 I'll explain briefly how the ticket buying process was for me in case it helps anybody who may be trying general sale tomorrow or pre-sale when the UK dates drop..So I had to sign up for a Ticketmaster US account as I only had a UK account then I had to apply for pre-sale for the dates I wanted. I put the 3 Metlife dates in order (you needed a US address and US phone number but luckily I have a few friends who live in the US so I was able to use one of theirs!). I then got an email a few days later saying I'd been verified as a fan and got text a link and a code for the pre-sale. You had to access the pre-sale through that link (which made no sense because the code and link was only text to your phone, not emailed, and it specifically said for best chance of getting tickets to use a computer lol... so I just emailed that text to myself and clicked the link that way). No idea how they verified who was fans. I had 0 purchase history on the Ticketmaster account I used, it is the same email I use for the UK TS Store but I've never bought a single piece of merch from her store, all I've ever bought off there are some Midnights vinyls. I honestly think the verified fan check was a hoax and they picked at random because I know people who used ticketmaster accounts that they have several previous TS tickets purchased on and have massive TS store order histories and they didn't even get presale codes! Also, you only got given a pre-sale code for 1 date. I.e. there were 3 dates at Metlife and they gave me a code for the last night, when I tried to join the queue I tried to join the first night as that would've been my preference and it wouldn't let me, I got a notice saying 'Verified Fan - but not for this show. Please join the waiting room of your allocated show'. So at the time of pre-sale I clicked to enter the waiting room 30 mins ahead of time and as expected kept getting a 501 error page, around 20 mins before the queue opened I finally got on. Once the queue opened at 3pm UK time I got put in and it said there were 2,000+ ahead of me. I then got down to 94 people ahead of me within about 45 mins and all of a sudden my queue stopped moving. Went on Twitter and saw Ticketmaster had tweeted saying they were aware of issues and working to fix asap. I was in that spot in the queue for an HOUR AND A HALF just staring at my screen I was scared it would start moving again and I'd be away. Anyway it finally started moving again an hour and a half later and let me in and when I got in it wasn't like other ticket sales I've done - it gave me the full seating plan of the stadium and any blocks that had seats lit up. You could click on the block and individually choose the exact seats you wanted which I thought was good. I saw front row was available and just panicked and threw them in my basket (word of advice, its at this stage you have to enter your individual pre-sale code, it doesn't let you add them to your basket without the code). I called my friend and said "they are X amount" and she was like "I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH THEY ARE, BUY THEM RIGHT THIS SECOND" so I flew through checkout and bam....So top tips: - Use a computer (not a phone) - Make sure you have your pre-sale code copied and ready to go - Make sure you only access the ticket purchase page from the link in the text, not from going on TM yourself - Make sure you are trying to buy tickets for your allocated date, your pre-sale code will not work for any other dates (even if they are in the same city)! |

That’s crazy ! Thought they’d only sell so many pre sale ones to keep enough for general sale ! Eek! Wonder how this will pan out in the U.K.
