Sup Jordan! Hope you're fine and dandy
1. Katy Perry – Never Really Over [2-1] I'm still enjoying this, it's a fun little song, so I'm happy to see it at #1 for you. I'm not surprised it couldn't quite get to the Top 10 officially though, her empirical chart reign is well and truly over. 2. Kygo & Whitney Houston – Higher Love Another one of my current faves the production is obviously very Kygo by numbers and therefore a bit dated but Whitney sounds amazing on it. I'm hoping it can go Top 3 eventually. Has it been well received in the US? 3. Dominic Fike – 3 Nights [31-x-6-3] I don't really get the massive love for this if I'm honest. It's a decent dance track but nothing amazing to my ears. 4. Ed Sheeran feat. Chance The Rapper & PnB Rock – Cross Me [3-4] 5. Miley Cyrus – Mother’s Daughter [1-5] 6. Sigala & Becky Hill – Wish You Well Love the trance elements to this, takes me back to 2000 7. Jess Glynne & Jax Jones – One Touch [19-7] 10. Taylor Swift – You Need To Calm Down [38-10] Still not massively into this, and I'm still hoping she's got something properly amazing lined up for this era. 12. Shawn Mendes – If I Can’t Have You [9-5-12] 13. Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber – I Don’t Care [4-7-13] 15. Panic! At The Disco – Hey Look Ma, I Made It [23-10-15] 16. Halsey – Nightmare [25-9-16] 18. Freya Ridings – Castles I guess she wanted this to be her Rolling In The Deep, and she's succeeded to an extent, but she's still a poor man's Adele it is a good song though and it looks like the album has some life in it. 21. Bastille – Joy Great to see you chart this, another cracking single from them 24. Sam Smith – How Do You Sleep? Probably the best thing he's done since the first era tbh. I'm not entirely convinced with the post-chorus drop but I'm liking the rest of the song. 25. Billie Eilish – Bad Guy [25-19-8-25] 29. Mark Ronson feat. Camila Cabello – Find U Again Loving this even more than NBLAH now I can't really understand why it's languishing in the lower Top 40 though, it sounds like a huge hit to me! 30. Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello – Senorita A great collab which I'm enjoying a lot but secretly (well, maybe not so secretly) I still prefer I Know What You Did Last Summer! 32. Ellie Goulding & Juice Wrld – Hate Me 33. Lil Nas X – Panini I've been liking this a lot more than I thought I would. I was very confused the first time I heard it though because I was wondering why he's singing a song to a grilled sandwich 34. Mabel – Mad Love It's always a pleasure to see my current #1 in your chart but I wish it had entered a bit higher! This is easily my fave Mabel song to date, I've got mad love for it 39. James Arthur – Falling Like The Stars [16-39] A particularly excellent selection this month! |

Hello Riser!
Here are the tracks that I like and some comments to most of these tracks: 1. Katy Perry Never Really Over [2-1] I enjoy this song, Katy has never sounded so great as she does here! 2. Kygo & Whitney Houston Higher Love LOVE this song! It's so amazing and I think the collaboration works! Whitney sounds great there and Kygo's production sounds great too! Shame it's not as huge in the States, as it is in Europe! 3. Dominic Fike 3 Nights [31-x-6-3] One of my favourite songs this year, hands down. Glad to see it in your top 3! 4. Ed Sheeran feat. Chance The Rapper & PnB Rock Cross Me [3-4] 6. Sigala & Becky Hill Wish You Well Such a great summer jam! Sigala is always a great presence and Becky's voice fits perfectly wish his production! 7. Jess Glynne & Jax Jones One Touch [19-7] 8. Bazzi Paradise [1-4-8] 9. Lizzo Truth Hurts [27-9] Really enjoying this right now! Lizzo is such a talented artist! 10. Taylor Swift You Need To Calm Down [38-10] Not a bad song, hopefully her new album lives up to high expectations! 12. Shawn Mendes If I Cant Have You [9-5-12] 13. Ed Sheeran & Justin Bieber I Dont Care [4-7-13] 15. Panic! At The Disco Hey Look Ma, I Made It [23-10-15] 17. Blanco Brown The Git Up Such a goofy song, but I really enjoy it! Sounds kind of more country than Old Town Road. 18. Freya Ridings Castles If this is the huge single that could bring her worldwide success, I'm all for it, because I like it a lot! Hopefully it does even bigger than "Lost Without You"! 20. Post Malone feat. Young Thug Goodbyes This might be my favourite Post Malone song since "Candy Paint", it works surprisingly for me! Everything in it is great! 21. Bastille Joy My favourite Bastille song since "Good Grief", glad to see it here! 24. Sam Smith How Do You Sleep? I'm happy that Sam Smith made another upbeat single, because I like him better in that lane than his ballads. 25. Billie Eilish Bad Guy [25-19-8-25] 28. Bryce Vine feat. YG La La Land [38-x-28] 29. Mark Ronson feat. Camila Cabello Find U Again I still don't understand why it isn't huge? It's amazing! 30. Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello Senorita Summer hit of 2019, well deserved! 32. Ellie Goulding & Juice Wrld Hate Me A pairing that shouldn't work, but did! 33. Lil Nas X Panini Not as huge or better than "Old Town Road", but I like it. 34. Mabel Mad Love Mabel is a great artist. "Don't Call Me Up" was amazing and this was a great follow-up to it. Her album is great as well! 35. OneRepublic Rescue Me Happy to see this here, I'm also happy that it started finally getting traction around the world! 36. AJ Tracey Ladbroke Grove Not as huge of a fan of this song unlike the UK, but still enjoyable. 38. Young T & Bugsey feat. Aitch Strike A Pose This shouldn't have worked as good as it did. It's actually pretty good. 39. James Arthur Falling Like The Stars [16-39] 40. SZA, The Weeknd & Travis Scott Power Is Power [3-17-40] Great selection of songs! |

