Hello Bré!
What sad and tragic news. I've heard the on german radio while working and it was shocking to say the least.
So it's nice to see a lot of Prodigy songs in your chart!
Out of all the debuts (except for the Prodigy debuts), my favourite was "Blast Off", such an amazing song with great production!
Great chart!

</3

I love the production on 'Blast Off' as well, a return to form for Gesaffelstein as I thought 'Lost In The Fire' was pretty weak all around.

Thanks for the comment as ever cool.gif

Delighted to see "Unbleached" so high - came here to say that I'm now obsessed with Bladee and Yung Lean laugh.gif "Trash Star" really is great isn't it.

I don't know why it took so long for me to click with the whole sad rap scene but I can't get enough of it right now wub.gif "Kyoto" and "Yoshi City" by Yung Lean are incredible.

Lmao well I'm here for this classic sudden mdh opinion swap xx 'Kyoto' is still my fave Yung Lean song and 'Yoshi City' is definitely up there too, you should check out 'Hoover' as well if you haven't yet x (and it's not quite making my chart but his new song 'Smirnoff Ice' is also pretty gud)

hi Bré!

01 ** 01 / The Prodigy - We Live Forever / 1- I prefer most of their classics but this is sounding good, a fitting #1 too. sad.gif
06 11 02 / Juice WRLD - Robbery / 11-6- looks like Fast is going to overtake this in the chart soon, was hoping this would be a bit bigger
39 ** 01 / MJ Cole - Serotonin / 39- this is great! MJ Cole has to be one of the more surprising comebacks recently but I'm enjoying his new output

great chart!

I don't think 'We Live Forever' is necessarily one of their best songs or anything (I'd still rank it behind 'Timebomb Zone' overall even just from the current album) but it was just the one I was listening to the most due to the fitting lyrics and it being Keith Flint's last recorded vocals with them. It is still a great song as well of course.

I was hoping 'Robbery' would take off more as well but glad it has at least gone top 40. 'Fast' is pretty decent as well so wouldn't mind seeing that give him a bigger hit ~

I wanted to chart 'Mercy' as well but didn't have room for it, very impressed with all of this new MJ Cole stuff!

TR/ST's 'Unbleached' marches forward 3-1 in its third week as it continues to sound better and better on each listen. It swaps place with The Prodigy's 'We Live Forever', as this week 'Breathe' and 'Firestarter' join all their other classics in the recurrent pile (I could still keep them here but I wanted to make room for more new songs etc. and one week in my chart feels like a good enough tribute xx) with 'Light Up The Sky' also dropping off to leave them with just their last 2 singles in this chart. Juice WRLD gets that third top 5 hit on my chart and his highest charting to date but is denied a first #1 as 'Robbery' climbs 6-2, meanwhile 'Hear Me Calling' which missed out on charting the past couple of weeks has also suddenly clicked with me more and launches in at #15. KH's 'Only Human' moves up a place to #4 and slowthai has another big rise to #5 with 'Peace Of Mind', giving him a second consecutive top 5 hit in my chart. The obligatory J.I.D new entry of the week is back, and he gets highest new entry honours with his own song 'Off Da Zoinkys' in at #6, not actually a new song but I've only just heard it following the video release because I'm a flop who doesn't listen to albums. It's less hooky than 'Off Deez' but still has great production and great flow as ever from J.I.D, and the music video has a cat in it, what more can you ask for xx Sam Fender's 'Play God' falls back to #7, while also getting new music video impact is JPEGMAFIA and Kenny Beats' 'Puff Daddy' which hit #1 back in January but dropped off my chart very abruptly, now it's back in heavier rotation for me again it goes straight back in at #8 with one of the weirder chart runs on here. It's third week lucky for Dave's 'Black' to go top 10 as it rises to #9 after two weeks at #14, while follow-up single 'Streatham' debuts at #20, probably expect further rises for both and at least a couple more debuts for him on next week's chart as I do intend to check out the 'Psychodrama' album in full. Continuing to make my chart a little more dancey, Prospa's 'Prayer' goes straight in at #10 as I discovered it through Universal's Radio 1 playlist payola, what a choon ~

