The infamously axed Do What U Want music video was to premiere on Vice in an edited form, there was a pack in collaboration with BitTorrent that was to have interviews with Gaga, R Kelly and Terry about the video, a behind the scenes documentary, a 4K version of the full uncensored music video, the edited video from Vice, stills from the music video and the TIFF format of the single cover.
The clips that have since leaked are ONLY from the Behind The Scenes documentary, TMZ never had the full video nor does anyone as it was apparently never edited up or sent to BitTorrent, the interviews however could still be out there somewhere same for the full documentary and one of the stills of her smoking an e-cigarette leaked too but only in MQ- as well as the stills Terry posted on Tumblr years ago, so the stills could be somewhere. From what we can gather the video would've been about the dichotomy of celebrity public image; the first half being Gaga looking sexy and fashionable with her blond hair then the second half would've been her makeup-less, wig-less and interwoven with the clips from the end of the BTWB when she was vomiting and couldn't walk. Essentially reality vs fantasy. |

The stuff about ARTPOP, Thicke & R Kelly isn't THAT out-there in context though, given that this was the time when Miley was on top of the world for doing exactly those things and the truths about R Kelly were being somewhat hushed up still.
I'm not saying it would have been a good idea, but I can see it being pitched to Gaga as controversy and as something like her Madonna Sex book moment, with the other implications of it hushed up and buried away under scrutiny. |

I'm personally shook at Joanne the album having literally a fraction of Artpop's budget. She's potentially lucky she was able to lock in some of her big promo opportunities years in advance bc the label obviously didn't have much confidence in the concept following how Artpop ended up and all the money they lost in failed and shelved promo and single opportunities.

I find the budget information very interesting to read about. I've literally never thought about it for artists before in terms of their live performances and albums etc. I wonder what the budget for 'Chromatica' is off the back of ASIB!

omg stuff like this is so interesting, huge shame it’s because of a hack though, releasing personal information is particularly disgusting.
that promo schedule kind of emphasises the problem when fans (of any artist) are like promo!!1! You never really take into account the need to set aside days for rehearsals etc |

Why does Gaga attract so many leaks though?
For the first time in forever, they’ve struggled to leak the new single (TOUCH WOOD) so they’ve had to resort to leaking random ARTPOP data to try make up for it |
