We lose another single! This time the album's lead single - the screaming, party tune with a music video shaped by and commemorating her Superbowl performance. Mixed reviews and a mixed reception, we were all used to Madonna changing it up each era, but this was a completely different shift in tone and pace and really divided the fan base too. Commercially, the song was not a huge success though it did make the top 10 in some countries. It spelled certain doom for the rest of the era - far too girly and playful to be taken seriously and not explosive enough to take off, the song limped on the charts and was largely forgotten in time. Still, a fun (gif-able) video and catchy enough, it's fun ~
