Ready for this super relevant, super phresh theme cool2.gif

This should be LM's weekend, their live performances are always incredible.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:05 PM

I love that the whole show is permeated a big old dollop of PANTO (more than ever) this year

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:06 PM

Also Nicole is looking even more shamazing than usual this week *.*

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 07:10 PM

This Freddy performance really couldn't be any more inoffensive. It's so inoffensive it hurts. But at least it's a slight improvement from last week. Hopefully him being on first means he's bottom 2.

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 07:10 PM

Freddy/this performance is BLAND af. His face is so cringe when he performs too, a star he is not.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:11 PM

That all felt quite flat. The song was far too big for him vocally and no amount of backing vocals could make up for it. He looked like he was having a lot of fun though, which is an improvement at least.

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 07:11 PM

He doesn't even have enough personality to go on to I'm A Celebrity after he gets eliminated from the show.

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:12 PM

Nicole won't be jumping up and down in that dress, she might have a wardrobe malfunction cool2.gif

Well the market for somewhat posh gay is fairly crowded anyway

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:14 PM

Freddy that was very bland sad.gif

Speaking of bland...hi, Emily!

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:14 PM

Freddie's performance was a bit boring, been first to perform, everybody is going to forget that performance 1/10

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:16 PM

Oh ffs. Even more bland than Freddy... rolleyes.gif

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 07:17 PM

She really did pick the wrong song. This song does not work as a ballad.

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 07:17 PM

Emily Middleoftheroadmas BORE OFF. Another dire performance, can she go already?

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:17 PM

Sounds like the track is stuck on repeat, awful performance.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:17 PM

Well at least she was on point vocally this week, even if the actual performance was dull

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:17 PM

Louis: "IT'S INCREDIBLE WHAT YOU DID WITH IT!!!"

Is this bitch being serious? mellow.gif

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:18 PM

The judges must be smoking the wrong backy wacky tonight.

Preach.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:18 PM

It takes a lot to be BLAND in a dress that sparkly

Posted by: cqmerqn 15th October 2016, 07:18 PM

Well Emily was better this week

Posted by: Cameron 15th October 2016, 07:19 PM

Only performance 2 and I'm already bored laugh.gif

Posted by: Sabrina. 15th October 2016, 07:20 PM

Bland

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:21 PM

Don't worry though, we've got Mr. personality Matt Terry up next!

Got a funny feeling he is going to nail his performance with that dire of a song choice.

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 07:24 PM

oh how COINCIDENTAL that in Motown week we get an advert for Motown The Musical.

COINCIDENTAL

He has such an ugly face when he's singing

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:27 PM

He can do sexy dancing without looking cringe - I am surprised wub.gif

Posted by: Hadji 15th October 2016, 07:28 PM

Honey G is meant to be singing "Mo Money, Mo Problems". How is that Motown?

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 07:28 PM

Stop the contest right now, we have a winner. Matt really did a good job of that.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:28 PM

Nicole's thigh the highlight of the night

It samples a Motown record [Diana Ross - I'm Coming Out]

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:30 PM

To be fair he does seem like a winner and he's very good but he's also BLAND as cardboard

Posted by: Burbe G 15th October 2016, 07:31 PM

OMG Nicole's leg!!

Matt did a fantastic job of that and looks even better after that awful start to the show.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:32 PM

Nicole and Sharon are just killing it again this week so I'm fine with the bland acts

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:32 PM

Nicole needs to stop being annoying.

Matt's clearly going to win but if Ben Haenow can't sustain a career, Matt sure as hell doesn't stand a chance laugh.gif

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:32 PM

Sharon has been on the bottle laugh.gif

Time for Relley C the new Queen of Birmingham *.*

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 07:35 PM

The judges are such a mess this series rotf.gif

Matt was fantastic again and I don't want to like him mad.gif He is easily the one to beat! Relley v good too, lmao these two are miles ahead of the first two it's no contest.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:36 PM

Relley - EASILY the best of the night so far.

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:36 PM

So much better performance from last week, really like that.

