I don't like Marshmello's recent one Love U much, hopefully I will prefer this one! Although he seems to have moved away from the cheesy eurodance style synths recently which is a shame.

I'm excited for this, I've heard he's got collabs with Demi and Selena in the works too so he's clearly pushing for some mainstream success

Finally one of the DJs made good collaboration. I was nicely surprised. Good track.

Very disappointing sadly, just sounds like the generic Chainsmokers type style. Doesn't have the cheesy 00s eurodance style synths he used to have that really made his style sound different to the usual style of future bass songs.

Bleh. It really does seem 'Alone' was a fluke because that's the only great song he's done so far.

Blimey this is horrendous. Another one of his recent tracks Love U wasn't great either but is a masterpiece compared with this...

I quite like this, it reminds me of Cashemre Cat - Quit (featuring Ariana Grande) but with a bit more oomph

I was also hoping it was going to sample the Delerium ft Sarah McLachlan track of the same name!

Struggling to work out why this of all his songs has made some UK Chart impact, it sounds extremely non-commercial to me compared with the likes of Alone, Summer & even Ritual.

Alone was too cheesy to be played on radio 1 probably, the buildup sounds like the sort of Alice Deejay type trancepop style. Silence is doing better a. because it contains Khalid whose vocal is great on it I think and 2. it fits with the chilled Chainsmokers type trend. |

Really enjoying this right now, getting a feeling like it's only a matter of time before Khalid is quite a big name so I think that's definitely helping this but I think it's a great track on its own merit.

I'm slowly coming around to this, the vocals mainly, they're brilliant. A shame the production is a bit dull as this could have been amazing otherwise.