There's another bit of fresh music video impact for Wiley et al. who return at their peak of #18 after a few weeks off the chart, while BJSC 112 shows its impact with four new entries, the highest from KOTO at #12 while FEVER 333, Amelie Lens and Sleeping At Last also make it in. Cowtermont are the only nation (other than Persephonia) to have made the Bré Forté with both of their 2019 entries to date (as I've turned out to be a little more selective with these new entries than I expected). Another high dancey new entry comes from The Chemical Brothers at #14 (feels a bit too low, expect a rise next week) while there's a bit of vibey R&B from Solange debuting at #16 and Offset enters at #19 with 'Lick' (I heard clips of a bunch of songs from his album and they all sounded like the same monotonous mess apart from this one song which has a fun bounce to it, reminds me a bit of 'Ric Flair Drip'). It's a good week for indie/rock acts, as well as FEVER 333 and Sleeping At Last there are also new entries for comeback singles from The National and Kishi Bashi, plus a newie from Vampire Weekend (not as good as 'Harmony Hall' but what is) and new singles from Cage The Elephant and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard which impressed me much more than their immediate predecessors (that new King Gizzard song is delightfully weird and cute x). This week's overload of new entries is completed by two more hip-hop tracks (the transatlantic collaboration from Roddy Ricch, Chip and Yxng Bane and a new track from the eternally underrated Denzel Curry in collaboration with producer Charlie Heat) and another dance offering from Joe Goddard and Kool Keith just sneaking in.

TR/ST gets a second week at #1 with 'Unbleached', but will this be my first 3 week #1 of the year? thinking.gif slowthai's 'Peace Of Mind' continues to rise, now surpassing the #4 peak of 'Doorman' by rising up to #2. Climbers also fill out the rest of the top 5. When Wiley and co. first entered my chart at #18 with 'Boasty' it dropped quickly, but it's having better luck following its re-entry at the same position last week, rising this week to #3 after being a big earworm. J.I.D rises to #4 with 'Off Da Zoinkys' and The Chemical Brothers have a big second week with 'We've Got To Try' up to #5, matching the peak of 'MAH'. KH drops two places to #6 with 'Only Human'. Dave's 'Black' moves up to another new peak of #7 while he also rises into the top 10 at #9 with 'Streatham' and has two new entries in the top 30 with his other UK charting songs 'Disaster' and 'Location' (still not heard the album so more new entries could still be coming). Juice WRLD's 'Robbery' falls to #8 from its #2 peak last week and the top 10 is rounded out by this week's highest new entry, the long awaited comeback of ScHoolboy Q with the amazingly titled banger 'Numb Numb Juice'.

Following the release of the music video (which has helped the song grow on me more, but the video alone is worthy of the song being here tbh) Carly Rae Jepsen comes straight back in at a much higher new peak of #14 with 'Now That I Found You'. There's also a re-entry from the music video effect lower down for Ski Mask The Slump God's 'Faucet Failure'. As for the rest of the new entries, I was slightly late to checking out The Cranberries' lead single from their last album with the late Dolores O'Riordan on vocals but glad I did hear it now as it's wonderful, a new entry in the top 20. Marshmello & CHVRCHES also enter in the top 20 as the song is rapidly growing on me (despite the basic production xx). A new track from Kendrick Lamar Anderson .Paak, 'King Kunta James', also lands in the top 30 alongside a random Hot 100 hip-hop hit from Yo Gotti and Lil Baby. In the lower quarter of the chart are five more new entries: George Ezra's latest singalong friendly single, a fun bit of dancey indie from Friendly Fires, more dancey indie from Foals (finally a song from their new album I actually like yay), LSD's fairly generic but very catchy new one and... a very belated debut for Billie Eilish and Khalid's collab, an old song but I've only just heard it now while peeping songs from the last Hot 100 which I'd not heard xx and also charting it to protest how underwhelming Billie's current single is tbh x