Posted by: Davidson 15th October 2016, 07:37 PM

Finally some talent.

So glad Relley is coming through as the real star this year.

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 07:37 PM

Why am I still so worried about her though, I really can't see her avoiding the bottom 3 even if everyone else is DIRE. She just doesn't have the momentum behind her when she really should after these two performances she's given. Can the tide change for her please so hype can build.

Posted by: Burbe G 15th October 2016, 07:38 PM

Louis Walsh and his comparisons are back! laugh.gif

Fantastic from Relley C again this week. She's been the real surprise and has come into her own on the live shows.

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:38 PM

I don't think she'll beat last weeks "REALLY?!" comment to Louis when he said Bolario were going to sing their hearts out. Truly iconic rotf.gif

Posted by: Jason 15th October 2016, 07:41 PM

Great for Relley C really. I can't see her avoiding the bottom 3 tomorrow unfortunately though. sad.gif

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:42 PM

Relley slaying once again, but I'm with you on thr feeling that she might not be long for the show Haus

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:45 PM

Heartfelt chat with James there!

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:45 PM

James Arthur's apparently a "massive inspiration" because he has an appalling song which has blown up. Oh.

Posted by: Cameron 15th October 2016, 07:46 PM

She'll be getting told to praise James lmao

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:46 PM

Bitch needs to work on her DICTION

Posted by: Davidson 15th October 2016, 07:46 PM

How is 'Hello' a Motown song? I would say that is pushing it a tad.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:47 PM

Sam's got a nice voice but she needs to stop oversinging

Posted by: Cameron 15th October 2016, 07:47 PM

See, I like I Sam, but her voice sounds like an underdeveloped version of Ella Henderson's.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:47 PM

Wasn't a fan of that at all.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:47 PM

This is surely TENUOUSLY Motown. I know thr themes are usually meaningless, but yeah

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 07:47 PM

Why do so many contestants this year think that SHOUTING is good and going to win us all over?

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 07:48 PM

She has power but she needs SO MUCH WORK to be truly good

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:48 PM

"great stage presence"

Pretty sure Louis is on some kind of legal high tonight

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 07:49 PM

I thought she had more control of her voice this week than last. It was good.

Posted by: Jason 15th October 2016, 07:49 PM

Sam - Much better from last week's awful performance. tongue.gif

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 07:50 PM

Its definitely Motown she turned it in a more power ballad, I think she is more suited to rock music, a la Kelly Clarkson, overall a good performance, there is more from her yet to come.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:51 PM

Oh she definitely did, she has a good voice and was pretty good tonight but if she wants to be truly great she needs to learn some control because it so easily becomes shouting

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:53 PM

They need to cover some good songs. Enough with the pimping of that awful 'Millionaire' song. Ugh.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:56 PM

Love these guys but they need to sort out their band name.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 07:58 PM

The lad in the middle is like a baby version of Marvin from JLS laugh.gif

Posted by: Davidson 15th October 2016, 08:00 PM

Much better from 5AM this week, vocals and performance were far more polished. Good job.

Posted by: Jason 15th October 2016, 08:00 PM

Oh yes, I loved the second song. This group will sail easily to the top 3 this year. cheer.gif

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 08:01 PM

I wasn't really feeling that, too many songs so it felt a bit disjointed. Vocally it was good again but once the backing track and singers dropped out it definitely suffered.

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 08:01 PM

I do think they have booked themselves in the final along with Matt and probably Gifty.

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 08:01 PM

They are fantastic! Back on top form after a blip last week ~ Kieran is so f***ing hot too blush.gif

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 08:01 PM

Dark horses! If they continue to be this good then I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see them win.

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 08:06 PM

Ryan really doesn't have that great of a voice, but he'll sail through to top 5 because of the Scottish nationalist vote / girls who think he's pretty sleep.gif

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 08:07 PM

That was like throwing him under a bus with that performance

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 08:07 PM

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 08:08 PM

I actually liked Ryan's performance. Surprisingly

Posted by: honeyG 15th October 2016, 08:09 PM

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 08:38 PM

Saara's performance was so cringe, she's definitely bottom 2 this week.

