!! I love 'Losing You' so if this is as good I will flatline and go to heaven.
We've been waiting for too long. Hoping for a Mutya or Siobhán heavy track here. |

I think this thread ought to be kept here, before a mod wades in and moves it to the Sugababes AF.
Anyway V EXCITING. This post has been edited by Jark: Jun 3 2013, 01:33 PM |

It's up to you, do you want it to stay here or move to the Sugababes forum? I think it should be moved to the Sugababes forum seeing as there are already MKS topics there.

Moved from pop forum, so you might want to merge this with the other topic that you already have.

Digital Spy did a first listen review of it:
QUOTE Since the original Sugababes line-up announced they would be reforming as Mutya Keisha Siobhan last year, you may have noticed we've been following their movements rather closely in anticipation of their new music. As such, following yesterday's announcement of their new single 'Flatline', you can imagine our excitement when a preview link to the track landed in our inbox today. With precisely 18 plays under our belt, we've posted our initial thoughts on the song below. First things first, we've been told that this is a 'first look' single, meaning there will be another single before the album comes out. But fear not, because 'Flatline' is a very good song and still very much 'lead single' material. It's midtempo in pace, but couldn't be confused by anyone for a ballad. Just like 'Overload' - their debut single as the Sugababes - Siobhan opens the track in typically striking fashion. We'd like to think this was done on purpose but it could just be a coincidence. And while each of them sings their fair share on the song, the focus remains on their harmonies, which are pretty formidable here. The production from Dev Hynes is as cool and classy as you'd expect (his previous credits include Florence + the Machine and Solange's 'True' EP), though crucially it isn't comparable sound-wise to anything on the charts at the moment. That said, the song finishes somewhere entirely different to where it begins. The best Mutya Moment is her ad-libbing towards the end. We've stressed that we've listened to it multiple times as it's not a song that immediately clouts you around the face with its brilliance, but waits until around the sixth or seventh play to do so. Mutya Keisha Siobhan will debut 'Flatline' later this month, although we're none the wiser as to where, when or what time. Looking forward to hearing this! |

A little tear has appeared in the corner of my eye at the sentence "The best Mutya Moment is her ad-libbing towards the end"
LONG LIVE QUEEN BUENA. Also, nice to see some confirmation of two singles before the album. |