In this week-old chart, ScHoolboy Q zoomed up from his #10 debut to grab a week at the top with the bite-sized banger 'Numb Numb Juice', the second time he's been at #1 in my charts following his feature on Tinashe's '2 On' which had a week at #1 during the original Bré Forté era. TR/ST's 'Unbleached' became my first chart topper of the year to not drop to at least #3 after leaving the top, dropping just a place to #2 in its fourth week in the top 3 (a record for the year to date) after two weeks in pole position. It was a slow week for new entries but still high turnover in the top 10, with particularly indie/rock songs making large strides - The National's 'You Had Your Soul With You' and Cage The Elephant's 'House Of Glass' skyrocketed to #3 and #4 respectively after both spending two previous weeks much lower down, while Kishi Bashi's 'Summer Of '42' also cracked the top 10 in its third week at #9 and The Cranberries climbed to #8 on their second week with 'All Over Now'. Two further songs entered the top 10 for the first time, Marshmello and CHVRCHES flying to #6 with 'Here With Me' while Solange's 'Almeda' got a second wind to rise to a new peak of #10. The other survivors from the previous week's top 10: slowthai's 'Peace Of Mind' falling 2-5 and J.I.D's 'Off Da Zoinkys' retreating 4-7.

There were 'only' 7 new entries, with two of those being belated debuts for album tracks from ROSALÍA's wonderful 2nd album 'El Mal Querer' as I finally got around to hearing the full album (on vinyl no less *.*). The three highest new entries were various flavours of hip-hop, with top debut honours going to /r/hiphopheads' 2nd favourite semi-experimental hip-hop group Injury Reserve with a glitchy banger assisted by Aminé of 'Caroline' fame, launching at #12. Also entering the top 20 was Lizzo with her first chart appearance for me, a #thiccbitch anthem featuring Missy Elliott which is by far the best thing she's dropped so far. Grrrrd. Another experimental-ish hip-hop-ish track, Flume's collab with new Bré chart fave slowthai (and HWLS, whoever that is) also debuted while there were low top 40 entries for a dance instrumental from Kölsch and Sasha and another new track from TR/ST which has proven to once again be a grower.

And back up to date, The National complete their climb to the top with the wonderful 'You Had Your Soul With You' which has only sounded better and better over time - that rose two places to the #1 slot, knocking down the previous top 2 of ScHoolboy Q's 'Numb Numb Juice' and TR/ST's 'Unbleached' down a place each (the latter showing truly unprecedented longevity for my 2019 charts' standards). The hotshot debut (and a heavy favourite to rise to #1 next week) goes to ROSALÍA who's clearly chasing a proper hit with her new track 'Con Altura', a collaboration with reggaetón giant J Balvin and El Guincho who produced her previous album, but it's still an absolute bop and a half and it still showcases her wonderful voice so I'm not complaining. That just beats out another Spanish (although Galician language) track, my current BJSC entry 'Olvídame' by Baiuca and Aliboria which can now appear on my chart after a couple of weeks of being 'starred out' and launches at #5. Another track from the same EP, 'Caroi', also debuts at #20. The previous week's 3 highest debuts all climb into the top 10, though not quite in the same order as Flume, HWLS and slowthai leapfrog the other two to shoot up 20 place to #6 with 'High Beams'. Injury Reserve and Aminé's 'Jailbreak The Tesla' rises to just behind it at #7 while Lizzo and Missy Elliott climb up #9 with 'Tempo'. slowthai's 'Peace Of Mind' stays top 10 for a fourth week dropping 5-8 (after his previous hit 'Doorman' spent only four weeks in the entire top 40 oops) and Cage The Elephant round out the top 10 with 'House Of Glass' falling to #10.