I think the problem with Saara being 'cold' is because of her accent when she is speaking in English. She can't help it if she doesn't have the 'slang' like accent.

I think the problem with Saara being 'cold' is because of her accent when she is speaking in English. She can't help it if she doesn't have the 'slang' like accent.

Well it wouldn't be like thr Great British Public to act based on latent xenophobia now would it

The fact the judges all seem to genuinely like each other really shines through, it's rather nice biggrin.gif

Looking forward to the girls!

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 08:47 PM

Oh dear. They have the stage presence of four bananas.

Posted by: Cameron 15th October 2016, 08:47 PM

See, I think 4OD could have done really well if Louis wasn't their mentor.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 08:48 PM

Literally those last two lines were a million times better than the rest of the song. They have fantastic harmonies but that production was so off and made the whole thing oddly flat.

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 08:49 PM

Oh.. that was a bit of an anticlimax lol. I wanted MORE production and stage presence. Vocals were good obviously but hopefully they really blossom from now on.

Posted by: Davidson 15th October 2016, 08:49 PM

Disappointing from 4 Of Diamonds really.

The only good bit was harmonies at the end. I feel like they are missing at least one really strong vocal and lead singer and it makes it all a little meh.

Posted by: Jason 15th October 2016, 08:49 PM

Not a great performance, I hope they're safe tomorrow. sad.gif

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 08:50 PM

Poor performance, wrong song choice, I think they were pretty nervous more than anything.

Posted by: jase. 15th October 2016, 08:50 PM

I'll be surprised if anybody votes for them actually...hmm.

Posted by: Qween 15th October 2016, 08:52 PM

A clear winner tonight in Matt, again, but I think potentially any of: Freddie, Relley, Ryan, Saara could be bottom.

Posted by: Jason 15th October 2016, 08:53 PM

My bottom3 prediction:

Saara, 4 of Diamonds and Freddie (or Relley C).
Freddie will be saved again by the phone vote and the judges will save 4 of Diamonds. sleep.gif

Posted by: Mart!n 15th October 2016, 08:53 PM

Unfortunately I see the girls at the bottom of the pile after that performance, hopefully I'm wrong as I think Saara and Ryan were worse.

Posted by: HausofTravis 15th October 2016, 08:54 PM

It really should be Emily bottom but it will never happen and I have no idea why. Can someone who likes her try and sell her to me, because I don't get it at all.

I predict Saara, Ryan and Freddy bottom with Ryan being saved and Saara going.

Posted by: Burbe G 15th October 2016, 08:57 PM

4 of Diamonds weren't great. I think being last on might help them out this week but I can't see them lasting more than a couple of weeks based on tonight.

01 Honey G - Mo Money Mo Problems / 9/10

It can be anyone of these 4 going tomorrow, Ryan, Freddie, Saara and 4oD, I'm leaning towards Saara more than any thing.

Saara leaving tomorrow is the most obvious choice in years. Let's be smart and put some money on her in some next elimination odds. angel.gif

Just hoping that Emily is losing her appeal and Ryan can nab some of her Scottish votes laugh.gif

Posted by: twentyonemdh 15th October 2016, 09:58 PM

4 Of Diamonds were absolutely shit laugh.gif Sound almost as bad as 'Sucker For Pain' sounds

Posted by: Ryan. 15th October 2016, 09:59 PM

Best performances tonight were from Relley, 5 After Midnight, Gifty and Saara. Four of Diamonds were SO underwhelming, very flat and incomparable to the identically staged/performed version Little Mix did and that was received negatively at the time. If they weren't riding this comeback hype they'd be bottom 2 and out, but they will survive this week (before being out next week if this is all they are capable of).

I warmed to Honey G last week, but now I'm hating her more than ever. She basically performed the same song for the second week in a row, the only changed element (the motown sample) was barely noticeable at times via the backing track. People used to get up in arms when contestants repeated songs for the sing-off performances, but because Honey G does it (in the live shows consecutively!!) everyone gives her a free pass? I was going with the flow last week, but everything about Honey G - X Factor's constant pushing of her, viewers making out she's the best thing ever, her singing the same song twice in a row - is dire. I'd rather have Bratavio back if she's going to sing the same song every week.

