In the UK Girls Aloud had 5 singles peaking at number 2 and 4 peaking at number 2 in Ireland, please vote for your fave in each.

No Good Advice for me, i had forgotten life got cold had a higher peak here than in the UK and also had forgotten the promise missed number 1 here.

No Good Advice and No Good Advice

'No Good Advice' X2 for me too. 'Jump' would be next for both if NGA wasn't there.

I always have mixed views on the show, sometimes i do enjoy it and other times i do feel its just missing something.

No Good Advice x2.

Something New - UK
The Promise - Ireland

No Good Advice 2nd for me in both polls!

I'd forgotten that Life Got Cold did that well in Ireland, the only single that got a better peak there than in the UK.

Ya life got cold the only one with a better Irish peak,I wish this was the case wuth a better song though.

Both No Good Advice for me

01 No Good Advice
02 Something New
03 Jump
04 Love Machine
05 The Show

1. No Good Advice
2. Jump
3. Something New
4. The Show

5. Love Machine

'The Show' has actually aged so brilliantly for me and I hold it in such high regard, perhaps even moreso than I did back then - but the quality of that top 4 is just outstanding. Whereas I can't stand hearing 'Love Machine' these days.

No good advice and something new are big guns for me, i absolutely love both, something new chart run disappointed me but thankfully its done ok on streaming to bring its sales up a bit, jump, i think they did a great cover of it and i still like it alot, the show and love machine are kinda on par for me, i dont go them directly much myself but if they come on i enjoy them.

No good advice and the promise really in battle to win the best Irish number 2 hit.

Posted by: pippa 7th September 2022, 10:02 PM

Both tracks are superb but No Good Advice is the superior of the two songs.

Anyone left that hasnt voted yet to undo the tie in the fave Irish number 2.
