Welcome to Round 11 of Least Fave Pink Single and after the immense battle of the previous round we say goodbye to 3 of Pink's singles, each gaining 5 votes each and which has to be one of the closes battles ever as both "Glitter In The Air" and "Just Give Me A Reason" almost lost their place with 4 votes, but "Bad Influence" pipped them to the post. Firstly we say goodbye to "Most Girls", which was the final single left standing from her 1st album "Can't Take Me Home", meaning that we finally lose an era. Secondly we also lose the first of the "I'm Not Dead Yet" era singles with "Dear Mr President", which also gained 5 votes. Then lastly again we lose the first of an album era singles "Bad Influence" which was the 4th international single from her 5th album "Funhouse". =24th Most Girls = 17.24% Released in September 2000 as the 2nd single from her debut album "Can't Take Me Home" and it's music video was the sequel to her first hit "There You Go", became an even bigger success by hitting the top 5 in both the UK and USA at #5 and #4, and became her 1st #1 in Australia, while reaching #2 in New Zealand, then top 20 in Ireland, top 40 in Belgium (Flanders) and Netherlands. "Most Girls" is the most successful of her R&B era singles, =24th Dear Mr President = 17.24% Next up is the controversal "Dear Mr President" which features the Indigo Girls, and lyrically it's an open letter criticizing the then president George Bush and had a polarizing effect on the critics and public, and due to this the song wasn't given a American release. But it was released worldwide as the 5th single from her 4th album "I'm Not Dead Yet" and it became a successful in several countries by topping the charts in Austria and Belgium, and reached top 5 in Australia, Germany and Swiss, while in the UK it was released as a double a-side with "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)" where it peaked at #34 on downloads alone, and spent several weeks on the charts. =24th Bad Influence = 17.24% Released in May 2009 as the 4th international single from her 5th album "Funhouse" and is seen as a fun rock chick party song and was named one of the standouts from the album and despite no music video or promo it peaked at #6 in Australia due to it's use in a Optus advertisement as well as becoming the theme for the Volkswagen Polo commercials in Europe, where it charted in several countries, hitting top 20 in New Zealand and Austria, and top 40 in Germany. Despite not getting released in the UK it managed to reach #123 on the charts.[ Results So Far =24th Most Girls = 5/17.24% =24th Dear Mr President = 5/17.24% =24th Bad Influence = 5/17.24% 25th Walk Of Shame = 6/26.09% =27th Get The Party Started = 4/16.00% =27th Feel Good Time = 6/24.00% 29th Are We All We Are = 12/42.86% 30th Last To Know = 6/27.27% 31st Lady Marmalade = 8/30.27% 32nd There You Go = 6/25.00% 33rd True Love = 9/33.33% 34th You Make Me Sick = 5/20.00% Right okay there are now just 21 songs left and same rules apply just vote for your least fave Pink single and the one with the most votes will be gone by Round 12 which will be on Thursday. |

Glitter In The Air. Clutching at straws here as I go for this because it wasn't a proper single in the UK.

Even though I'm only voting as 'null vote' to see the results (I'm sorry, but I really can't choose a least favourite from the songs that are left!!), I'm still really enjoying this and seeing what is going to be kicked out next

Why do you hate it? It's amazing. It'll be gone before it's time like True Love It's dumb lyrically and the chorus is jarring, plus musically it sounds like it was kind of thrown together in a rush as something to fill the album with. It was always my least favourite on I'm Not Dead since the moment I played the album through. |
