After 3 listens
10 Anecdotes 11 Sapokanikan 09 Leaving the City 10 Goose Eggs 09 Waltz of the 101st Lightborne 09 The Things I Say 09 Divers 10 Same Old Man 10 You Will Not Take My Heart Alive 08 A Pin-Light Bent 10 Time, As a Symptom AotY much? Love this too much. Was definitely worth the wait. Her most commercial album to-date by far. So deep and rich in sound. Lyrically stunning, as always (album starting with "Sending..." and ending with "...tran" *.* ). brb crying how incredible this is |

I'd really love to be able to get as much as you do out of modern music. I just don't.

It was a question - a barbed one but still a question.
By those scores is must be very close to being your favourite album ever, if not THE number 1? |

It's been out there for a week and even though I listened to it at least 30 times by now, that's ridiculously early to tell. I'm not even entertaining the idea. Come back in a couple of years.

I suppose I associate scores like that with some sort of estimation of all time greatness where others are able to separate scoring an album at a point in time and it's all time status.

You might get bored in a year, you might find more dimensions in it 3 years later which will make you appreciate the record more. Longevity is a huge factor that shouldn't be ignored.

I totally agree. I mean, when I listen to Bloc Party's Silent Alarm is blows my mind but I still dont have it in my Top 10 albums ever - it just doesn't feel right to put it there.