A string-laden beauty from Apparat which just missed out on entering the top 40 the previous week makes up for it with a strong #13 debut this week. Catfish And The Bottlemen's best and most instant single to date for me launches at #23, twelve places higher than 'Longshot' got to, while there's also a top 30 debut for the GRM Daily-tastic collab between Steel Banglez, AJ Tracey and MoStack - it's no 'Ladbroke Grove' but nice that it gave AJ a first UK top 10 hit nonetheless. A few more tracks that just missed the previous top 40 but debut on second chance, a retro soul sampling tune from Burna Boy (of Dave fame) and DJDS (of BJSC fame), the surprisingly slow-burning but long-awaited comeback from Tame Impala (very glad this grew on me after finding it a bit too wishy-washy on first listen) and a new track from chill merchant Chris Malinchak. Rounding out the top 40 are two slightly older songs making belated debuts after the release of new music videos, bringing the total number of new entries to 11: Denzel Curry, Twelve'len and GoldLink's collab which is a lot more soulful and easy listening than the Denzel song I sent to the BJSC Halloween II spinoff, and a track from Yves Tumor which I checked out as a random YouTube recommendation with an eye-catching name (which I remember from seeing in Doctor Blind's chart x), a pretty cool little experimental-ish pop track. Vampire Weekend's 'Harmony Hall' becomes the second song to reach 10 weeks on my 2019 charts, matching the record set by 21 Savage's 'a lot', can it last at least one more week?

Hello Bré!
Really like the debuts for "2all" and "Fashion Week"! (Never thought I would like "Fashion Week" a lot than I do!)
Great chart!

Fashion Week is rather good, glad that's one of the token UK rap top 10s of the moment over certain other songs elsewhere in the chart
Patience sounded alright on first listen but I've already forgotten how it sounded like

That was pretty much what I thought too (didn't chart it in its first week) but it has been a grower albeit still not a huge fave.

Thanks Sergej for the last comment too, getting dangerously close to having to post 3 charts at once oops so 2 charts coming here now and hopefully the next one will be here on time cool.gif lol x

~

A week after debuting at #4, ROSALÍA, J Balvin and El Guincho ascended to the top spot with 'Con Altura', making ROSALÍA only the second female artist to get to #1 for me this year (after the blink and you'll miss it run of Rico Nasty's Roof'). The National's 'You Had Your Soul With You' slipped a place to #2 and ScHoolboy Q dropped two to #2 with 'Numb Numb Juice', behind another climb for Flume, HWLS & slowthai's 'High Beams', up three places to #3 to give slowthai his third top 5 hit of the year. Lower down the chart he also managed another top 40 appearance at #39 with new track 'Gorgeous'. Our BJSC entry 'Olvídame' by Baiuca feat. Aliboria held at #5, at this time we still did not know how it would do in the contest ;o TR/ST's 'Unbleached' fell three places to #6 while he also had the highest new entry of the week at #8 with the gloriously dark 'Colossal', his third top 10 hit of the year. The last three songs in the top 10 were all returning to the region: Dave shot up to a new peak of #7 with 'Streatham' (no particular reason, was just listening to it more), James Blake & ROSALÍA's collab 'Barefoot In The Park' returned to the chart strongly at #9 following the release of its music video and J.I.D went back up a place to #10 with 'Off Da Zoinkys'.

It was another clearout week with a ton more newies. Vampire Weekend landed on the chart with both of their 2 new releases this time, the more generally underrated of the two charting higher for me just outside the top 10 with the other making the low top 30. (Unfortunately 'Harmony Hall' fell off this week meaning there's still yet to be a song topping 10 weeks in my chart so far this year). Hot Chip's comeback did not disappoint as the house anthem (with a great music video) debuted at #12. A little behind at #14 was a slightly belated new entry for the massive viral country trap smash from Lil Nas X, I decided not to credit Billy Ray Cyrus as I do like the original more (as surprisingly decent as Billy's verse is). (edit from the future: although a later remix with Young Thug and Mason Ramsey also added charted for me as well so he got his recognition in the end x) Also debuting in the top 20 was a big dance track from Europa (aka Jax Jones and Martin Solveig), with Madison Beer who I would never have expected to ever appear in my chart based on how awful her solo material is xx A bunch more new entries of diverse genres lined up just outside the top 20: Billie Eilish's latest semi-weird pop smash, Sky Ferreira's long-awaited beautifully orchestrated comeback, electronic rock with a high budget and somewhat controversial music video from Rammstein (can we appreciate that being an actual UK top 100 hit in 2019 though *.*) and ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS THRASH METAL (!) from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Completing the new entries in the lower quarter of the chart were Ariana Grande & Victoria Monét's fun throwaway track, a newly released leftover from JPEGMAFIA's 'Veteran' album featuring some lovely vocals from Eyas, the slightly unusually sparse for its genre track from JAY1, Modset Mouse's somewhat lowkey comeback single and Dominic Fike's possible future hit landing on here following promotion on the BROCKHAMPTON YouTube channel (more about BROCKHAMPTON in the next chart magic.gif)

