CyBC have today revealed the artist behind Ryan's upcoming favourite Eurovision entry of 2021! The team behind 'El Diablo' is Jimmy Thornfeld, Laurell Barker, Oxa, and Thomas Stengaard. The song will drop at a later date.
We live for Elena's at Eurovision with Mediterranean bops - come through!!
This drops on the 24th. Rumoured to be going back to their Fuego/Replay comfort zone and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!
They could do something similar every year and I'd eat it up if it sticks at such a high quality
We need this after tonight.
Let's pretend last years entry didn't happen.
I just caught the end premiering and LORD this is a serve. The gays are going to eat this up probably even more than Fuego No hyperbole it really does sound like a lost Lady Gaga smash!
This is amazing. They've delivered another female up-tempo banger like we all crave, but it's far enough away from Fuego and Replay to not just be their third attempt with the same song.
WHERE
HELP ME
WHY HAS THIS RIPPED OF ZARA LARSSONS ARTWORK AND VIDEO OF LOVE ME LAND !!!!
It feels very The Fame Monster Gaga from that clip! Sounds BIG. And agreed it's enough away from Fuego/Replay whilst capturing that exact same audience. Clever move!
So good, my instant favourite.
It does sound like Fame Monster era Gaga in the choruses and I love the 90s house vibe in the verses too, a great switch up in production which stops it from sounding like a complete Gaga clone. So good, fingers crossed for a top ten result for this!
Okay that Twitter link is obviously missing an intro but THIS IS AMAZING
To me this sounds like a big European summer hit, it’s going to sound so good in the sun, hopefully it can take off commercially!
Justice for Love Me Land.
This is a bop and has got my attention
It does sound like Bad Romance and Anywhere in the chorus though. It might get some time to warm up for me but the verses are strong and unique.
WELL! This is a bit bloody massive. I like how the chorus feels familiar but the verse is a bit edgey. Juxtaposed with exquisite staging (which they will), this will surely do very, very well.
I can already tell I will absolutely LOVE this come May.
This is soooooo bad.
This is what we needed!
I’ve downloaded the Panik Records app just for this. I think it’s the closest we have to a contender, with the 11 songs we have up to now.
It's really Bad Romance mashed with Anywhere sponsored by rave.dj!!!
Sony music Spain and Sweden have also tweeted asking if love me land has been chosen for Cyprus Eurovision songs entry 💀
Consider my weave snatchT (do people even say that any more?)
I love this with every fibre of my being.
First listen and I think this is awful.
The amount of processing that has been thrust upon the vocals. Oh dear. Although that might just be the quality of the file we're listening to.
It may grow on me.
It does reek of The Fame but I didn't love everything on The Fame. I can see why people love it but I don't get it yet.
This is so unbelievably uninspired. I wish they stopped trying soooo hard to replicate the Fuego success. I don’t mind the song too much but I hope it flops really hard.
Finally on Spotify and yep...
INJECT THIS INTO MY VEINS!!!!!
Wow.
This song makes me uncomfortable. I feel manipulatied by it. There's contrived music. Then there's calculated music. Then there's this.
It's like every syllable has been stretched, twisted and contorted to elicite maximum excitement from Eurovision fans. This is the result of extreme song eugenics. Every note is sculpted
It makes Chains on You and Cleopatra sounds like Tracey Chapman, by comparison.
Obsessed with this, every day I love it more and more.
Cyprus has been coming out with absolute bops since Fuego and I'm absolutely here for it
Well actually I quite like this song after listening to it in full
Now that I have listened to a proper studio version of this, I still am not a fan. In fact I'm starting to actively HATE it. I will be immensely disappointed and let down if this comes anywhere NEAR the Top 10 purely because of how deeply uninspired and cheap this is.
So I heard this on an Instagram story a while back and have been addicted ever since and only just found out tonight it’s a Eurovision entry 😐 better strike it off my BJSC potentials list now 😅
This absolutely bangs
This is a real banger, it really came alive on stage for me and i think its my fave song in it now.
Very disappointed with their final result.
I'm shocked it did so badly but I think many others predicted their result much better than me.
They did the exact same with Michela in 2019 by opening with the fan favourite female banger that comes mid-teens
Debuts at 60 here in Ireland, im happy enough with that, not bad for song that was overlooked in the voting.
