  This time we are ranking the contestants of RuPaul's Drag Race season 2, which premiered on February 1st 2010 with the number of contestants was increased from nine to twelve, and the prizes were slightly modified: a lifetime supply of NYX Cosmetics and be the face of nyxcosmetics.com, an exclusive one year public relations contract with LGBT firm Project Publicity, be featured an LA Eyeworks campaign, join the Logo Drag Race tour, and a cash prize of $25,000. Rank the Queens from best to worst: Tyra Sanchez Raven Jujubee Tatianna Pandora Boxx Jessica Wild Sahara Davenport Morgan McMicheals Sonqiue Mystique Summers Madison Nicole Paige Brooks Shangela |

This is a hard one. Juju and Shangela were VERY close at the top, particularly after Juju's performance on AS5 which has made her one of my all-time favourites. I don't see anything of Tyra these days (and I see she has quit drag?), but I remember liking her drag on her season so that's the reason she's relatively high despite disappearing and being controversial on social media (most of which has bypassed me a little). Half of this cast is quite forgettable unfortunately. |

Tyra was served really well by the immunities in this season, lifting her out of at least one guaranteed B2 showing. Besides that, I've always found her drag pretty unremarkable and her attitude poisonous.

Based on this season (obviously Shangela would be top if this was taking EVERY series into account)
01. Raven 02. Jujubee 03. Tatianna 04. Jessica Wild 05. Sahara Davenport 06. Pandora Boxx 07. Tyra Sanchez (her attitude was AWFUL though, however the queens below were just a mess) 08. Mystique Summers Madison 09. Nicole Paige Brooks 10. Shangela 11. Morgan McMicheals 12. Sonqiue (My opinion of her in subsequent appearances has changed, however I just didn't really like her in Series 2) Looking at the list, this is quite a weak season overall |

Just realised I didn't actually do one oops!
Ranking as they are now: 1. Shangela 2. Jujubee 3. Tatianna 4. Raven 5. Sonique 6. Morgan McMicheals 7. Jessica Wild 8. Pandora Boxx 9. Mystique Summers Madison 10. Nicole Paige Brooks I chose not to rank Sahara or Tyra as neither is doing drag any more. I also didn't particularly rate either; Tyra particularly had a pretty vacant personality although she was a good seamstress. While Pandora was pretty funny on the show I've not really heard tell of her since, likewise for Jessica Wild but I preferred her on the show. Morgan is excellent and Sonique needs to be back to give us another amazing lipsync moment. The top 4 are very skilled with Shangie being imo the best performer on balance. |