ROSALÍA and co. held on for a second week at the top spot with 'Con Altura', holding off a big 10 place rise for previous week's debut 'Hungry Child' by Hot Chip. With BJSC 113 coming to a close this was the impact week for our faves from the contest with songs from it taking the two highest new entries and 5 new entries in all - Thelonia's entry 'Creator's Flower' by k?d became the highest charting foreign BJSC entry of the year so far for me at #3 (if only it was that high in the contest) while Lotunia's Hawa Boussim landed at #7 with 'Koregore'. Our own entry 'Olvídame' by Baiuca & Aliboria, which came 2nd in the contest (*.*) climbed a place to a new peak of #4. FSR Rontvia's DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ debuted in the top 20, Beaverdonia's atlantida project in the top 25 and Trifoski's The Comet Is Coming just inside the top 40 (Elëdan's entries have just narrowly failed to chart for us 3 months in a row oops). The National's 'You Had Your Soul With You' held onto a top 5 place down three places to #5, James Blake & ROSALÍA climbed 3 places to #6 with 'Barefoot In The Park', only two places behind its previous peak now, and the top 10 was completed by three more songs new to the region. The highest non-BJSC new entry was one of 3 newly released songs from BROCKHAMPTON's Kevin Abstract (with 3 more released now and another 3 coming this week so expect more impact from him soon), the very OutKast inspired 'Joyride' debuting at #10, just ahead of the previous week's BROCKHAMPTON-adjacent new entry from Dominic Fike which rockets up 40-11. Billie Eilish's 'bad guy' shot up to #8 in its second week (a place higher than 'bury a friend' charted despite me actually still preferring that oops, and her third top 10 hit) while Vampire Weekend picked up their second top 10 hit of this era up two to #9 with 'Unbearably White'.

The new single from Chase And Status' era, which keeps with their return to jungle music (hence the title of the album), with featured artist Irah lands in as a new entry at #14, should enter the top 10 next week, a banger x the last new entry in the top 20 is a rapidly rising Hot 100 hip-hop hit from the awfully named DaBaby (was Lil Baby not bad enough x), an up and coming rapper with an infectious energy and a great sense of humour in his music videos. Speaking of music videos, two songs with newly released music videos sneak into the top 20, yet another grower from Juice WRLD and my favourite song that I've heard so far from Christine And The Queens' new album, with production reminiscent of HAIM's best songs. A couple of big dance tracks debut just outside the top 30, CamelPhat's update to a decade old Calvin Harris classic and the more up to date track from Meduza and GOODBOYS which has grown on me a lot even if it still just sounds like a Disciples reject. The late Nipsey Hussle (RIP) has a new entry with his YG collaboration which was my favourite of the various songs from him which entered the Hot 100 in the aftermath of his murder. The last few new entries come from Tierra Whack (also entering following a video release - featuring sentient potatoes - after just missing out when the song was first released a few weeks earlier), a genre-bending Radio 1 Introducing playlist track from Naomi Banks and another top 40 scrape for local-to-me rock band The Amazons (although this one will probably climb to a more respectable position next week).

Hello Bré!
Nice to see "Bad Guy" reach the top 10 and "3 Nights" getting into the top 20, both of these songs are my personal favourites right now!
From your debuts I like "Piece Of Your Heart", "Comme Si", "I'm Not Alone" and "Doubt It"!
Great chart!