Bottom 3 will be out of Freddy, Relley, Ryan and Saara with a very outside chance of Gifty or Sam. Gifty getting another late slot makes me think she struggled in the vote last week and could be susceptible to Freddy and/or Saara getting a bigger sympathy bounce than expected. Sam gave me flashbacks to Lucie Jones when judges decided she would fit the "rock" genre well, and was swiftly removed at this point in favour of Jedward. Talking of which, Sam is a very difficult one. She can sing, but her tone is very harsh (?) it isn't very melodic, and quite monotonous and I agree that she would suit rock songs much more - Evanescence's Bring Me To Life would be perfect.

At this stage I think Ryan's regional vote will still be enough so I'll go with Freddy, Relley and Saara with Freddy again getting the lifeline save (this vote is going to annoy me A LOT if it just saves the pretty boys or acts with strong regional votes every week). Relley will then be kept in favour of Saara due to viewers not warming to her - Louis sowed this seed tonight. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure Saara will poll above Freddy - and I think she did so last week as well but the lifeline vote ruins her.

Posted by: Davidson 15th October 2016, 10:33 PM

No way will Relley be bottom three. If anyone has a chance of replacing Saara, Freddie or Ryan it would be Gifty I would imagine.

Anyway he's my rating of tonight's performances:

9.0 - Relley C
8.0 - 5 After Midnight
7.5 - Matt Terry
6.5 - Freddie Parker
6.0 - Honey G
6.0 - Emily Middlemas
6.0 - Four Of Diamonds
5.0 - Gifty Louise
5.0 - Samantha Lavery
4.0 - Saara Altoo
2.0 - Ryan Lawrie

Posted by: Tombo 15th October 2016, 10:42 PM

Matt was on point tonight, he is sexy, hunky and has a great voice.

I think Louis was a bit harsh saying "they don't like you" to Saara, yes, she was in the sing-off but he sounded a little harsh.

I want Ryan or one of the girls to leave (except Gifty because she is fabulous)

Posted by: Lukuzz 16th October 2016, 08:47 AM

I'm loving Relley, Saara and Gifty. Four of Diamonds gave a really good first performance but they still need work, 5AM are pretty good and are growing on me. I rather like Sam but she needs a lot of work still. Ryan, Emily and Freddy are all average/boring to me. Matt I find really overrated and the high 'notes' he keeps over using is getting on my nerves. Honey G is just shit I don't even find her funny or entertaining and already the 'I say honey you say G' routine is getting boring !

Posted by: Mart!n 16th October 2016, 09:31 AM

Really worried for 4oD, they could finish off in the bottom 2, not connecting with the public considering they have just recently been added to the lives, and a poor performance and they looked pretty nervous on stage, hopefully the judges will save them, ideally Saara or Ryan are in the bottom with them, as I don't think they will survive the judges vote.

9/10
01 Relley (Her voice is just so captivating, I knew she'd be great for Motown! I think she "made it her own" sufficiently without losing the song too much and had a perfect balance of showing off all of her voice without shouting or over singing. I think she's lucky that she had the sort of song where there's a bit of room to do that but that was the best for me this week, just about)
02 Matt (There is no way he isn't winning this laugh.gif He's the sort of male singer I actually like on X Factor, he has a strong voice, falsetto, control, and of course is sexy af kink.gif I can't really fault that at all, this feels like potentially the biggest XF one horse race since Matt Cardle. Maybe I'm optimistically underrating 5am but he is such a textbook X Factor winner and I definitely wouldn't object.

7/10
03 Gifty (I thought for what's a bit of a silly song to sing on X Factor she did about the best she could. I love her attitude and she performed the hell out of it but she deserved a better song and less childish, garish staging. That's not to say it's not a good song it's just not her, it's also not really something I'd give anyone on X Factor to sing competitively to get through to the next week but I think she'll be fine.)

