#11 is not bad for Ella's album considering 'Ghost' is only just taking off. Any chance it could be top 10 in the actual sales chart?

Chart Highlights
It seems bizarre that even though album sales are slumping, Taylor is defying the odds and selling albums at a faster rate than anything she has released before . |

When do you think it will go diamond? I was thinking it could follow the trajectory of 21 but obviously it doesn't have as broad an appeal as 21 did to spur those sales, and sales will gradually taper off anyway, but she's only a couple singles in and if she remains ubiquitous enough throughout the year, maybe sales will remain relatively steady.

I think it can sell perhaps 6.5m ultimately. Not diamond.

It probably won't. 6-7 million most likely. The sales climate looks as though it's going to drop a little again and her sales are also starting to calm down. With singles to promote the album I think she will be able to shift another 2-3 million by the end of the era but 10 million is out of reach :/ |

Anyone else thinking Taylor may re-release for the first time EVER?
I mean cause SURELY we're all overlooking this possibility. This post has been edited by Blank Slayberry: 25th January 2015, 06:53 AM |

Is it possible not being on Spotify is helping her album sales? |

I think that actually plays a pretty decent part. I mean why would one casual listener buy an album that can be listened to via spotify?
Of course the brilliance of the album, its singles release strategy, the radio backing and great promo from her team make up for the rest This post has been edited by *Tim: 25th January 2015, 04:16 PM |
