I hope that's not the cover. That's the album cover.Anyway, regarding the previous tweet, when Sam asked "What's her name?", they were referring to the mannequin, not themselves. I mean, it's been said that some of the mannequins have names on the label during the pop-up event and this one especifically had a label which said Demi Lovato, so it's been rumoured that there's a collaboration with her in the album. Also, there's one with Labrinth. |

I thought Sam was against using genders and no longer wanted to be referred to as him. So how comes they can do this? One rule for addressing Sam yet they can do exactly what they want? This attempt at some gotcha moment is truly bizarre — it doesn't take much to be a little less ignorant. How Sam identifies doesn't change how others identify. It's not that difficult. |

I think the album cover's great! It says to me they're breaking away from the mundanity of their previous music/persona and this is the real them being unleashed!

The thing what I’m most drawn too on the cover is the beard colour what to me looks ginger but I swear I’ve never noticed Sam being ginger before?
As far as covers go it’s definitely eye catching. And musically I’m actually a really big fan I’ve always been a huge lover of their voice and their stuff on here what doesn’t get much love I tend to like. But a change in direction shows versatility I guess and there’ll probably be a few ballads on there too mixed in with the more up tempo stuff. |

I've known of a fair few people get a ginger tinge to their beards despite not being ginger on top. I do like what they're going for with the album cover and I like how vibrant it is, I just don't think super close-up, dead-on facial shots really do anyone that much justice. |

This is v cute but a bit of a step backwards in terms of his recent output but much better than anything on his first album

Yeah I don’t really like this either. Definitely no where near as good as their recent output which is a shame!

I'm really like this, although not really sure how its gonna fit with DWAS and HDYS on the album.
Also Promises, I Feel Love and Fire on Fire are all confirmed to be on the album. |

It sounds more like a Sam Smith on paper song which might explain why I like it on first listen. It’s a slow song but not in a big ballad kind of way and vocally it’s delivered more softly as well. I can see it growing for a lot of people I’m quite sold on this though and the video as well. It’s showing progression for sure but I think he needed something like this after the stuff what’s been released prior like they’ve helped to build a newbase for them where as this is appealing to the fans what they already had from albums 1 and 2.

It’s not his best, it would be an alright album track but not good enough to be a single. Hope there’s much better on the album along the lines of ‘How Do You Sleep?’ Also didn’t think ‘I Feel Love’ and especially ‘Fire on Fire’ would have been included.