James Arthur Falling Like The Stars [16-39] A particularly excellent selection this month! 1. I'm not surprised either, it's still a shame though. It was practically a tie between her and Kygo for my #1, by the way! 2. Ooh, it's very close to the top 3 now Hard to say, I know a couple people that like it but it hasn't been a hit, at least not yet. Starting to accumulate airplay but I can't see it going top 40 here 3. That's interesting, I wouldn't consider it a dance track! 6. It's probably my favorite Sigala track now 10. Well, I've listened to the album and I think you'll like a few tracks at least! A lot of different styles on it, I was pleasantly surprised. 18. Well no one can match Adele to be fair, but I hope the rumors of an Adele Q4 release are true so we get the real deal! 21. It's grown on me a lot, so much for me saying I liked Doom Days more 24. Definitely his best thing since the first era! 29. I know a lot of people here agree with you, but to me it didn't sound like a hit. Still, I would've liked it to chart higher! 30. ! I wouldn't go that far but I do still prefer If I Can't Have You to this (as you can tell from this chart). 33. It's sooooo much better than Old Town Road IMO 34. Well, it will climb but I'm not sure how much. Don't Call Me Up went something like 36-1 on my chart, although I know you don't like that as much Thanks for commenting Mango! Hello Riser! It's actually pretty good. 39. James Arthur Falling Like The Stars [16-39] 40. SZA, The Weeknd & Travis Scott Power Is Power [3-17-40] Great selection of songs! 1. Those are strong words Not that I disagree but I think it's more the production than her vocals! 2. Yep it's a perfect collab, I knew it wouldn't do much in the US because Kygo's just not popular here but it'd be nice if it was doing better. 3. Likewise! 6. I agree 9. She really is, I'm so glad the world is recognizing her talent 10. Well, I'd say her album's quite good if you haven't listened to it yet! 17. Yep, I agree with that too. 18. Hmm, that doesn't appear to be happening, but I'm just glad she's not a one-hit wonder anymore. 20. I'm sure it's somewhere in my top 3 from Post Malone. Tough to rank them but this is pretty flawless. 21. Ooh, it's probably my favorite since Good Grief too! 24. He really got it perfectly right with this one, hopefully his next song is just as good. 33. I completely disagree Well, except that Old Town Road is definitely the huger song for obvious reasons 34. I love her too, so glad she's taken off this year and got to release her album <3 35. Oh yes, I'm liking it even more now so it should climb on my next chart Thanks for commenting! |

Also can't fault the variety of genres, I tend not to stray too much into the more current urban acts, but that's prob due to my right ear struggling to make out the lyrics Too many loud concerts I'm afraid, had to happen... fab chart as always, but wot no Black Atlass. Ne'er mind, in my chart again soon cheers John |

10. Well, I've listened to the album and I think you'll like a few tracks at least! A lot of different styles on it, I was pleasantly surprised. I listened to Taylor's album just today actually and you're right, I liked about half the tracks! Lover is great so hopefully it's the next proper single, but my favourite is London Boy, complete bop |

Hi Jordan! Hi John!15. Panic! At The Disco Hey Look Ma, I Made It [23-10-15] wish this would chart in the UK, it's criminal it's flopped! 25. Billie Eilish Bad Guy [25-19-8-25] finally topping the US charts after 86 years at number 2!! Can't argue with your top 3 really, all genuinely good pop songs! Also can't fault the variety of genres, I tend not to stray too much into the more current urban acts, but that's prob due to my right ear struggling to make out the lyrics Too many loud concerts I'm afraid, had to happen... fab chart as always, but wot no Black Atlass. Ne'er mind, in my chart again soon cheers John Oh yes, I remember Hey Look Ma being a #1 on your chart ages ago! Yeah it's a shame it didn't make a bigger impact in the UK. No Black Atlass, because I didn't even hear the song until the 28th so it was way too late to impact my chart! Tbh I can't see it charting this month either because I have too many other faves to make room for Thanks for commenting! I listened to Taylor's album just today actually and you're right, I liked about half the tracks! Lover is great so hopefully it's the next proper single, but my favourite is London Boy, complete bop Yay!! Pretty much all of the songs have been growing on me, and it does seem like Lover's a proper single now!