It was a first for the year to date as ROSALÍA, J Balvin and El Guincho held on for a third week at the top spot with 'Con Altura', holding Hot Chip's 'Hungry Child' at bay at #2 for a second week. Kevin Abstract shot up 7 places to #3 with 'Joyride' while simultaneously landing three new entries lower down ('Georgia' and 'Big Wheels', dropped at the same time as 'Joyride', making solid debuts a week late while new release 'Baby Boy' just scraped in as well). The National's 'You Had Your Soul With You' rose back a place to #4 meaning it spent 5 weeks in a row in unique positions in the top 5, how satisfying x behind that was a big rise into the top 5 for DaBaby's 'Suge' with Dominic Fike's '3 Nights' also rising into the top 10 just behind it. Highest new entry honours at #7 went to one of two newly released 7-minute techno collabs between Alan Fitzpatrick (a name I was not previously familiar with) and the more established CamelPhat; 'Kona' landed in as the higher of the two, with 'Liberation' also making it into the low top 40. There was also a second new entry in the top 10 at #10 for Four Tet with the lovely 'Teenage Birdsong' (when will The RSPB?), following up his big hit on my chart with 'Only Human' under his KH alias. k?d's 'Creator's Flower' became the first non-Persephonian BJSC entry this year to get a second week in my top 10, falling 3-8, while Christine And The Queens completed the top 10 with a big rise to #9 with 'Comme Si'.

Tame Impala's second single from their new album ended up making a bigger impression on me than the lead, with this track entering at #19 (still lower than the peak of their Theophilus London collab 'Whiplash') after just missing the top 40 the previous week. A discovery from Jade's personal chart, AURORA entered just outside the top 20 with her best song to date. The week's random hip-hop new entry that no one else will know or care about came from Hit-Boy and SOB X RBE (of Black Panther soundtrack fame) also just outside the top 20. Club Bizarre VII showed some impact with our own entry from Kuedo and our favourite song of the contest from Rival Consoles both entering the top 30. The week's new entries were completed by Mark Ronson & Lykke Li's collab (better than 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart' for me, I may be alone in that opinion), a new gloriously 80s sounding track from Nuggets artiste Drab Majesty, a belated entry for Alec Benjamin whose song I always liked but I obvz waited for it to go top 40 in the UK before charting it cos #commercialhoe, Florence + The Machine's haunting Game of Thrones track and the new and rather underrated one from Carly Rae Jepsen.

Following their lowkey debut at #31 the previous week, Drab Majesty made a surprise rise all the way to the #1 spot with 'Ellipsis' as I caught myself in a week of suddenly being really into some dark-ish electronic-ish music more than usual. This also helped TR/ST's 'Colossal' to return to the top 10 at a new peak of #6, and could perhaps also apply to the highest new entry at #4, with Molchat Doma's 'Tancevat' (our BJSC 114 entry) finally being allowed to chart as the contest began (though it's been on and off major rotation for us since December last year). Following the release of the full version of his 'ARIZONA BABY' album, Kevin Abstract continued climbing to a new peak of #2 with 'Joyride' while landing another two top 40 new entries, 'Peach' just outside the top 10 and 'Use Me' just scraping the top 40. ROSALÍA & co.'s 'Con Altura' slipped to third after three weeks at the summit while Hot Chip fell to #5 with 'Hungry Child'. Christine And The Queens climbed another two places to a new peak of #7 with 'Comme Si', Billie Eilish's 'you should see me in a crown' made a return at a new peak of #8 (her fourth top 10 hit of the year) after being absent from the chart for three months as the song was hitting me all over again after checking out the official video (much better than the previous 'vertical video' which is rather unwatchable for an arachnophobe x), Four Tet scooted up a place to a new peak of #9 with 'Teenage Birdsong' and the top 10 was closed out by the highest non-BJSC new entry, Stormzy's new banger and UK #1 hit 'Vossi Bop'.

