Take That up 5 places from yesterdays update dance.gif
I will be disappointed if Emma Bunton loses her Top 10 placing, a meet and greet would have got her the sales she needs to secure Top 10 or possibly Top 5.

Yep everything has been perfect for this campaign (Bundles, Signed versions, TV/Radio) - the only thing missing was album signings! Surprised she didn’t do any I went to see her at HMV signings for her first 2 albums.

Not necessarily, i think the vision for Life In Mono was all over the place. Free Me was more fun and vibrant, Life In Mono seemed much more interesting whilst clearly still a decent album they were just relying on basically her doing Strictly and her doing Downtown as the CIN single.

Free Me was remarkable, a legit outstanding album - excellent singles alongside one of the best pop songs ever 'Maybe'.

Really shocked that the LSD album is going to miss the Top 40. I know the singles haven't been that well received but I'd have thought that they'd have enough fans between the three artists (well, more Sia than the other two) to at least sell a few thousand copies.

Lil Nas X has the number 1 now
Emma Bunton slipping just 1 place may provide hope she can claim a Top 10 position on Friday.
Take That also showing hope they can claim a Top 40 return on Friday.

Omg Emma I was so hoping she would at the very least hold onto #7 and possible climb to #6 since they gap was so small and she actually sold more than Fountaines the day before!

Anyone know the sales from 6-11?

Fontaines DC have had siginings yesterday and today - with another tomorrow. So that will help them.

Looks like The Chemical Brothers might still have a chance of clinging onto the top 3, new releases occasionally seem to magic some extra sales at the end of the week out of nowhere to hold up better than the midweek trend indicates (happened with The Prodigy and Foals for example), but even aside from that it doesn't look like Tom Walker is catching up fast enough to overtake by Friday? Not sure if TGS is either. They should be safe to be no lower than #5 even in the worst case scenario though which would still be alright (at least means they get a mention on the chart show) albeit a little disappointing.

Really feels like Lil Nas X should have a bigger lead than he does but he'll still be safely on track for #1 which is the important thing ~ wouldn't be too surprised if Lewis manages to still claw back another week or two at the top after this now though. Although there is new Taylor Swift coming which could be big if she plays her cards right magic.gif
