Absolutely devastated for Welbeck. A real blow to 2018 qualifying hopes as well.

Germany for me, they could be the next Spain and win 3 big tournaments in a row.
The surprise package will be Switzerland who'll make the Semis! |

Here's your full simulated prediction.
Group A: France 0:2 Romania Albania 0:0 Switzerland Romania 2:1 Switzerland France 2:1 Albania Switzerland 1:1 France Romania 1:0 Albania Romania 9pts. (5-1) France 4pts. (3-4) Switzerland 2pts. (2-3) Albania 1pts. (1-3) MVP of the Group: Maxim (ROU) Group B: Wales 2:1 Slovakia England 0:2 Russia Russia 3:4 Slovakia England 0:1 Wales Slovakia 2:2 England Russia 0:2 Wales Wales 9pts. (5-1) Slovakia 4pts. (7-7) Russia 3pts. (5-6) England 1pts. (2-5) MVP of the Group: Bale (WAL) Group C: Poland 2:2 Northern Ireland Germany 1:1 Ukraine Ukraine 3:1 Northern Ireland Germany 3:1 Poland Northern Ireland 0:2 Germany Ukraine 2:1 Poland Germany 7 pts. (6-2) Ukraine 7pts. (6-3) Poland 1pts. (4-7) Northern Ireland 1pts. (3-7) MVP of the Group: Neuer (GER) Group D: Turkey 1:0 Croatia Spain 1:0 Czech Republic Czech Republic 1:3 Croatia Spain 5:1 Turkey Croatia 2:3 Spain Czech Republic 1:3 Turkey Spain 9pts. (9-3) Turkey 6pts. (5-6) Croatia 3pts. (5-5) Czech Republic 0pts. (2-7) MVP of the Group: Iniesta (ESP) Group E: Ireland 0:2 Sweden Belgium 0:3 Italy Italy 2:1 Sweden Belgium 7:1 Ireland Sweden 1:1 Belgium Italy 2:1 Ireland Italy 9pts. (7-2) Belgium (8-5) Sweden 4pts. (4-3) Ireland 0pts. (2-11) MVP of the Group: Buffon (ITA) Group F: Austria 3:0 Hungary Portugal 3:3 Iceland Iceland 0:3 Hungary Portugal 1:1 Austria Iceland 3:4 Austria Hungary 0:2 Portugal Austria 7pts. (8-4) Portugal 5pts. (6-4) Hungary 3pts. (3-5) Iceland 1pts. (6-10) MVP of the Group: Alaba (AUT) Round of 16: France 1:2 Ukraine Spain 2:1 Hungary Wales 1:0 Croatia Austria 4:1 Belgium Germany 3:3 Russia [GER 5-3 pens] Italy 0:2 Turkey Romania 0:2 Sweden Slovakia 3:1 Portugal Quarterfinals: Ukraine 2:1 Spain Wales 0:3 Austria [a.e.t.] Germany 0:2 Turkey Sweden 0:3 Slovakia Semifinals: Ukraine 1:0 Austria Turkey 1:0 Slovakia Final: Ukraine 0:2 Turkey MVP of the Knockouts: Turan (TUR) Gold Boot: Janko (AUT) Considering I currently have Ukraine ranked #3 in the world, this is feasible. Also Turkey has been quietly improving after a disastrous 2014 WC campaign. Their EURO qualifying didn't get off to a hot start either, but they were one of the better teams in Europe during the final 2/3 of qualifying. |

1 point for England? My word I sincerely hope that simulation doesn't come true
You need to put a stake on Turkey! Brilliant odds right now. |

If England don't get more than 1 point and Ukraine get to the final, I will literally eat my computer.

Did you do this simulation on the Euro 2016 video game? Multiple simulations using footysimulator.co.uk After running multiple simulations for a matchup, it chose the best scoreline/result by what came up most often. Believe it or not that 7-1 score came up alot. Poor Ireland in major tournaments... |

Out there for the whole tournament. Tickets for Albania vs. Romania, Iceland vs. Austria (both last games of the group so should have something on them for one or both sides making them more interesting than they appear), a R16 match, the Lyon semi final and for all England games as far as they go!

Lucky you Enjoy the experience. We'll be expecting regular reports 6 of us going (plus a couple of others for a week or so), driving and camping wherever possible. Been planning and saving for it since the beginning of 2013 now. Would've loved to go to a World Cup but Brazil too soon, Russia too big and not exactly an appealing place, and no desire at all to go to Qatar, so the next time it might be held somewhere we'd want to and could go to would be 2026, all of us nearing 40 probably have a lot more commitments making it not possible to sod off from England for a month or so. Had tickets to all England home matches in the last two years (didn't go to them all, only so many times England at Wembley on a midweek night has any appeal) and also done four of the aways (Scotland, Ireland, San Marino and Spain) and managed to have enough 'caps' to get tickets to all the matches, not even had to go for any of the expensive options, €55 each for the group matches, slightly over £600 for all 7 matches should we get that far, refunded if not. I can't wait now, it's come around quick though! |

Sounds amazing Mark, I'm jealous. I know a guy that's in the England Supporters Group and he loves it, sounds like he has a right laugh. Certainly a once in a lifetime opportunity, and not too far to travel either. I was tempted to go to the Euros this year, but I'm going to wait until 2020 instead. Or chance my luck at least!
Seeing the squad France have taken to the Euros, I'm not convinced at all. I can see why they're big favourites, but I will be well avoiding them in the betting. |