6.5/10
04 4 Of Diamonds (Vocally solid, but the performance was SO awkward. They didn't seem to gel together, at times some of them were dancing like me at pres awkwardly in the corner before I've had enough alcohol to dance properly... For me that really marred the whole thing, they feel unpolished. Maybe give them a couple more weeks to perform and practice but I'm not sure they'll last that long laugh.gif)

05 Sam (much better than last week but I think unlike Relley it didn't feel controlled. At points it was shouty, maybe just a bit of a wrong song choice. It's going to get boring if every week she comes out and shouts through a song that supposed to be much softer.)

06 Saara (Basically an exercise in how to be week 2 fodder on X Factor. Sharon has sent her up shit creek without a paddle with such a generic Motown song... As great as it is, you can't do much with it other than a straight karaoke copy and that's what it felt like. It was actually very much like what the overs used to be, belting out a karaoke cover of a dated song which is a shame because she's much more than that. I'd have liked to have seen her do a softer song and show the public she doesn't "just shout".)

6/10
07 Honey G (yep getting a bit bored already. I still find her better to watch on what is an entertainment show than those below her but she can't come out every week with "when I say Honey you say G", and I'm gonna begin to get more annoyed when the likes of Relley and Gifty fall into the bottom 2 and she sails through.)

4/10
08 5 After Midnight (controversial perhaps but I hate their vocals. They remind me of a less shit Rough Copy. If RC are the Lidl JLS, 5am are like... the Tesco JLS)
09 Freddie (similar to Saara really, it was very karaoke and bland but I like his voice less than hers. And his faces while singing were so off putting laugh.gif)

3/10
10 Ryan (nbf but if he was 10 years older and worse looking I'm sure he wouldn't get away with that laugh.gif He feels so lifeless and his voice was far too weak for the song.)

2/10
11 Emily (I'm probably gonna say the same every week but good lord she is SO lifeless. I have no idea how she's got this far and will probably come like 3rd, she has hardly any vocal range, no stage presence... Honestly she feels like they've just plucked any old girl from a secondary school "talent" show and dumped her on the live stage to sing a lifeless ballad version of a song.)

A fairly low standard this week :/

I'd guess at Saara being a cert for the bottom 3, but Ryan and Freddie are also in danger I feel. I don't think it will be that simple, I'm worried Gifty will slip into the bottom. I'd say 4OD as well but I think being on last and the hype of entering just this week will keep them afloat.

Posted by: troylovesmusic 16th October 2016, 03:29 PM

5am after Midnight were the best for me last night and I'm not even that fond of them . Relley and Matt were also very good . The rest were either average or terrible .

Posted by: MauriceMears 16th October 2016, 05:35 PM

Can we crown Matt to the winner already? What a voice! Didn't like his 2nd judges houses performance and he comes across a bit arrogant sometimes but there's no denying his voice is amazing!

Personally I think they're trying that with Gifty, yet Relley is far better! Likewise, I hope she gets far because excluding Honey G she's the only one I care about.

Posted by: Jack 16th October 2016, 06:17 PM

They shouldn't be pushing Gifty as much, she hasn't got the voice / stage presence that Relley does and I think Relley is more personable / likeable than Gifty.

That's a shame, not so much Saara staying but Freddie leaving when he had the potential to add something different - I really quite liked him when he was able to channel his inner Terence Trent D'arby(!)

Freddy should've stayed. His sing off was incredible!

At least Saara is buggering off next week

Honey G to do a Whitney Houston track biggrin.gif next week on DIVAS week

Posted by: Liаm 16th October 2016, 08:18 PM

I'm so fed up of people dwelling on Freddie's sexuality, I've seen loads of it on Twitter but I just do not see why it matters. If he's so "camp", maybe that's just him stating he's gay without making a deal of it... Either way, it has 0 to do with the competition and 0 to do with the viewers. Gays can be so nasty about their own kind :/ He's a young man and might be scared to make it s thing or speak up about it, do you not remember how that felt?!

