Shame to see Wigan out, they did well in the first half but Southampton upped their game after that.

I knew we would get drawn against Spurs. On one hand it's a bit disappointing considering we could have got Southampton, on the other hand we definitely would have had to play Spurs anyway at some stage in order to win the FA Cup as I think it's between us and Spurs and whoever wins that semi final will win the FA Cup this season.

The Wigan vs Southampton match was very entertaining to watch and Wigan should count themselves unlucky that they lost today as they performed really well, especially in the 1st half when they dominated the match. Wigan look like a team that could cope well in the Premier League and I wont be surprised if they get back-to-back promotions over the next couple of seasons.

Would rather have Soton or Chelsea than Spurs but if we beat them at their gaff I'd be pretty optimistic of lifting the Cup.

Spurs are so good at bottling it when they look like they have a sniff of success, so fingers crossed! I'd say that the winner of this Semi will be the winner of the cup.

It would be great to see Wigan get back up after a few seasons out of the Premier League. Just hope they won't go straight back down to League 1 like they did last season.

It was very much the proverbial game of two halves. One of the tests for a manager is whether he can make a difference after a first half as poor as Southampton had. Mark Hughes seemed to pass that test yesterday. Now he needs to keep that improvement going for the next couple months.

Disagree, Wigan can stay in the Championship/League 1 as long as it suits them. They don't have the fanbase for a Premier League team.

Yes, get in Herrera. Now 2-1 to United. Still all to play for.

So for the 8th time in a row in a FA Cup semi-final, Tottenham have lost.

They also remain without a trophy for a 10th consecutive season, their longest such drought since the Second World War.

I would say a missed opportunity for Tottenham again. Falling short. They need a trophy next season, I would feel.

I thought Pogba and Sanchez were our best players in that match and it was nice to see Sanchez keep up his FA Cup goalscoring streak at Wembley. Tottenham were all over us in the first 20 minutes but we grew into the game and I think it's a deserved victory for us.

Only 2 trophies at all in the past 25 years!

Arguably they needed one this year. Interesting to see how many stay given the wage structure and the continuing lack of trophies

Harry Kane was nowhere to be seen, well and truly pocketed by Smalling & Jones!

I hope Southampton beat Chelsea but it's very unlikely that will happen. A Man United vs Chelsea final would be something that Ray Wilkins would have loved to see as he played for both clubs so it would be a fitting tribute to him I suppose.

Royal Wedding or the FA Cup final? for me it was always going to be the FA Cup final regardless of who made it through to the final, I couldn't care less about the royal wedding to be honest so it's an extremely easy decision for me laugh.gif

Cup final day today! It's a shame how much the match has been overshadowed, it would be very easy to forget for a non football fan that the FA Cup final is taking place later on today and I don't think this has ever been the case before. Hopefully we wont underestimate Chelsea because they are capable of being dangerous on their day despite their poor form this season.
