Following their 'Mixtape EP' which got to #14 in March - Scottish band The Snuts have released new single 'Elephants', which seems to be the lead single for their debut album! Big fan of this, and it's already #1 on iTunes.

This glorious tune "Somebody Loves You" is out today, much more pop than I expect from them! Loving it though, hopefully Radio 1 playlist it

"Somebody Loves You" has been added to the Radio 1 playlist this week!

It's a fantastic debut record from them, so many bangers! Quite a few released beforehand over the last few years, but there's lots of new stuff as well (17 tracks overall on the deluxe!). And if you haven't heard them before it's a perfect introduction.

The newly recorded version of 'Glasgow' has got to be my favourite from it I think, sounds like a future indie classic

Hopefully it can get the #1!

Why are they called The Snuts though xx

(Their music is pretty decent, I just refuse to think they genuinely thought that was the best band name they could come up with lol)

"It was a name that was given to us really by people watching us at school struggling to play in time with each other. We kind of liked it and its stuck ever since!" is their answer to this from an interview laugh.gif

Glasgow is an absolute tune! Really loving it, could well be one of my songs of the year.
