When children's TV was on the afternoon during the 90s and early 00s which was your favourite children's programme that you would watch?

CBBC on BBC1 or CITV or ITV?

Who was your favourite children's TV presenter or favourite children's TV programme from that era?

CBBC totally defined my childhood wub.gif shows like Tracy Beaker, Basil Brush and the S Club TV shows were incredible (and still are ph34r.gif), and of course The Sarah Jane Adventures which was way beyond any normal kids show in my eyes.

The only presenter that really sticks out in my mind is Barney Harwood, and a google search tells me he's still around on CBBC doing Blue Peter *_*

I didn't really watch CBBC or CITV that much as a kid, it was more of Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon. I think watched CBBC slightly more than CITV though.

Programmes I watched from CBBC were Kerching & Get Your Own Back. From CITV it was Art Attack that I used to watch.

Both for me.

CBBC: I saw quite a lot of the likes of Trapped! [along with some other gameshows. This one was probably my fave when I was younger], 50/50, Bear Behaving Badly, MI High, League Of Super Evil, some Scooby Doo shows [mostly What's New, Mystery Inc and the 1976 Show], Dennis The Menace,Horrible Histories [this taught us more history than actual history lessons at school kink.gif] and The Secret Show when I was in primary

CITV: I saw quite a lot of the likes of Horrid Henry, Jungle Run, Almost Naked Animals, Grizzly Tales From Gruesome Kids [that was creepy. With morals like "Don't bite people" and "Be punctual" tought in a Goosebumps-esque style.), Supernormal, SpongeBob, and some cartoons on Toonatik when I was in primary. And an episode of Oops made me LOL when I was in primary school

Ah, primary school. The days of..

Heads Up, Thumbs Down,
Singing songs like "Cauliflowers fluffy and cabbages green" during harvest season,
Having to sing religious anthems like "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands" even if some of us weren't even religious
Being overjoyed when your class get to watch stuff from a TV on wheels, learning stuff like The Celts and World War Two.
Having to hear the story of the boy who swung forwards and backwards on his/her chair and ended up having a broken neck

CBBC, definitely. For starters Andi Peters and Edd the Duck in the broom cupboard is one of my earliest childhood memories. But also because of so many great kid's shows I loved growing up - 50/50, the various S Club series, No Sweat, Out of Tune, The Wild House, The Queen's Nose, Pirates, Oscar's Orchestra, Brum, Postman Pat, Charlie Chalk, PC Pinkerton. Hell, even Playdays in that mix as well. The 90s were the best!

Sadly I was only around for approximately a month of that decade
Fun House was a great show. Remember watching it a lot on Challenge back in 2012. ("It's wacky, it's fun, it's crazy. IT'S OUTRAGEOUS!!!!")

A CITV continuity from 1999, and a very young Stephen Mulhern and Danielle Nicholls.
