What do you think is part of this? For me:

• Tragedy being a million seller, close to double platinum (UK).
• ‘Best selling live act’ Brit Awards 1999 (UK).
• 9 top 5 albums (UK).
• 4 #1 albums in 4 decades (UK).
• 15 top 10 hits (UK).
• 11 top 40 hits (Belgium Flanders).
• Step one selling 2.5 million copies (Global).

I think their legacy is these:

- The only mixed British band to achieve #1 albums in four consecutive decades
- Heartbeat / Tragedy being one of the best selling singles in the UK before streaming messed it all up (17th best seller of the 90's decade)
- Probably the most successful mixed British band ever (definitely pop)???
