Also on another note, I accidentally forgot to include a song which made the final in the final thread! So oops for Sixpence None The Richer- Kiss Me who therefore pick up no votes because of their absence in the final list! So they will have an honorary top 60 placing!

And we're off..

56. (62) +67 Sugababes- Too Lost In You (Love Actually) (62-56) (16th, S6)/(15th, S2)
57. (34) +65 Dido- Here With Me (Love Actually) (34-57) (7th, S5)/(15th, S1)
58. (26) +64 Roxette- It Must Have Been Love (Pretty Woman) (26-58) (9th, S5)/(10th, S2)
59. (53) +61 Lea Salonga & Brad Kane- A Whole New World (Aladdin) (53-59) (14th, S1)/(18th, S2)
Honorary Top 60. (33) N/A Sixpence None The Richer- Kiss Me (33-‘Honorary Top 60’) (5th, S4)/(8th, S2)

Bottom of the pile, excluding our honorary song is A Whole New World, which has bene covered so many times that I hate it with a pasion. Two songs here take a tumble from last year, Dido's Here With Me and sadly It Must Have Been Love which falls from within the top 30 to 58th. Ouch. Too Lost In You, the secons of two Love Actually songs here ends up being the ony song here to climb, even if only by a few spots.

It begins to get brutal from here on in.

No losses there for me! Like Dido/Roxette but there are better songs in the competition, hate A Whole New World and Too Lost In You is one of my least favourite Sugababes songs!

51. (31) +87 Lorde- Yellow Flicker Beat (Mockingjay Part 1) (31-51) (8th, S4)/(19th, S3)
52. (NE) +84 Dolly Parton- 9 To 5 (9 To 5) (52) (5th, S2)/(8th, S1)
53. (38) +73 LeAnn Rimes- How Do I Live? (Con Air) (38-53) (13th, S6)/(10th, S1)
54. (NE) +72 Hilary Duff- This Is What Dreams Are Made Of (The Lizzie McGuire Movie) (54) (19th, S3)/(20th, S2)
55. (17) +69 Elton John- Can You Feel The Love Tonight (The Lion King) (17-55) (7th, S6)/(12th, S3)

Quite a few losses here for me! First we have Can You Feel The Love Tonight which has taken quite a fall, being top 20 last year and missing out on the top 50 this time! Two new entries here by Dolly and Hilary (both losses) and also a drop for How Do I Live. The BIGGEST loss here is of course Yellow Flicker Beat, which just missed out on the top 50 cry.gif This is one of my favourite Lorde songs so sad to see it underperform

Fact Time! Hilary literally sneaked through both semi's right at the last second so excellent finish that she made the final in the end!

Dolly and Lorde are far too low sad.gif

46. (21) +98 James Newton Howard Ft Jennifer Lawrence - The Hanging Tree (Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1) (MORE VOTES) (21-46) (10th, S4)/(9th, S2)
47. (66) +98 Madonna - Beautiful Stranger (Austin Powers 2) (LESS VOTES) (66-47) (11th, S2)/(18th, S3)
48. (27) +97 Survivor- Eye Of The Tiger (Rocky IV) (27-48) (2nd, S2)/(16th, S2)
49. (45) +96 Elton John - The Circle Of Life (The Lion King) (45-49) (7th, S1)/(15th, S3)
50. (NE) +94 The Cardigans - Lovefool (Romeo + Juliet) (50) (5th, S6)/(9th, S3)

The last section without any major losses!! We see Lovefool sneak into the top 50 on its first go after doing great in the semi's and movie classics such as The Circle Of Life (though The Lion King cast version is way better) and Eye Of The Tiger also ended up in this section! The Hanging Tree & the aforementioned Eye Of The Tiger both suffer hefty falls from the top 40 while Madonna made the final for the first time with the fantastic Beautiful Stranger heart.gif

41. +101 Paramore - Decode (Twilight) (MORE VOTES) (41) (11th- Semi 1/20th- Semi 3)
42. +101 Pink- God Is A DJ (Mean Girls) (LESS VOTES) (44-42) (1st- Semi 4/14th- Semi 1)
43. +100 John Travolta ft Olivia Newton John- You're The One That I Want (Grease) (MORE VOTES) (30-43) (8th- Semi 5/11th- Semi 1)
44. +100 Alanis Morissette - Uninvited (City of Angels) (MIDDLE VOTES) (32-44) (7th- Semi 4/4th- Semi 3)
45. +100 Lana Del Rey- Young And Beautiful (The Great Gatsby) (LESS VOTES) (43-45) (9th- Semi 4/14th- Semi 2)

3 songs here that should have been much higher, I'm talking top 10. P!nk and Lana slayed with these songs (P!nk manages to climb from last year though, so there's some small comfort there) and Alanis, with one of the best songs ever recorded, seriously if you don't know it, go download. It was written for the really rather sad City of Angels and really suits the mood of the movie.
Paramore drop with a decent song too, and then there's that overrated trash from Grease.
