Top 40 Chart Commentary

Calvin Harris holds the #1 for another week with 'My Way', now matching the six weeks that 'This Is What You Came For' spent at #1, and it could well spend even longer. It does however face a new challenger, from Bassjackers and KSHMR with 'Extreme', which breaks the top 2 after three weeks. It could become KSHMR's second number one if it keeps gaining but for now Calvin remains firm at #1. Offaiah is pushed down to #3, and impressively this is its fourteenth week in the top 3. Gryffin is a non-mover at #4 and Møme falls to #5.

Pep & Rash jump into the top 10 with 'Echo' at #7 after a low top 75 debut last week. It is their first top 10 hit of 2016, and their fourth overall following last year's 'Fatality' (#7), 'Rumors' (#1) and 'Red Roses' (#2). Vocalist Polina is featured and it is her second hit following 'Book Of Love' with Felix Jaehn (#3). Nora En Pure 'Tell My Heart' also enters the top 10 at #10, it is her first top 10 hit.

Salvatore Ganacci was sent to the Buzzjack Song Contest and following that it finally enters the top 40, up 20 places to #35. Zara Larsson brought out another new song last week, 'I Would Like' enters at #40 but should climb a bit in the forthcoming weeks. It follows 'Ain't My Fault' (#6) which is at #26 this week. One re-entry this week, Galantis are back at #39.
