2 weeks at #1 for Haim! I haven't heard most of the new entries this week, but I'll check them out - I really like the Noel Gallagher's HFB and Starcrawler tracks.

Not sure I have ever seen a song stay at #1 on this chart for more than a week!
This list is very good at collating most of the new releases that I'm interested to hear from week to week (apart from hip-hop ones obvz). |

some great newies, Bon Iver - Naeem is one of the album highlights... Pixies, Lana, Bat for Lashes...
not sure why only 1 Lana track, the other one she released seemed to produce more buzz to me but alas... and good for Him to claim a 2nd week, there doesn't seem to be much buzz though... |

I imagine 'Looking For America' is there over the other one because there's been lots of articles about it because in response to the mass shootings in America.

but the other one is in a movie so there's also been buzz and hype, which this is based on if I understand it well |

Have decided to listen through all the songs on this that I've not already heard this week and going to try and check out all the new entries each week from now on. Most of the highlights are the songs I planned to listen to anyway but I'm really liking the songs from DIIV, Geowulf and Ra Ra Riot in particular as well!
'Fear Inoculum' is really good, I'm not familiar with any of TOOL's stuff before but maybe I should be based on this. |
