know that there is a lot of confidence and support behind it. smile.gif He did later say though that they're aware that Love Island was so successful this year. So that will probably will result in more focus on relationship focus. He also said that he doesn't want to be the one to kill the show and they want that bold moment/change to help keep it a a successful reality show.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 26 2016, 03:28 PM

I'm honestly waiting for them to just do the next door twist but ONLY with Exs since they're so fascinated with Ex On The Beach, I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they did that next series - especially after Charlie and Jason.

I do think though if it WAS scripted then surely some bitter celebrity would have come forward and exposed it? laugh.gif

Posted by: Froot. Aug 26 2016, 03:40 PM

Especially with Jason ending up as the winner, I certainly wouldn't be surprised either! They'll be finding out ways on how to use that second house now that they have it and, rather than being innovative and enforcing a competition aspect, they'll just follow the crowd.

Yeh, definitely someone like Samantha would have said something after her comments already. The unscripted nature of the show is what makes it so good anyway (see David's dead) so it would be a shame if it were now scripted but I really don't think it is.

Posted by: Kye Aug 26 2016, 09:58 PM

I bet it's the best £12k they've ever spent.. they probably got that & more back on all the morons that voted for him to win.
I've never been so enraged by a character on the show before & Perez Hilton was not a nice person.. putting it politely.
Channel 5 & Big Brother have been SO hard faced about getting him the win and it's been pointed out by national newspapers.. I genuinely considered they'd have him coming in second to save face. But, no! They played the edit game & I hate to use this word, but they fixed it for him to win. No questions.

Posted by: Liаm Aug 26 2016, 10:45 PM

They might both be completely different ends of the spectrum, but both of that top 2 are exactly what's wrong with BB. Neither of them have been anywhere near top 2 because I can't stand the boring ones who coast through on nothing or the horrible wins who win because they have an easy ride set up by Big Brother. I especially hate the double standards that have been perhaps more prevalent than ever this year. For example, Bear being aggressive and winding everyone up is absolutely hilarious to the idiot viewers and yet Aubrey or Renee got a fair bit of backlash for being nasty or aggressive if they ever stood up to him when they had enough. Equally, Ricky did f*** all for the entire season bar be a bit miserable about Bear and he's hailed as some hero but the likes of Sam, Grant or Katie who didn't get a lot of airtime are called "boring". Now yes, Ricky fell victim to the Bear show as much as anyone else but I'd argue he contributed even less than say Sam or Katie, they had their moments of controversy and arguments etc., but because he's Fatboy from Eastenders it's fine for him to do nothing, somehow he deserves to win more. I guess it comes down to the viewerbase, males always get away with a lot more or get cut far more slack. It's just such a shame that amazing potential winners like Tiffany and Renee this year alone got shafted because they're both American AND female :/

Also these were the %s apparently for the final:

Bear 35.90%
Ricky 34.57%
Renee 14.66%
Marnie 6.51%
Aubrey 4.82%
Frankie 3.54%

Posted by: Serg Mix Aug 26 2016, 11:38 PM

It is pretty obvious that this series has been one big marketing ploy for other shows. The Christmas themed task to promote Channel 5's (ridiculous) Christmas weekend of Xmas films, the 'Truth or Dare' to promote the movie 'Nerve', and Bear (let's be honest) is there to promote Ex On The Beach. I don't know why or how anyone is surprised by him winning it.

Heavy D (real name Colin Newell) has died at the age of 43 after being found dead in his house. I associate him more with ArsenalFanTV on YouTube but he was also a housemate in this series of Celebrity Big Brother and he was in Storage Hunters. R.I.P Heavy D!

I'd known him most from Storage Hunters, awful to hear and he had an 18-month old daughter sad.gif