Anyway YAS at Saara living to sing another week, I think either of them wouldn't have made it much farther but Freddie was so boring imo. Divas is a great theme, at least that way acts can sing stuff that fits their own style rather than be confined to a dated genre.

Also Christ at next week's performers :/

So pleased Saara has got through another week! I did think if it went to deadlock that she had an outside chance as long as it went back to the main vote, Freddy was on first and Saara on next to last after all. I'd rather Ryan have gone over both of them though, Freddy was my favourite boy.

Sharon stepped over the line though from being funny to downright ignorant and nasty, she's known Saara for 3 months now (since bootcamp) and pretending to not know her name is just nasty.

Ryan is making more and more comments that seem like he's turning against the producers, I think he is going to be in line for a Janet Devlin-esque sabotage - I bet he'll be the first boy on next week and probably will open the show!

Posted by: Tombo 16th October 2016, 09:10 PM

Sharon has difficulty with the pronunciation of her name.

It is difficult for older people to pronounce new names and things so I don't see it as a spiteful act.

Sharon wouldn't have put it through JH if she didn't like her.

It shouldn't be a new name for her though, she first met Saara at bootcamp over three months ago! And she should have been working with her multiple times a week for the last month, it was either a joke in very poor taste or just spiteful.

I'm convinced Sharon had no part in the decision of who to take through, even at judges houses she didn't seem to be a fan of Saara. Now it seems like she's taking out the fact the producers forced Saara on her on Saara herself when that isn't fair.

Sharon flies over to America during the week to present 'The View' over there (a daily daytime show). The idea of actual mentoring by the judges seems to be sadly long gone.

But why does he need to hide it? Maybe if he'd been open, I would have had more respect for him.

I don't get why he changed the lyrics of Killing Me Softly either. Is he trying to appeal to a teen girl demographic that can clearly see through his act?

Yeah, i agree with Jack. Basically, who really cares? He doesn't need to remind us of being gay every week. He could literally be like 'my boyfriend came to see me this week, its great to see him again' instead of being like 'being gay is really hard for me in the contest *cries*'

It's his life, his business. He is out the competition now so it is irrelevant.

It seemed to me that she genuinely forgot her name, as indefensible as that is! Glad Saara was saved again, much as Freddy's been slowly growing on me. Homosexuality is still not even comfortably expressed on X Factor. When Saara's family and partner were invited to see her, her SISTER was taken out for a daytrip rather than her girlfriend/wife and the only time I saw her sexuality acknowledged was during Lorraine. Even in 2016 it seems to be radical to speak about it on television.

He just comes across as clearly gay though so I don't get why he would hide it.

The right person left tonight, i didnt rate Freddie and was shocked he got through to the live shows in the first place. Poor Zara, again she did not deserve bottom 2 and her sing off performance yet again was excellent. Its hard for contestants who dont have a region behind them, it was the same for Ruth Lorenzo for the first few weeks but then she startied getting support after the first 3-4 weeks.

Posted by: HarryEzra 16th October 2016, 11:41 PM

With regarding the who Freddie sexuality thing it does not matter at all anyway but I am glad he is not like shouting from the high heavens he is gay (not that is a problem of course) but its nice to see a singer who isn't defined by their sexuality and can be who they want to be, be it straight or gay. He could be coming to terms too for all we know but the bottom line is he is a very relatable and talented guy why does who they have sexual attraction too matter.

Posted by: Liаm 17th October 2016, 12:51 AM

Whether we're going to make a social commentary about low key homophobic Britain in 2016, it still doesn't matter if a contestant is gay or not laugh.gif This isn't some dating show or Big Brother where you want to get to know life stories and form opinions of the intricate details of someone's identity and personality... Yes it's nice to have those tidbits but I'm actually glad Freddie just focused on the singing, I wish more people would. I don't give two shits about Ryan and Emily's relationship or that guy who moaned about dyslexia for example, it's nice to have a little VT with a bit of personality but they are there to sing and follow their dreams at the end of the day, not to indulge the nosy public in knowing every little detail of their lives.
