The Streets star Mike Skinner has cheekily joked Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy was the crack-smoking pop star in his latest single When You Wasn't Famous.
Skinner has created a showbiz mystery with his raunchy lyrics, which include the words: "Considering the amount of prang you'd done / You looked amazing on CD:UK (kid-friendly chart show)". And although he has remained tight-lipped as to which supposedly clean-cut celebrity he is referring to, he raised eyebrows after performing the song on British chart show Top Of The Pops, by quipping: "That one's dedicated to Cheryl Tweedy." However, Tweedy's spokesman has subsequently confirmed, "Cheryl has never met Mike Skinner and has no intention of doing so." |
