It's a bit of a shock.

In second place we have the second single from the era and easily the biggest hit she's had in a while. Million Reasons talks of heartbreak but hope alongside it and it does so in the most simplistic, stripped back way. It captured the hearts of the nation, particularly with the Superbowl performance that catapulted the song into the Billboard's top 5. A beautiful song and the album's shining moment for many, but not on here as something else has just snuck ahead to claim it's (rightful!) place as Buzzjack's favourite Joanne song.

And that of course goes to the album's opening track, the tour's opening number and perhaps the song that summarises the message and ethos of the era most perfectly. Diamond Heart is a song about Gaga, but as the woman represents so many facets of her fans' lives, it is also a song that represents each and every one of them screaming back her songs, and chanting her lyrics all the time. It's a song of rebellion, freedom, despair, hope and pride. Sung with vigor and passion and expertly diving in and out of Gaga's vocal range it's not only your favourite song on the album but also, dare I say it, one of her all-time very best. Rarely has a song been so personal about a singer, but also so representative of the masses.
