Missing out on a Top 10 placing is 'Iconic'. Not quite living up to its title but it was initially a big highlight for me. Round 9 (11th): Iconic (6 votes) Round 8 (12th): Messiah (6 votes, joint with 'Iconic'; lost deadlock with 6 votes) Round 7 (13th): Veni Vedi Vici (4 votes) Round 6 (14th): Bitch I'm Madonna (4 votes) Round 5 (15th): Unapologetic Bitch (4 votes) Round 4 (16th): Queen (4 votes) Round 3 (17th): Holy Water (5 votes) Round 2 (18-22th): Illuminati, Best Night, Beautiful Scars, Borrowed Time, Graffiti Heart (6 votes) Round 2 (23rd): Body Shop (8 votes) Round 2 (24th): S.E.X (14 votes) Round 1 (25th): Auto-Tune Baby (9 votes) |

A good collection of songs left, but it's back to 'Hold Tight' for me.
Veni Vidi Vici, Holy Water and Best Night deserve top 3, 4 & 5 resprectively, Messiah (can't believe this went so early!) top 7 and the massively underrated Body Shop top 9. Illuminati isn't a favourite of mine but it's a clever song which also is underrated. Addicted is an overrated generic-sounding Avicii dance song which should have left rounds ago. HeartBreakCity is extemely plain and dull; it has a nice melodic chorus and a progressive build-up throughout but it's musically flavourless unlike pretty much every other song and the lyrics aren't anything special. Glad to see more people voting for it. From these votes it seems that Madonna's Buzzjack fans aren't liking R&B-influenced Madonna songs. I find the songs with this style of music are the more creative songs on Rebel Heart. 'Holy Water' and 'Best Night' are two of my least favourites on the album but I'm fond of 'Body Shop', it's just a little too unusual to be one of the highlights for me though. Agreed about 'Illuminati', but I can see why it left early. I get your criticism for 'Addicted' and 'HeartBreakCity', but as you pointed out, the latter track's construction is what sells it for me and I like its raw, honest lyrics. 'Addicted' is probably the track I'll start voting for after 'Hold Tight'. I'm glad Madonna's experimenting with genres she's not really touched on before, but I feel the efforts could be a lot better. If rumoured vocal collabs with Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar are true, perhaps she can prove herself. |

Living For Love for me at this point. I know it won't be going anywhere but it's definitely the weakest for me.