The rest of the songs I listened to from the Game of Thrones 'For The Throne' compilation album were pretty underwhelming but ROSALÍA delivered as ever and landed another top 20 hit here with her collab with A.CHAL for the album. Two Door Cinema Club also landed a top 20 debut with the second single from their new album, a big improvement on the lead 'Talk' which did not chart for me. A couple of semi-obscure instrumentals entered the top 25, a newie from post-rock gods 65daysofstatic (who get a second top 40 hit on my chart this year following the belated debut of their Unknown Pleasures appearance) and a rather quirky new track from Flying Lotus. Less obscure was the debut just inside the top 30 for BTS & Halsey which turned out to be a big grower for me after I initially passed it off as hookless and forgettable. Oops. x Also finally debuting after a few weeks just under the radar was Zara Larsson's best song to date, and the top 40 debuts were completed by Beyoncé's one new song from her 'Homecoming' live album (a bouncey bop x) and random Radio 1 reggae fave Koffee.

Back up to date and my top 2 is back as it was the last time I updated in here - 'Con Altura' by ROSALÍA and J Balvin featuring El Guincho climbs back two places to #1 for a fourth week, becoming the first song of the year to return to #1 for me and doubling the longest run any other song has managed at the top so far in 2019, while Hot Chip returned to #2 with 'Hungry Child', its third week there without yet hitting #1 (denied all three times by ROSALÍA, the greedy hen). The temporary disturbers to the top 2 decline again within the top 10, Drab Majesty falling back from #1 to #4 with 'Ellipsis', Kevin Abstract's 'Joyride' falling 2-8 and Molchat Doma's 'Tancevat' dropping 4-10. No new entries grace the top 10 but four songs do climb into the region for the first time. Top 20 new entries from the previous week, Two Door Cinema Club's 'Satellite' flies all the way up to #3 (this is the 2DCC I used to stan heart.gif) and ROSALÍA and A.CHAL rise to #7 with 'Me Traicionaste', giving ROSALÍA her third top 10 hit of the year (out of three new releases). It was a slightly longer wait of 4 weeks on the chart for Tierra Whack's 'Unemployed' to enter the top 10, shooting up 15-5, and also 4 weeks for The Amazons' 'Doubt It' which explodes to #6 after three weeks floundering outside the top 30. Christine And The Queens' 'Comme Si' completed the top 10, clinging on to the lower half of the tier for a third week in a row, falling two places to #9.

Highest new entry honours in a relatively underwhelming week of new releases goes to slowthai with the title track of his upcoming debut album, which debuts at #16 to become his fifth top 40 hit, an improvement over previous single 'Gorgeous' but time will tell if it can give him a 4th top 10 hit. Song contests provide 4 of the week's 12 new entries, with our own Nuggets 11 entry from Marissa Nadler and Stephen Brodsky the highest at #25 ahead of a top 30 debut for our favourite from the contest from Zeal & Ardor and a top 40 for our second fave, the winning entry from Brutus. Following last night's BJSC 114 semi-final results there's also a top 30 debut for our favourite of the month's DNQs, Aesthetica's entry from Thelma Aoyama which was truly robbed, an addictive banger. A couple more new releases debut in the top 25, a rather different sounding new track from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and a collab between BURNS (or 'Lies' fame), A$AP Rocky and Sabrina Claudio (who has a very lovely voice x). The weekly new entry from J.I.D returns as the release of a music video for '151 Rum' led me to finally hear the song (flop fan as usual) which was the lead single from his latest album, it's not quite his best song but still a banger and it enters in the top 30. Catfish And The Bottlemen land a third top 40 hit from their new album while the last few new entries come from Shawn Mendes' new remix of 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' song, The National finally landing a second top 40 hit to follow up their #1 after two other songs from them failed to chart since that, and our former BJSC winners A-WA just managing their second top 40 hit of the year as they continue to drop quality Arabic bops.

Missed it last week but great to see 65daysofstatic getting another song in your top 40, and shocked to see Olvídame leave your chart so quickly! It's done the opposite for me in that it's been a real grower, and in fact it's actually at #4 in my personal chart this week (not that I publish it anymore because effort, I'll probably upload all of the missing charts at some point this summer), matching the peak it had for you!

Looking forward to seeing the potential impact that BJSC and Eurovision have on your chart soon.
