Well that was the least dramatic AC ever! Although the clear gay lovefest between Ola Salo and Peter Jöback was enough to keep me entertained.
VERY EARLY PREDICTIONS for the final result: 01. Frans 02. Robin Bengtsson 03. Samir & Viktor 04. Ace Wilder 05. Oscar Zia 06. SaRaha 07. Molly Sandén 08. Wiktoria 09. Lisa Ajax 10. Boris René 11. Panetoz 12. David Lindgren |

She did the whole numbers written on her hand thing last time around. They were the girls death date or something. The girl was a fan iirc. There was some sob story somewhere on the internets. And Isa was telling this to everyone who would listen days before her first performance to make herself look oh so charitable and beg for pity votes. Glad this hasn't worked. Well, you live life with a lovely mindset. |

This year really has suffered from a lack of shock results. Despite it being a good year on quality it hasn't been as entertaining because of that.
I guess a prediction from me at this stage would look like so: 01. Frans 02. Samir & Viktor 03. Robin Bengtsson 04. SaRaha 05. Molly Sandén 06. Oscar Zia 07. Wiktoria 08. Ace Wilder 09. Panetoz 10. Boris René 11. David Lindgren 12. Lisa Ajax I think Bada Nakna might have grown on me enough to be in my personal top 5 in that final (also includes SaRaHa, Wiktoria, Panetoz and Molly). I mean, it's a good final, I'm not saying it's bad because of that, that song is just INFECTIOUS. |

Great, if expected, results. A shame to see Isa out because it sounds like a finalist but her duel was against her, seeing as SaRaha is so popular.
Beyond Frans 1st and Robin 2nd with David last I have no idea what the results will look like. Will be interesting to see if Samir & Viktor do better this year, the song has grown on me a lot, it's quite an anthem (and was obvs a former #1 in Sweden so should do well). Lol at Wiktoria's slot near the end, they reaaaaally want her to do well! |

Want:
01 Don't Worry (this has edged it for me over Youniverse after my initial hysteria over the latter!) 02 Youniverse 03 My Heart Wants Me Dead 04 Save Me 05 Kizunguzungu 06 Human 07 Constellation Prize 08 Bada Nakna 09 Hall om mig Hart 10 We Are Your Tomorrow 11 Put Your Love On Me 12 If I Were Sorry Think: 01 Frans 02 S&V 03 Robin 04 Ace 05 Molly 06 Wiktoria 07 Oscar 08 SaRaHa 09 Boris 10 Pantetoz 11 Lisa 12 David I actually quite like Bada Nakna, if only there was some random chance it could snatch a shock win over Frans.... |

TBH I think the jury vote will have a bigger say over 2nd-12th this year, as Frans I can see running away with the public vote, and last year the jury vote hit Samir & Viktor (I think) so they might end up lower than people would expect.

Given the utterly bizarre and unexpected results from some national finals this year, an open mind should be kept for MelFest. That and the fact I don't want that little turd Frans going through esp in a very strong final.

^^^ OMGGGGG That is amazing. I'm very excited for BWO! It's been so long! the only act that I'm missing is Alcazar, but they did get their own interval act a few years back.

This has entered the Swedish Spotify top 40 today after one of the newspapers accused Frans of plagiarising it yesterday. I have to say that the melodies of that and If I Were Sorry are practically identical, very noticeable in the first verse! Then again the productions of both are very minimalist so it doesn't leave *too* much room to be different but still. Frans' streams have dramatically increased today too, presumably for the same reason! |
