And so with another huge percentage of the votes, the next casualty is the album's slowest most subdued moment. 'Speechless' is deeply personal to Gaga - it is a message to her father, convincing him to undergo heart surgery and opens up the album to showcase a more tender and softer side. The personal connection that she felt to the song was demonstrated in the many live performances that she gave to it across the globe. Harking back to Queen and paying homage to them, it's a very Stefani-G'esque song whilst chanelling the fear of the fame monster and fitting in quite nicely on the EP. Still it's quite an obvious low point on an otherwise high-octane collection and despite the beauty and tenderness it offers, we're not really here for that ~ people seem to either love or hate Gaga ballads, and as the last poll showed too, it seems more of us edge towards the latter (o ) Gaga's bubble dreams have burst... 07. Speechless (20 votes, 57.14%) 08. Teeth (23 votes, 57.50%) I suspect I will be in PIECES after the next round, but can we please NOT. Here for a shock but I can already predict the 6th place song :'(( Deadline: Sunday evening~ |

Can't help but feel people are just trying to get one of the early favourites out the way early tbh - or it's just down to the fact it wasn't a single (which, this is buzzjack afterall  )
